I randomly stumbled across this place while driving down Mel rose with my wife a few years ago. I was starving and saw their sign while at the traffic light- I was curious and said why not? The staff suggested I try the signature turkey and Im glad they did- It is one of the best sandwiches out there. In my opinion their sandwiches are better than Bay Cities in Los Angeles, CA . Also, there is less chaos inside and the staff is quick- BC gets annoying with parking and all the chaos inside, plus the wait is ridicules.

Decent prices for gourmet sandwiches. The Spanish Godfather is the way to go. Add the Old Bay chips and a latte shake (which I crave daily) and youre all set. Also have Boylans and nitro cold brew on tap if youre passionate about good soda and coffee like I am. Limited seating and parking but worth the shuffle.

This is my favorite sandwich shop in the entire city.I live in north beach and its always my go to place. I love everything about it, thinking about this place just makes me happy my only complaint is that I wish it was open later so I could go more often! I guess it just makes my Saturdays that much better!

Unique sandwiches brought to you by the winner of Top Chef, Michael Voltaggio. Every sandwich is a hit but Id recommend the tortilla Español and the Jose Andrés. Great house made potato chips to boot! Parking is kind of an issue and Id recommend ordering ahead.

We ordered the kickin chicken sandwich and the tostada salad. The sandwich was amazing- we loved it! The tostada salad was definitely good, but nothing special. Good atmosphere and decent prices! Not a ton of seating but quick service.

Great sandwich for the price! I ordered the veggie wedgy and it was a perfect balance of veggies and sauces. The bread was also fresh and the roll was pretty big... I skipped dinner.

Tried chicken pesto sandwich, crab sandwich, and beef bulgogi sandwich. They were all awesome. Although the shop is very small and seats are limited, subs there are very good.
