Im writing this review just after trying Super Burgers double cheeseburger combo for the first time. Ive lived in the north Pasadena area now for the past 2 years, and I always drove by Super Burger on the way home. Last week, I finally tried their teriyaki chicken bowl. Asian couple, so I thought, asian food. Nothing spectacular.. not bad, not good, just kind of a generic plate. When I was leaving though, the nice Korean lady there told me, try our burger next time, its really good. So following Andrew Zimmerns advice of "you gotta try it twice", I went today and ordered what was recommended, the double cheeseburger combo. When I got home and opened my box, I knew I was in for a treat. Let me say, this burger may topple the top spot for favorite burger for me. First of all, the burger is humongous. Their double paddies are like a Carls Jr. Super Star with cheese but with an extra paddy of beef! It comes with a helping of fresh fries that are about double a large size fries at most fast food joints. What made it win for me was, the burger was actually very good, the meat was cooked just right, fresh, hot, and very juicy. With a few jalapenos and a large drink, it came to $7 even, which Ill gladly pay again when the burger craving hits. Lesson: Order the hamburger if the joint is called Super Burger. ^_^ (food comatase...)

All to frequently, mom and pop burger stands seem to let me down. Maybe because I expect to much. Every visit to one, I am expecting that hole in the wall burger joint to be that magical place where their burgers takes those high end chain burgers to the woodshed and spanks them. Then I visit Super Burger. Typical stand looking place, crappy parking, and sits next to what looks like a fugitive hideout. The seating isnt that comfortable and the fries and onion rings are probably of the Costco frozen variety. Even the people behind the counter are surly. What saves this place is a pretty awesome burger. Big, juicy, tasty. They keep it simple - cheese, lettuce, tomato and some sauce. Add on some pastrami or teriyaki if desired. After one bite I started planning my return trip. A must visit for any burger lover. It has restored my faith in the burger stand. Thank you Super Burger!

Saw all the Great reviews...so we went...pricy for what you get if you ask me.the cheese burger special was $7.99+tax...I didnt want the Costco frozen crinkle cut fries so asked the lady can I get onion rings in place of the fries,she said yes and charged $2 more! The few onion rings I paid extra$2 for were the generic Costco type frozen bagged...no onion in the ring,just chopped dry mush inside...didnt even taste like onion....and the burger was made thick,bigger than most mom n pop places, but mine was hard burnt on the top and bottom...you could feel the hard burnt parts as you chewed...and so in need of salt,pepper,and some seasoning...bland meat.So for me,next time I rather go to in N out...The owners at this place need to step up their game and use a better quality of products or lower the prices... Seriously!!!

This is definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. The bun is just ok, plain fixings, but that patty is something else. Every burger joint has thin patties. This one is thick and cooked perfectly. Its that good to keep this place at 5 stars for what it is. The chicken sandwich comes with two chicken patties. It sounds like it might be too much chicken on a sandwich but its actually really good. Its like the patties youd buy at Costco, but its crispy and done right. They have a small parking lot, but there is lots of street parking available since there are no other eating joints nearby -- at least none that I noticed since I was fixated on my burger the whole time.

The best burgers in town without question. Or the next town! "Lettuce, tomato, thousand island, onion" are their standard toppings. The meat is what does it, though. Thick and meaningful. Can meat be meaningful? The meat here is to me. The fries go great with the burger. Its a little less than $10 for a filling cheeseburger combo. Note: A double cheeseburger from here is too much food for any one person I know, but if you want to indulge.

GO HERE! This is one of the best burger joints in Southern California. You wont be disappointed. I would drive an hour to get food here. The staff is great, burgers are beyond what you are expecting. If you get a double cheeseburger come hungry because its HUGE. I measure all my burger experiences off of this place! Hand formed patties, a well seasoned grill, and perfect sear on the burger.

Omg! Their salmon is to die for! Super yummy and the portion size is incredible! Actually way better salmon than The Flame Broiler! Highly recommend! Definitely ordering it again! I also have tried their cheeseburgers, terayki chicken, and burritos! You cant go wrong with this spot! If you are in Pasadena you must try anything on their menu....you wont be disappointed!

This place was BOMB (really good) . I havent had a great burger like this since I moved to LA! Im going to definitely come back, ESPECIALLY since they have a physical veggie burger (veggie Pattie) . It was so yummy and fresh plus the fries were good as well. And did I mention they give you ALOT of food all under 7$. Come and you will enjoy 5 starts:)

Well i like in INDIANA now but i used to live right down the street from here. I used to eat here almost every week. My favorite thing was the sausage bacon and egg breakfast BURRITOS. Best breakfast burritos ive had. Their burgers are great also. When i make a trip back to California i will definitely be stopping in for breakfast and lunch

I have always drove by but have never eaten until recently because a friend recommend. The burger looks and taste amazing . If you havent tried it yet then go all out and get a double bacon avocado super cheese burger ... something like that ! Youll thank me later . Ohh they are not shy about the servings of fries .

This is based only on the ice cream. It is AMAZING and soon good. You need to go there and get some.The service by the staff is great. They are very nice and quick. The ice cream tasted fresh, delicious and rich. Visit them for the best ice cream around. YUM!

Great quality food for a low price. The location appears to be a bit of a dive but that keeps the tourists out. The cheeseburger combo was more than enough food for lunch and the burger itself was about the equivalent of an in n out double double

Wow... Puts In N Out to shame... Five Guys Who??? ONE of the most amazing Burgers ever. Home made style cooking, was such an explosion of taste at the 1st bite. Would drive the 50 mIles again just to eat here again.

The burgers are so great here that I believe this place should be credited with inventing a new flavor and that flavor is "Awesome". Dont believe me?... Try it, the food speaks for itself.
