Futuristic ice cream, its been a while since Ive been WOWed by food. Each delicacy is a spectacle to witness. They make each dessert fresh. For the blue velvet cupcake, they add a real blue velvet cupcake to their nitrogen concoction mix. Tons of smoke billowing, creating a dramatic way to make ice cream. Dragon breath is made from fruity pebbles crushed into larger pieces and soaked in nitrogen so that you can blow smoke like a dragon when eating them. The ice cream itself is creamy. Not a huge amount of flavor or sweetness but tons of texture and its so fun to watch and document. Parking is a couple blocks away, this place is located right in the heart of Little Tokyo.

Wow! What a thrill. I was there for around 30 minutes hoping for a wonderful experience there was cool smoke coming out and the ice cream looked amazing but there is one thing. There was 2 girls working the night shift Monday June 6. And 39 minutes waiting for our ice cream watching all the people that just walked in getting there ice cream. They lost our cup. We were waiting for so long to try the ice cream and they forgot our order and cup. They also did not even apologize for making this mistake. Horrible horrible horrible.

Its a pretty cool Spot for ice cream although I was really disappointed in their flavor variety. Its only their own custom flavors less than 10 and No Rocky Road!!! It was a nice experience to see them make the ice cream but Ill stick to Cold Stone. I tried the Strawberry flavor and with fresh strawberries mixed in it was pretty tasty. But for $6.50 for a Medium cup which in reality is a small because they only have "Medium and Large" Once again, Ill just stick to Cold Stone.

I came in for ice cream, but was not able to buy 3 different scoops in one bowl. Store policy does not permit this, only 3 scoops of the same kind. I asked the cashier if it was possible to maybe break the rule just this once, she wouldnt budge, oh well one less customer. Wow, try and buy 3 different scoops or even 5 at 6 bucks a scoop, make sure to bring extra cash. Would not recommend this location.

The approximate wait time is 30 minutes. I look at the counter and see at least 10 orders in front of mine and only two workers. They are very inefficient and need more employees. I was honestly thinking about putting a sign out front that says "wait time is 30 minutes at least". The coffee ice cream my mom got was nasty and we waited longer than thirty minutes. Horrible

The ice cream is good, not great. But the unique vibe blends art and science into a fun place thats definitely worth at least one trip. The ingredients are mixed together in a bowl while liquid nitrogen instantly super-freezes it into ice cream while spewing a cool fog all around. The selection is somewhat limited. I recommend going with Blue Velvet.

Its fun to see the jets of liquid nitrogen but unfortunately the ice cream was terrible. I ordered the vegan vanilla, the texture was icy and gritty. The ice cream had an overwhelming coconut soapy flavor that overpowered the vanilla. I dont normally have any problems with coconut milk. Ive heard other nitro ice cream places are better.

They make the ice cream right before your eyes! They make each order to order. Ice cream made fresh for every person, is insane but amazing. The staff was very friendly and explained to me every step of how they make the ice cream in front of you. Definitely a must if you are anywhere in the area.

Nice, hard, tasty ice cream. The taste isnt particularly out of this world, but this place is more about the experience. It would be a lot more fun if they actually dramatized the process a bit more rathe than looked as though they have the most boring job in the world.

The wait time is pretty bad seeing as I waited 20 minutes for a small ice cream. Somehow people who came in AFTER me got theres before mine. The price and size ratio is just sad. $5.50 for a medium. Small doesnt even exist. I can assure myself Im not going back.

The ice cream here is so freakin good. Pretty much every flavor here is great, and I havent been dissatisfied yet. Not quite sure how I havent walked out of here with tubs of it yet. Personal favorites are cucumber, passion fruit, and pomegranate.

"Molecular gastronomy" ice cream joint that uses liquid nitrogen to make ice cream. They make it in front of you. The ice cream comes out rich, dense, and has an EXCELLENT mouthfeel. Price is justified by preparation and ingredient cost.

Beware of the liquid nitrogen runs out. They kept lying to us customers about how long to change the tank, wouldnt give us refunds until i demanded one with other frustrated customers. Magically some manager appeared.

If looking for something rich and creamy, this place has exactly what youre looking for. If looking for something light and refreshing, their sorbets will hit the spot. It tastes very well. Highly recommended.

They make the icecream in front of you, but the downside is it takes quite a bit of time. The dragon balls arr very very good and the blue velvet nitrogen icecreeam is also amazing!!! Highlyrecommend!!!

It was ok. Nothing really special about the quality of the flavors. Cool concept. A lot of hype. They said they dont validate parking and I think that is bogus. We paid $10 on a Sunday for 49 min.

Blue velvet with mochi was perfect and such a fun color. Just the right amount of cupcake, not too much and not too little! Fresh taste with the best smooth, cold texture.
