5불에 single ice cream sandwich. 추천해줘서 chocolate molten? 초콜릿과 바닐라가 섞인 맛과 초콜릿 쿠키 먹었다. 맛은 솔직히 그냥 아이스크림 뭐 고르는 지에 따라 다른 듯. 엄청 맛있다, 는 아니었고, 맛있는 축에 속하는 아이스크림이구나, 정도? 양은 어떤 맛이든 한 가지 맛만 먹으면 질리게 될 정도로 충분한 것 같다. 쿠키가 약간 부드러운데, 쿠키로 아이스크림을 떠먹을 수 없는 정도? 초콜릿만 먹어서 조금 달았다.

Coolhaus has interesting flavors of ice cream; pastrami, maple fried chicken, salad, etc. That being said, I could never recommend any of them to anyone. Mint is probably my favorite flavor of ice cream, but their "dirty mint" is nasty. Its a too "dirty" for me, tastes like they didnt clean the fresh mint. What bugs me more are their "spoons". After you finally decided on which flavor you can tolerate the most, they give you a piece of popsicle wood to eat it with. You taste the wood in every bite. If youre considering going here, that means youre in Old Town Pasadena. Where there are a bunch of other frozen treat store you can go to that dont leave the taste of wood in every bite. The wooden spoon thing could work, Carmela does it perfectly. Coolhaus....... Does not. I wont be going back.

Ingenious? Perhaps not. Nonetheless, these are quite decadent treats. I would not even like to think about how many grams of sugar are in these build-your-own ice cream sandwiches. In an earlier review someone mentioned that they were a good deal at $5. Well, not exactly. You see, if you really want to build-your-own ice cream sandwiches, this is what you do: 1) Go to your local supermarket, buy a box of their baked-in-house cookies for around $2.50/$5.00; buy a half/gallon of your favorite ice cream around $4.00 and 2) gather your friends, and 3) make an afternoon/evening out of it.

Ive heard alot about this place and was actually pretty happy about to check it out. Its in the hipster part of Pasedena and the shop itself is connected to another pie shop place ( which I did not to get to try,sadly). I liked the different flavors they had but I ended up getting the jack daniels lucky charm sandwiched between two red velvet cookies:) Ot was decadent and the cookies were soft and perfect.

At $5 a sandwich, Im not sure what to think of these. The ice cream is clearly of good quality. However, Im not sure If I really like the cookie, its below par. They remind me of the type of cookies you get at your local supermarket. Not the kind in the bakery but the kind in the baked good aisle. In general, the sandwich was good, maybe a little too sweet for my taste.

Great tasting ice cream sandwiches and ice cream! The price is great for your wallet too! I tried the fig and balsamic ice cream (which I didnt think would taste so good but was still curious to try it) and it was so good! Im craving it as I am writing this review. I would definitely go back and try their different ice cream creations.

Uniquely flavored ice cream choices that can be merged into several cookie options for a delightful ice cream sandwich. I love the interior design of the space which is shared with 2 other businesses. Only issue has been long waits on my Sunday visits. There has only been one staff person on a high foot traffic day in Old Town.

Unique flavors like Chicken and Waffles keep me coming back to this ice cream shop. With not many dessert spots open after dinner in Pasadena, Coolhaus is a good choice and a stroll away from any restaurant in Old Town. The cookies especially Chocolate Chip are great, too! Ask for as many samples as you like if you cant decide.

Ive been coming here with friends about twice a weak for these last few before we ask leave for college. Icecream is amazing, cookies are pretty good, this place is the full package. Flavors change almost daily, but I recommend honeycomb icecream with anything, or lemon sorbet and the vegan ginger cookies!

Really bland cookies. Hard. Almost stale. Also note, they claim to have gluten free cookies, but didnt when I got there. I had Coolhaus in their food truck variety more than a year ago and was so happy with the place. This brick and mortar version leaves much to be desired. Even our kids said, "meh."

Some unique ice cream flavors here. Can have them make your own ice cream cookie sandwiches. I really like the vibe here with the other dessert vendors. Good place to hang out off Colorado. Place could use more seating.

I got 2 scoops : Avacado and black sesame! It was delicious. I also love the commune style business in this building. Easy to get a slice of pie, a coffee, and ice cream when you want that lift up of comfort!

Nice ice cream shop right in Old Pas. Good mix of flavors. Service can be hit or miss. The interior is okay but feels kind of... incomplete. Overall though, definitely worth a visit if youre an ice cream fan.

Bring someone on a date here and get them a sandwich. It is delicious. Be adventurous and try flavors you normally would not. You will be surprised at what flavor might be your new favorite one.

Wish it were a little cheaper -- $5 for "one scoop" (really 2 small scoops with different flavors) in a cookie sandwich. Interesting delicious flavors!!
