A great place to grab a quick bite, Mendocino Farms offers a la carte sandwiches and salads made with locally sourced ingredients. My favorites are: Kurobuta Pork Belly Banh Mi: The pork belly is caramelized and has minimal to almost no fat. The housemade pickled daikon & carrots help cut through the richness of the meat. Jalapeño adds a nice bite and the cucumbers a cooling effect. Vegan Dosa: A different approach to a Masala Dosa, this one is wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla, or as I call it a Mexican Roti. Similar flavors are at play with coconut curried cauliflower mash and Tamarind and mint chutney. Braised jackfruit adds a meaty texture and fills out this vegan dish to make it filling. Kale Caesar: A salad that doesnt feel like punishment. Hearty kale is mixed with tender butter lettuce and crisp romaine. The lemon Parmesan vinaigrette packs flavor without weighing this salad down. Crispy wheatberries, red onions, grape tomatoes, and avocado add dimension. Add chicken if you need extra protein. PB3: this one is on the secret menu and only occasionally available. Gooey, crunchy, salty, sweet this is the holy grail of a peanut butter sandwich. It has house made peanut butter, bacon, crispy apples, caramelized bananas and honey roasted almonds all on panini grilled bread. Its decadent, its messy, and elusive but if its available it will not dissapoint. Also any sandwich can be made into a salad, ask for their dressing recommendation. They have yet to fail me. Call ahead or visit their website for their sides and soup selection. Everything is made fresh so running out of an item is a possibility. If you are dead set on getting something and its later in the day its worthy calling ahead. Beverages include craft beer, Pucks made with real sugar sodas, lemonade, juice and milk for the childrens menu. Indoor seating is limited, large groups may need to split. There is outdoor seating but it is shared with the other eateries.

Oh wow is what I uttered for the next 15 minutes after i took my first bite. When you walk in after whats sure to be a 10-15 minute wait everything sounds amazing, when you order you get to chat about preferred customization of the sandwiches and such. Pork Belly Banh Mi? is this place Vietnamese? No, is it Fusion? No, but its freaking good. Lemongrass steak, oh yeah thats whats up. They let us sample a Dijon potato salad that would have been an amazing had i not been so distracted by the natural homemade sodas and a pretty girl waiting with me for our food. The lettuce is the usual thinly sliced/shredded variety and not the hand leafed i was expecting, the sauces were hinting, but perfectly simple and complimentary. Parking lot sucks especially on weekends and the menu is a little too trendy with quips and non sense on the menu. The crowd can be trendy in that people come here to eat, do a little socializing, no bring you laptop and study like its a Starbucks for hours(btw is not actual studying and everyone knows your trying too hard with your apple products wishing you were cool to anyone but you). Come here for the food, not to be seen, all you trendy Angelinos, unless your a true yelper.

Yum yum, I had the prosciutto and chicken panini and it was really good. The ciabatta bread was perfectly toasty and all the ingredients tasted super fresh. oooh yea, get some of the jalapeno relish on the side! I traded half of my sandwich for my friends half of her steak sandwich. It turned out to be the Blue Cow Steak Cobb, which has blue cheese in it..... blehhhhhhhhhh! Instant regret. I picked out the blue cheese and had no problem eating the rest, and what I thought was amazing, again, was the bread! This sandwich had sliced bread, and it was so soft and chewy. We were offered samples of the sides and salads (awesome!) and they were all pretty good but I think my favorite was the curry couscous. Great service too! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

The food is pretty darn good. What is not good is the lack of convenient ordering options. There is no online ordering system, fine. But because of this, when you call in an order for weekday lunch youre on hold for an unacceptable amount of time. I was on hold for over 12 minutes (never once speaking to a live person) before my coworkers and I gave up and went to another place near the office. Mendo has their reasons for not having a convenient ordering process, but as fancy as it looks to have a long line it doesnt serve the MANY office workers in that area, whom dont have the time to stand in it nor wait on the phone to place an order. People want to go to Mendo for the food, not for the lines. If we wanted lines, well, wed just all go to the post office, wouldnt we?

High quality wraps and sandwiches full of wholesome goodness you believe at first bite. This is a chain that I like seeing when I see it. Sure, they have blue cows. But they also serve super tasting sodas and you can test their salads. I love their curry couscous salad, at times the oil can be much but in small doses its so comforting. Wine and beer served here. A few vegan options that are seasonal and always changing so you dont feel stuck to the same menu. My favorite thing has been the samosa dosa vegan wrap, it was full of Indian curried potatoes, cauliflower and peas. Please bring that back and Ill be back. Indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking.

Mendocino Farms is one of the best sandwich shops around in SoCal. Inventive, innovative and tasty - its hard to go wrong with any of their choices. I love the Drunk’n Goat and Banh Mi along with their seasonal specialties. Also available are delicious sides after you order your sandwich along with wines/beer/drinks. The service is always stellar as well with samples for the sides always available along with some custom ordering. Cost is around $10-$20 depending on how much you order. Lots of parking available usually in the private lot and good seating both indoors and outdoors.

The bacon!!!!! Bacon was delicious. I had capresse sandwich toasted with BACON. I also like the ordering process. You order the item that takes the longest up front. Then you go thru the rest of the items at the end then you pay. So it totally shortens the time between you pay and when you get to eat! Its a genius time saver! It also means you spend less time hogging a seat. Environment was nice. Got indoor and outdoor seating. Really need the extra seats outside. Wish they have shades for outdoor seating tho.

Woah. Just WOAH. I dont think Ive ever been blown away by a sandwich before. This place is unreal. The ambience looks like your typical LA - "I only eat organic" type of place, so I wasnt expecting anything that would be any better than something cooked up at Wholefoods. But boy was I wrong. The first sandwich I ate was the "not so fried chicken"....Ive been blown away by every sandwich since. Seriously, its like they cant make a bad sandwich. F#%$ing amazing.

The food is good here, just very over-priced. Basically "gourmet" sandwiches and salads. I do like that they encourage you to try free samples of their side salads as you are waiting in line to pay. Ive had the Pork Belly Sandwich, which is really good with a nice spicy kick. The turkey & avacado sandwich is just OK. Lunch time gets very busy, so be prepared to wait in line for 30 minutes, after youve spent 10 miniutes trying to find a parking space.
