Waitress and music are great. Everyone had a great time. Then I tried to talk to a security guard on the way out (mind you I was not asked to leave, escorted out, or did anything wrong)to just have a normal conversation (no I was not drunk no causing problems) all the sudden the (I would assume) lead security (he was the only one in a black shirt) threatened to pepper spray me with 3 other security guards. Seems a little unreasonable to me for just wanting to talk to someone. I was then asked to exit the property which I respected their wishes and did. To go to this extreme for a first time guest is a little unreasonable. I would never treat anyone with as little respect as these gentleman treated me. As a business owner myself I would like to know if my employees we treating paying customers with such disrespect. I will never return to this place again. Yes it is a good time as are most country bars, however I would recommend you go elsewhere. Thank you for your hospitality

The security guys here are a joke that have a bully mentality. I watched 10 guys basically take a guy down and slam his head on the ground for being drunk. Apparently they dont understand that once the guy is outside the bar it is no longer your problem, yet even when he was in the parking lot, they continued to assault him. I have been going here off and on for years and used to be a cool place but has just basically turned into a place where the security causes all the problems and should be arrested. Jim and Monique are great but I dont think they know what happens when they arent there. Great bartenders and some of the waitresses are awesome except one who thinks that because she works there, that makes her boyfriend a security staff. If you are looking for a place to have fun without being disrespected, avoid the Water Wheel.

No foreigners allowed. I was in Norco visiting friends. I dont live in the US although I spend at least 3 months of the year here with work. I could not buy a drink here because they do not accept foreign drivers licences or non US passports as ID. So my ID is valid for Homeland Security to allow me into the country but not valid to buy a drink here. This is ridiculous and seemed to be motivated by racism. Ive drank in thousands of American bars and restaurants over the last couple of decades and never encountered this before. Go to the Sore Saddle Saloon instead, much friendlier staff and a much nicer establishment with far superior atmosphere. As an International Lawyer I am investigating this.

OMGoodness !! What can I say about this awesome place !! Love their free line dancing classes, they know how to treat their customers, good food, full bar, friendly people, great dancers, the service and music are great too !! I love everything about this place !! In fact I have to say its a safe place !! One evening I came to celebrate my friend Giselles Birthday, I went to the bathroom and I forgot my wallet in there with cash, credit cards, AAA card and more !! All I had to do was to ask the bartender about it !! He said: here you go Miss !! One of our customers saw it and brought it to me !! How cool is that ? I recommend this place highly !! Its like a second home to me :-) Love it ;-)

Everything is great only if you accept poor service, improperly cooked food, and rude waitresses who dont take a complaint well when they are not doing a good job. They are not customer service oriented. It seems that they are all related so they stick up for each other and support their inappropriate behavior. They have enough people that go there, spend their money, so they really could care about the one unhappy person. So I thought when I went to yelp and read some of the reviews.

Water Wheel is our Go To place for the best service, the best atmosphere and the best Triple Tip. The owners Jim and Monique Crain are two of the most loving and caring people Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. They have always supported my daughter Cheyennes fund raising efforts in her battle against Cystic Fibrosis. They bring a personal touch to their business. They water down drinks. Im from Tennessee and only drink Jack. The bartender finished her bottle of jack... poured "the rest" (where I couldnt see). It wasnt jack and then she had the manager open a new bottle. Of course they threw a fit when I asked why it tasted funny! Very sub par. Go to mavericks!

Absolutely love this place! Amazing bartenders, love our DJ and the regulars. Dance floor is perfect for line dancing. Lessons on tues, thurs-sats starting at 7pm. Playing country music at country bar... Big shock I know. If you think the staff is rude, maybe its because youre insufferable

I just had my 50th surprise birthday here. Best birthday ever !!!! They let my family set up everything. Our waitress was awesome. The music and dancing was amazing. I had the best time. Thank you Water Wheel and my family and friends. Special shout out to my daughter Jaime.

Not the biggest place. Live music on the weekends. Dance floor is a little on the small side. Yummy food, but only in the earlier hours of the evenings
