This is not a restaurant I would recommend! My husband and I had a very unfortunate experience there and will not be going back. We bought a groupon online that we were very excited to use. After we arrived and were seated the waitress asked for the groupon, but when I reached for my phone she abruptly stated it had to be printed out and that it would not be accepted on the phone (even though it states on the groupon it can be redemed either by phone or on paper). She suggested we drive hom (45 min round trip) to retrieve it. Date nigh out take two: we arrive back at the restaurant, have some decent food, more poor service, and receive our bill of $7 because the groupon covered the rest. My husband hands her our check card which she refused to take and states they do not accept transactions less than $10, but dont worry she was happy to charge us more than we owed because we didnt have any other form of payment. Thinking back I wish I had made a scene and asked for the manager or just refused to pay but hopefully this review will help me sleep at night.

The food was quite good, the service was fast and fine, and the prices are reasonable. Based on all that, it would be 4 stars at least. However, theyre only open a few hours each evening. I found them closed at 5 pm when they are supposed to be open. The next night, I tried 7 pm and they were open. I was the only customer. Probably because they dont get many customers, they didnt have some items listed on the menu. They didnt have the sausage that was to accompany a pork dish I first ordered, so I changed to salmon. They also didnt even have the listed raspberry iced tea. As I said, the food I got was really good, both the salad and the salmon. The bread was a disappointing plain white bread.

This was a very bad dinner. Got there and first thing we ordered was calamari, which we were told they were out of. Italian food place offered no bread at all. Bruschetta was toast with cheese and a slice of tomato. Worst part was entrees. I had linguini with chicken and my wife had ravioli. Seriously tasted like the were frozen dinners that they had just microwaved. Only found this place through groupon and I would never return. Would rather have McDonalds for dinner. I feel bad having to say this being it was a small place but it is what it is.

Villa Romano seems to have changed ownership during the past year, and when we went the service was excellent. As was the cuisine. There is a large parking lot, so if you just locate Soscol Ferry Road youll be parked and dining faster than, in your parallel universe, finding a parking spot at dinner time in Napa or Sonoma. This place is great value if you use a discount voucher, as I did. Its truly a good idea to dine here after a long afternoon wine tasting or hiking while waiting for that traffic to let up a bit for your drive home.

Food was really delicious. My sisters and I went there last night and were worried when we arrived to an empty restaurant at 7:00 pm on a Monday evening. We decided to give it a try and were more than delighted with the excellent tasting food. The bruschetta was delicious as was the tortellini which was one of our entrees, but the piece de resistance mahi and prawns entree which was nothing short of outstanding. We highly recommend it.

At the southern end of the valley, this old house has been converted into a great Italian restaraunt. Starting with a salad with pear based dressing, may have been one of the best salads I have had, it surprises your taste buds. The 2 dishes we had were fantastic. The value is great and the food excellent. Friendly service off the beaten Napa valley path. Will definitely visit again.

1. They wont let you use the full discount coupon you have. Why? Idk. 2. Ordered the fettuccini, I wasnt able to taste the sauce, had no flavor. 3. Took 15-25 minutes to allow us to pay, had to get up and stand in the front for service to pay(there was only 2 other customers) 4. The sprite was good tho

Service is slow. The glass of merlot was okay. Crab cakes had no flavor and tasted soggy, calamari was mediocre, verde salad was okay but the grapefuit in it was gross, tomato soup was good. Overall I dont reccomend this place, and I wont return. Flund this place on Groupon.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. The wife the tortellini which was very good and I had the veal ravioli and unfortunately that had way too much pepper in it and thats all I taste it the rest of the evening.

This was some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The service was friendly, hospitable, and very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. The tortellini was delicious. I wanted to lick the cream sauce off the plate. Definitely worth going.

Nearly empty when we visited late on a Tuesday. Our food was great, especially the roasted red pepper and tomato soup. Super value compared to the eateries in town and only minutes from our resort.

Perfect out of the way restaurant. We walked down from the Tesla charger (little bit of walking on side of road). Feels like modern Italy, even the menu has the look and feel.
