Islands has become a place where my friends and I come together to celebrate wether its a birthday or graduation. I always look foward to coming here because its filled with happy memories. Everytime we come here our waitress/ waiter is absolutely amazing, which is a major reason why we keep coming, they are all very welcoming and friendly. Sadly today has been my worst experience at this Islands. Today was my girlfriends graduation celebration and it was all ruined by the horrible service we got from our waiter Jason. From the moment we all sat down his unwelcoming gestures and downright rude tone made it clear he did not like us. Which I cant even begin to understand seeing as to how we hadnt even been at the table for 2 minutes. He was completely unprofessional and made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. I have to say I work in the food industry and I know how hard the job can be especially when you are waiting on a big group. That being said there is no reason why Jason needed to act so hostile towards our group. And yet even after all this was going on we still tried to be nice to Jason. Funny thing is towards the end of our meal when we made it clear to him we werent happy, he started to be a "nice" guy. Nice try Jason, but you are tad too late. Thank you for this disastrous experience. I still think the rest of the staff is great; Alex the manager was very understanding when we told him about our experience I feel like he took everything I said into deep consideration and this is the only reason why I would even consider coming back to this Islands in particular. My only advice is to Jason and that is that I get it if you had a bad day and maybe we got the worse end of the stick but keep it together sir or look for another profession.

I have been their twice and food is great services great! I really had no complaints but the second time I went I payed with credit and I put no tip on the receipt because I like giving cash but I had no change, so I was going to go ask the cashier for change but when I was getting up she came up to us and asked why didnt we give her a tip that if she did something wrong, I told her no and I was going to go get change I really didnt want to give her a tip after how she asked but I felt sorry! I thought it was so disrespectful they shouldnt be asking for a tip! When she was such in a rush to get my signature on the receipt I forgot her name!..but in my head I was just shocked no waiter has ever done that!

I just had lunch there with my sister and her boyfriend . I had to use the restroom before leaving and while there an idiot ... a guy walked inside the ladies restroom while I was using it and went to the stool next to mine and started to use it , he was standing that is how I realized it was a guy next to me... I got so scared and run out , before I could think what to do he just got out and walk away. I told the people that work there, the guy at the front and he said that they dont have control over that so nothing they could do about it

I love this Islands! Located in a huge lot off Rinaldi in Porter Ranch, parking is always easy to find. There are a bunch of other stores (big and small) in the same complex if you need to run errands. Islands does get busy during lunch and dinner times. Theres a bar area that seems to usually (though not always) have seating available. Small beer selection (tap and bottle). Mixed drinks. Wine that Id stay away from. The food is pretty standard for an Islands. Decor is surf-influenced. Its fine to show up in shorts and sandals.

Great time celebrating my dads birthday But I have to say hands down the Hawaiian Burger was totally worth the wait First time ordering it and I couldnt have been happier eating it!! :3 Got the Kona Pie to top it all off and wow... Im in love with this place - thank you for the experience and atmosphere, making my dads birthday memorable for me (:

I went here with a buddy of mine not to long ago, and it was just okay. I got a pineapple teriyaki burger, and I wasnt to impressed. I felt the quality of the food was about that of Carls Jrs grilled teriyaki burger, which I can get two of for five dollars. I felt it was over priced for what I got. The service was friendly, but my experience just fell short of what I was hoping for. I would probably only go back if a friend really wanted to go.

Islands is one of my favorites restaurants for burgers. They have great tasting burgers and fries. I love coming here if I just want a simple burger for lunch or dinner. I have visited this location over the years and the service has always been great. This location is very convenient because it is located in a large shopping center with plenty of parking.

I love their buffalo wings because it is soo good to eat and the sauce on the wings is what really hits thee spot. Their nachos are also very good because they make the cheese so good and with their spicy chicken makes it the best.!!! Highly Recommend Islands as one of my favorite restaurants ever. And no other restaurant will beat Islands!!!

Tonight was great. The manager even came out and asked if we needed anything. We asked him for water. I happened to wonder to myself if he would bring it or if hed send a waiter. Nope. He went and got it and brought it back himself. That was nice. Well waited on by multiple servers. Nice atmosphere. Not over done.

Had a fish burger with fries. Never had a fish burger before but I will again. Also had the Les Gourmandises for desert and I too will be having that again. Only four stars because the service wasnt all that great. Combined with the overly busy atmosphere(not enough servers?) I have to knock it down a notch.

Place was nice, with interesting design, good customer service, food was ok, I got flour tacos with chicken and teriyaki sauce, too much teriyaki, got saggy really quick, and my friend had fried fish tacos they were really dry but margarita was good. Outdoor patio really nice for warm weather.

Probably one of the best burger restaurants to join. I love ordering something different and the fries are all you can eat and comes in HUGE quantities. You cant do wrong by that. Good Stuff and gives you a great island feel for those missing the hawaiian islands as much as I do. I miss oahu. a

This place is so great! We come here on Valentines day and our wedding anniversary with the family every year! Food is delicious and cocktails are the best. Host and waited very friendly and food is on time and just like ordered! Always coming back.
