Dropped into SoCal Pizza for lunch with a group from work. The menu at SCP features a selection of pizza, pastas, and sandwiches, a decent selection. The establishment is a basic sports bar, a few video games and several flat screen TVs around the room, a long bar, and plenty of seating. The environment is oddly lit, dark in some spaces, spotlighted in others, a dive bar feeling, but not in a good way. However, the employees were friendly, courteous, and attentive. They add a great deal to an otherwise drab environment. Onto the food, its alright. I had a lunch special that consisted of a foot long meatball sandwich, a side salad, and a drink for $9, a decent value. The salad was good, everything you would expect, nothing out of the ordinary. The meatball was also rather middle of the road. It was better than a meatball from Subway, but not up to par with other quality meatball sandwiches Ive enjoyed. The meatballs were a little under seasoned and I would have liked a little more of a solid crustiness on the bread. Overall, a decent value.

pizza was OK soda was flat had to complaint to them about that, The service was sort of confusing, reason being, is we ordered a family meal with pizza,wings, and salad family size, when they brought the salad they gave us a small to go size thousands island for everyone, That thing is size for 1 person maybe 2, but yet they walked around asking if everything was OK and the first time they came by , we werent OK but after that they kept checking making sure we were OK, So Honestly mixed feelings. Environment was cool SO I GIVE A 3 STAR IT WAS OK. But then end of the night was cool they where giving away prizes for some sports questions asked, and I WON ONE LOL, had to mention that .

Not that great. Its mediocre at best. Came in here for lunch on a monday and the service was blah. They were nice, but a little more enthusiasm would have been good. The waiters were a little awkward.The pizza is ok, just ok .it doesnt meet the taste of the old Frantones pizza that used to be there. Id come back only if i were stranded and didnt have a ride to go anywhere else. The crust is nice and crispy, but the pizza is really soggy and the cheese and toppings fall off the slice. I really wish it would have been great and i could tell all of my friends how good it was and how we should go eat there sometime, but i just didnt have that type of eating experience here.

Im a bit torn...This used to be Frantones, okay. I get it. I gave this place a shot, a couple times. Very different atmosphere, definitely a sports bar. The pizza was good. I picked up a slice, put it in my mouth, turned my head to see the cashier with both hands down the back of his pants scratching his ass cheeks. It was a bit unappetizing to say the least. I get it, just go itch it in the restroom and wash your hands with soap. Ive been in the service industry, have some decency please. The 2 stars is because the pizza was OK. Actually the ass scratching with the food he served me with his hands makes me want to hurl. 1 star, a zero

Besides the delicious food and the amazing micro brew selection, the staff is extremely friendly and polite. Ive been coming here atleast once a month for over a year. Mike the bartender, is very knowledgable in the different beer they offer which is always an interesting conversation. Its always great to stop by for a quick cold one. Cant say enough good things about So Cal Pizza. Best Pizza and beer in Norwalk hands down. According to my wife and a couple co-workers, the best Micheladas in town made by Rick. Try this place once and youll be back gauranteed! Cheers!

Pizza was a bit heavy and oily, but thats what happens when you use real ingredients. Ive had most of the food there except the salads (i dont eat salads) everything is pretty good. Great beer selection. They make great michiladas. Lots of tvs, also games for the kids. Bit on the pricey side. But Still its one of my usual goto places for going out.

Disappointing. Loved Frantones at this location growing up. Ordered over the phone for pick up, came in to purchase and the workers were unhelpful and talking to one another, not friendly or courteous to me. Pizza was way over priced and not great quality. I recommend going somewhere else. Downey pizza company or pizzamania instead ...

I order a pizza n they burn the crust. So they made another pizza. N when I went to get a slice of pizza I found a piece of hair. So I call back n complain about it. They said next order on them. Im never going get pizza from them. It just gross me out.

Cool place just need a better set up on purchasing ur drink with food instead of bouncing line to line to order and dont forget about the incuviniance of getting up to order another drink like if ur at a concert instead of s restaurant

Great taste, quality ingredients equal a great value. Cool classic pizza atmosphere with games for the kid in all of us. Ice cold beer and soda with a wide selection of items to order. Super nice staff completes the experience!

The owner was very accommodating to our short notice for a softball team event on a UFC fight night. Great, great pizza and good variety of dishes not just pizza. Sweet chili wings were addicting.

Love the turkey sandwhich, pizza is good too, but it gets very noisy here on the weekends when they bring in the local kids sport teams.
