I just love Sonic and their milkshakes and tots! I have only gone once to their location in Mission Viejo, I usually used to go to their locations in Fullerton. Now the Mission Viejo location is more convenient so decided to give them a try. The location looks new and is not very crowded given it was a Friday night. We ordered milkshakes and chili cheese fries and they were good. The only reason why I would give this place a 4 star rating is because we had to move spots twice before they could take our order. I believe one of the spots already had a cone on it to stop people from parking there so we parked elsewhere and that one wasnt working either. After they asked us to move we went to a second one and that one was not working either. Not that this is the workers fault but it was a bit annoying to have to keep moving parking spots. I still like Sonic and will most likely go back again.

I hadnt been to a Sonic in years, and after going the other night, I now remember why. Flat soda. Uninspired, bland chili. "All beef" hot dogs that taste like theyre cheap turkey and have almost no flavor. A "toaster" with texas "toast" that they didnt actually toast. A grilled chicken sandwich that smelled like a cat box that hasnt been changed in a few weeks. It tasted like salmonella poisoning waiting to happen. Now, the manager did switch out that chicken sandwich for a hotdog and fries at no charge. Too bad the fries were undercooked and cold. Oh, and the ice cream tasted gritty like the soft-serve you find at cheap Chinese buffets. However, the service was quick, and my tater tots were hot and delicious. But that doesnt make up for the rest of it. Sorry, Sonic. Not coming back.

I ordered popcorn chicken and some drinks, and specified I wanted BBQ sauce when I ordered. My food arrived and I was not given straws or the BBQ sauce. I asked for them, and proceeded to wait 15 minutes before someone could be bothered. This is just unacceptable. It should not take longer to grab things sitting on a shelf than it took to cook and prepare the food

Understandably, not everyones experiences are going to be good ones. Mine have ALWAYS been good, thank goodness. GREAT food and drinks...cherry limeades ROCK! Service is (usually) fast and courteous. GO SONIC! I do find Ryans comment about the dirty kitchen to be disarming, however. I may have to check that out.

Sonics needs older employees. all of them are kids with bad attitudes I declined after I was told I couldnt take money with a card!! if sonics doesnt allow this then they need to fix this. you will lose a lot of customers this way especially here around Mission Viejo in the Aliso vejo.

If I can give a no star I would. People here are not friendly. Ive seen the kids have whip cream fights while they have people in the drive thru. I waited over 10 mins at the pull up station just for a drink, while the drive thru moved. Worst Sonics EVER. DONT EAT HERE.

The food was good but the whole experience felt a bit hectic. It took a long time to get our food. They said the ketchup and ranch were in the bag and when we got home there wasnt any of either. They didnt have drink holders and we had about ten drinks.

Chicken sandwich tasted and felt like rubber. Went a few days later thinking it has to be better. It wasnt. Few days later got a chili hot dog. They put a spoonful of chili on about 1/4th of it and the dog tasted like it was microwaved with the bun.

Good drinks and great deal for happy hour after 2pm. Used drive up in parked and wait time for just a drink was 12 minutes. They apologized for the wait but it seems they are short on help. The wait in the drive through was 6 cars, counted.

I understand people make mistakes. I got the BBQ Chicken Sandwhich for lunch today. They forgot to put the bacon and cheese on it. They were so helpful to fix it without any questions asked, Thanks for always be a great fast food joint!

Server was so nice was very impressed. Pricing is reasonable. Popular so can get busy. There are outside tables if you would prefer. Relaxing to get a chili dog and eat in my car. LOLz, walked an extra 15mins later.

They say theyre open till midnight... They were closed at 11:30 and there were employees inside.. When we arrived they closed the lights on me! They couldnt even say they were closed.
