I have been wanting to stop by Canton after a coworker recommended it. So I stopped in to carry out some dinner at 7:30. When I arrived, I was a little surprised at how limited the seating was. But most people appeared to be carrying out food so there were seats available. The hot food looked fresh and well prepared. I ordered the 2 entre combo for $7.49 (drink not included) with garlic chicken and kung pow chicken. I also wanted to try the cheese wontons (made with imitation crab) and received 6 for $4.95. I had to wait a few minutes for the wontons to cook, but that was fine. I paid with my debit card and they let me know there is a $0.30 charge for this. The staff were very friendly and kind, and I appreciated the warning. When I got home and began to eat, I wasnt sure which chicken was which. But I was sure Id be able to tell pretty quick. Unfortunately, it seemed I was eating orange chicken and orange chicken with chili peppers. No garlic flavor and no heat could be found anywhere in my entrees. The wontons were ok, but the sweet & sour sauce and teriyaki sause they had in cups at the register were not quite made correctly, especially the teriyaki sauce. In summary, you get quick food at a decent price. If you you dont care about how it tastes, then you will leave pretty satisfied. For me, I firmly believe that the difference in good vs bad Americanized Chinese food is the sauce.

I just ordered a 2 combo dinner.....orange chicken and sweet & sour. Orange chicken was good but my sweet and sour was not edible. It was dry and over cooked. I have been eating at this place for years and I have to say, it always had me coming back. Needless to say, I wont be a customer anymore. The boxes have been cut in half, prices have increased, food has gone down hill along with the portion size. Another great place that has gone to the birds..... good luck. A loss customer.

Ive been going here for about 25 yrs now!!! I used to work for the cable company in the area and would go here a lot. The food is ALWAYS fresh and REALLY TASTY...Its still my favorite Chinese place but now I have to drive from Beaumont (20 min), worth the drive every time !!! They only have a few tables to sit at, its more like a take out place with the food layed out under the glass so you need to go a little before lunch or after if U need a table.

Great tasting, fresh food. A good variety of dishes. Very reasonable prices. The restaurant is well kept and clean. The staff is friendly. The manager is very professional. You can see that he treats customers with respect and he is nice to the employees. So many other places the managers are yelling and unprofessional and the employees are stressed out. It is pleasant to come here. I eat here every time Im in the area.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! But one will do, for the cashier who was very polite. I dont understand how they have a rating of 4.4. Their food was a big DISAPPOINTMENT! The rice was hard, food didnt taste all that great, small portions of food, and they screwed up my wonton order, not once but TWICE! FIRST AND LAST time ever coming here.

I dont know where the rest of these people ate, but this place is not good. I tried both the orange and garlic chicken and they were both tasteless and gooey. Noodles were to soft and tasteless. The rice was old. Chinese food from a box would have been better. Rating D -

I used to go their 5 years ago and +! I so hope its the same owners! I moved out of state 5 years and 1 month ago and still havent had Chinese food like theirs! its out of this world! big bundle for a very inexpensive price and amazing flavors!

I used to come here a lot in high school mainly because they served a ton of food and it was incredibly cheap. If you are on a budget this is the place to go. Its not the best Chinese food but its pretty good
