I was informed from the employees that Sagebrush has new European owners and they have no clue on how to run the place. I have been going to SageBrush for years. I have spent so much money there and introduced so many people to that place. I have always appreciated the relax layed back atmosphere on Sundays in the beautiful Sunny Summer Cali heat. This Sunday when I went there I was informed that you can no longer where tank tops on sundays there. I was disappointed for getting there and having no other shirt and having no choice but to leave. I spoke with the manager and he was very helpfull in giving me a XXL SageBrush shirt that I got to where as a dress. Never the less I played by the rules, payed my entrance fee and sat down with my friends and began to enjoy my sunday. Next thing I notice at the table next to me this nice big biker guy was sitting there in a tank top drinking his beer. At first thought I figured he just slipped through the cracks. As I look around more I then see seven more people wearing tank tops. At this point I say what the heck, I take off my free t-shirt and sport my tank top. I order a $20 pitcher of margarita and every thing is fantastic. About an hour later the security gaurd comes up to me and asked me to please put my shirt on because they dont allow tank tops in here. I then ask him with all do respect, why is it I have to wear a shirt and everyone else can where tank tops and jerseys? He tells me that no one else is wearing tank tops. My friends and I then point out four other people we see from or advantage point in which whom are all wearing tank tops. He then says, well, those are tank tops, what you are wearing is a wife-beater. So I say fine, Ill put the shirt back on. So we get this wonderfull idea on this hot summer day. Lets just do what all these other bikers have done and cut the sleeves off. Lets enjoy our beautiful whether. So after sporting my new sleeveless sagebrush t-shirt the head of security then asks me if he can speak to me outside. So I kindly get up and follow him to the door. He tells me that they tried to be nice and give me a tshirt and I had to tear it and now I have to leave. I point out that everyone has torn tshirts here. He states that I look rediculous and then now dont want me there anymore at all. Very dissappointed, I then tell him to just let me finish my $20 pitcher of watered down margarita and Ill take off. He says i can pound it real quick but I must leave now. I ask for my money back and he refuses. Then after the escort me off the premisses I find out that my bike is blocked in by other bikes. I ask valet to please move them and they tell me that they cant and I must wait until the people blocking me leave before I can go. So to recap, I cant stay there, I cant finish my overpriced drink, and I cant leave. Hmmmm...... That is what I call a fantastic Sunday. So in closure, if you enjoy spending loads of money at a place where they dont give a damn about you whether you support them or not, then this is the place for you. On the other side if you are like me and would like to spend your hard earned money at a place that actually appreciates it then you really should think twice about coming here. Life has enough rules, your sunday kick back spot shouldnt.

The food was very mediocre and the service was slow as well, but mainly we had a probably with a misunderstanding about a charge for a food item we ordered. We asked our server if they could split one fajita half chicken and half steak. Our server said they could, but when we received our bill we were charged an extra fee for this split. We asked our server to explain the extra fee and from her explanation it was clear that there was a misunderstanding between us. We asked her to show us the menu to try and clear up the misunderstanding. There was no half chicken half steak fajita on the menu. We then asked to speak with a manager when it was clear she wasnt going to reverse the extra fee. The manager proceeded to argue with us that this was a very common order and that most people just accepted the extra fee. Now Ive worked in my share of restaurants and usually when theres a minor misunderstanding between the restaurant and the customer the customer is usually given the benefit of the doubt. Its called good customer service. The server never mentioned an extra fee and if she didnt understand what we were ordering she shouldve asked us to clarify. We will never recommend or go to this restaurant again.

My wife and I have been going to Sagebrush Cantina for over 30 years. I have also hosted business functions there. The food and service has always been good. Well, tonight was such an exception. After waiting almost 45 minutes for our food, we asked for a manager because our waiter had stopped coming to the table, or even the area, because the food was not coming. When the manager came to our table, he disagreed with how long we were waiting but said he would check on our food. Five minutes later, the food finally came out. It was good as usual. When we were done we sat twiddling our thumbs waiting for our check, but of course it did not come. The vanishing waiter had vanished again. We sent my son looking for him and after a few rounds of the restaurant, he was found. It took another few minutes for him to finally come to the table. We were very disappointed with the horrible service and the argumentative manager. This when the restaurant was almost empty with the exception of the band area. Sadly, it looks like we will have to cross Sagebrush off of our favored restaurant list.

I Made reservations for fathers day for myself and my family of 14 people and my daughter, and the food was really bad, the enchiladas were really cold, the tortillas were really cold, food just seemed to be left overs, we had to ask like 4 times if someone can go add more fruit to the buffet because non of my family ate any food because of how cold and stale everything was and we couldnt even get fruit because there wasnt any, the total of the bill was around $450 dollars and the best thing was the water, the overall experience was just horrible, I took my whole family there and I was upset that I disappointed them by taking them to this place, we paid for pretty much left over food, ruined fathers day. No matter what time it is you should always have fresh hot food or atleast put up a sign that the food is going to be leftovers from a certain time on, so that we dont have to pay full price for left over food and a couple slices of melon, if it was up to me I wouldnt even give this place half a star.
