I had breakfast at KF on Sepulveda this morning. I go there occasionally as I like grits. I noticed the large cinnamon rolls in the case and took a look. There were a lot of flies walking on them. I had an OK breakfast, eggs over cooked, no coffee refill until I balanced my empty cup on the edge of my table at the end. While paying on the way out, I counted the flies on the cinnamon rolls. There were a minimum of 12. I told the server/cashier and said that I would be surprised if anyone would buy them. He said thank you and went on with his routine. There were prostitutes walking by on the sidewalk, but that is not their fault. There is a sleazy motel next door and a nude club across the street. The KF in Simi Valley has always been very good.

I love this breakfast place. It is a bit of a whole on the wall and you have to make compromise on the devour because it is a bit outdated. However the food makes up for it. The prices are a bargain for the amount of delicious food. You most likely will take some home when you dont finish. Even though the sizes are big the taste is not compromised. The biscuits and gravy are supper fluffy and creamy. The sandwiches are crispy and well cooked. They even have options that are healthier if you feel a bit guilty for eating the biscuits. I recommend you give them a try because they are able to compete in terms of flavor with those big breakfast chains out there. And they will most likely beat the prizes and size portions for delicious breakfast.

Ive been coming to kountry folks since I was little. The food is done right, the service is fantastic and I dont think Ive ever had a bad meal here. What I like about this place is you can literally ask for anything. To test how far theyd go, I asked them for deep fried bacon, which I know is horribly bad for you, but sure enough they did it. The only down side is if you are vegan, gluten free or dairy free, your choices will be severely limited. If you have food sensitivities, I wouldnt bother coming. Sadly, I am dairy/corn free and my wife is gluten/dairy free. That being said, I can only relish in memory the wonderful food they have.

Dont be fooled by its location. I mean sure it may be on the corner of a "ghetto" street, but once you walk into this restaurant youre pleasantly surprised with fast, cozy customer service & amazingly antique decor. Everything from their old school wallpaper to their original, yet comfy booth seats gave me the feeling that I was home! I was seriously breath-taken by my overall experience here; to think that I have been driving past this place for years is mind boggling to me. This is now my go-to brunch place, try their french toast on raisin nut bread and be impressed by its quality and affordability!

People that have complained on here are usually folks who have no patience. Idk about you but Id rather wait a few minutes and make sure my food is prepared correctly. I ordered the Breakfast burrito the first time I came in and this thing was a DAMN BEAST! HOLY SMOKESZ! I ordered mine with chorizo and the flavor was simply amazing! Overall the food was a 4.5 stars, the service was good until I saw a few employees arguing and complaining. I was just like JERRY JERRY JERRY! I will definitely return to this place and maybe make it my sunday morning start! Great diner!

This place is ok. The food isnt really that great but its cheap especially if you want to take out a large group and dont want to drop hundreds of dollars. I think the best items in the menu are the breakfast items. The coffee is really weak but they will refill often at least. Seems like the last few times Ive been here the waiters have been getting my order wrong. I only really recommend this place if you are going out with a large group. Dont take a date here unless your idea of nice is a view of strip clubs and a shared parking lot with a shadey motel.

Went today for Thanksgiving. It seemed like they were understaffed because it took about 10 minutes to get seated and restaurant wasnt full. Regardless we waited and once we got seated everything was amazing. Amazing quick service and the drink and food was brought out very fast. Our waiter was very friendly and super quick. He refilled our drink often as well. We tried the turkey dinner and it was amazing. The pumpkin pie was to die for delicious! It was my first time trying this place out and I highly recommend it.

This place in the eighties used to be fantastic for breakfast. Now I will never go back I said this once before but had to try it again because my father-in-law is a redneck butt I was right I will never go back to this expensive breakfast joint foods not good takes forever to get it takes forever for the waitress to come to you to get an order so when she comes order immediately she wont be back its expensive its not good and its very run down and has a grimey atmosphere

I called Kountry Folks because my son has a food allergy and i asked if they had an alllergy packet that lets u know the ingredients.the manager was extremely rude.i asked if she could read the ingredients on the hamburger bun bag and look for eggs she ssid no she told me to go eat somewhere else because she doesnt know in the middle of my question she hung up on me...I was practically in tears...she treated me very bad...

This being my only visit here, Im hoping it was just a fluke. Came in for breakfast and the food was just NOT GOOD. Biscuits and gravy were store bought and small. The whites of my eggs on my eggs benedict were completely runny; barely cooked at all. Like I said, hopefully just one bad experience. The service was excellent though! Im gonna try it again and update my review. Until then...

Good morning. Well I never been to this part of California. My brother n I sat down expecting friendly service and the waitress was rude from the start and all she did was bring us our coffee. The.atmosphere is cozy, because of the 1st impression my brother and I left without taking a sip of coffee. More than likely Ill never Ill never have to pass though this part of California.

Been coming here for over 20 years for delicious comfort food. Breakfast, lunch or dinner always good. Prices are reasonable for food, fast & super friendly service. 3 generations strong & happy customers. Carol, Roberto & the rest of the staff make you feel welcomed the whole time you are there. Steak & eggs, corned beef hash & something about their sourdough toast. Yummy!

I always feel at home when I come to Kountry Folks. Imagine walking into a Diner in the 50`s or 60s, is the type of vibe you catch here. The biscuits and gravy are buttery and warm, but in a good way. Oh and yes, definitely get a giant cinnamon roll. Necessary. The waiters and waitresses are also pleasant with excellent customer service.

Service was bad, I call and order on the phone an the guy doesnt understand my request. They still charge me a lot and no cheese was added to my burger. The guy doesnt do anything to improve my experience I guess Im going to start going less and less to this nasty unprofessional place. Sorry Manager, you know Im not lying at all.
