Our most frequented spot in Palm Springs. It was right next to our hotel but I would have walked across town to get here every day. The bartenders always introduced themselves and even though it was a "locals" spot, they were all super friendly as well. Its "divey" but not salty at all if you know what I mean. We just drank beer, but the mixed drinks looked quite strong and I would imagine they were reasonably priced. We had a great time here. Hair of the Dog rocks.

This establishment physically assault a disabled man on his way out. He was walking with a cane out of the bar and a huge bouncer grabbed him and threw him out and then another big guy got on top of him. It was very scary! This place is dangerous. I would definitely not recommend anyone going there!

this is an awesome pub...way better than any i went to in dreary ole england!...when travelling i normally go to irish pubs but this was handy, fun, and full of locals and travellers.........ill be back when in palms springs, no worries.....see you on xmas day!.....

I have a long string of good nights here going back 4 years. I cant put my finger on exactly why, but every singly time I end up making great new friends from other places. The beer selection is great, and the prices are much less than Im used to. Love this place.

Love it! First bar I ever visited in Palm Springs. Not for someone looking for a trendy place, but if you are on your motorbike and need to get out of the heat and cold beer this is it. Michelle is the best bartender in the valley!

Great dive bar right across from the Hyatt. Bartenders are awesome and make a great pour. Plenty of TVs for sports and seats inside and out. Plenty of beers, but not the place if your looking for craft beers.

Hair of the Dog is a storied, long standing Bar that serves as THE locals Oasis; conveniently anchoring the center of Downtown Palm Springs. Stiff Pours and Divey atmosphere. Reasonably safe place.
