Went for Happy Hour a couple days ago with a group of friends, there were 5 of us total. Not happy that they sat us at a 4-top with an extra chair on one side when there were other open tables. We got there about 6pm, plenty of time to enjoy the Happy Hour menu, which lasts until 7pm. Great 2-for-1 drink specials, which includes anything from the bar (including glasses of wine). The crab cake sliders were pretty good, and the calamari was great. The popcorn shrimp was pretty good too. We were not that impressed with the spicy edamame or the hummus though. The truffle fries were tasty, and the pineapple upside-down cake was pretty amazing. Overall, the Happy Hour menu has a great selection at reasonable prices. The service was good, and you cant beat the view, especially at sunset. Plenty of self-parking, and they accept reservations.

Brunching on a Sunday... Restaurant patio was busy at 1:30 pm. While we waited for 30 mins, we grabbed drinks at the bar. Moscow mules baby! Very gingery and it even came in the copper cups! Eventually we got seats on the patio that overlooked the Marinas beach. View there is 5 stars. Food: 3.5 stars (not bad but not great.) For the price youre paying its on the expensive side. The salmon lox bagel was excellent. Fresh salmon on a lightly toasted bagel, covered in red onions and capers. American burger with onions, jack cheese was good but not the best burger Ive ever had. The truffle fries were definitely yummy Tuna tartare was just okay to me Id like to come back for happy hour and more cocktails!

Food was pretty good, but the service was unbelievably bad...and Im easy to please. They did not manage the flow of people well, as the hostess podium was all the way up by the bar in the center of the restaurant. Employee roles were obviously not defined as nobody could tell who was a bartender, waiter, hostess, etc. Everyone in this restaurant is mad as I sit here and write this, while the 6 hostesses stand nearby snickering about all the angry patrons. They were not that busy at all but kept telling every patron how swamped they were. An absolute joke, go across the street to Killer Cafe.

I went to meet a friend for dinner and drinks and I was thoroughly impressed by the service. I started at the bar and the bartender, Lance, made just as delightful drinks as he did conversation. When my friend arrived, we moved to a table and were served by a gentleman named Justin. His service was quick, friendly, and all of his menu recommendations were top knotch. If you should experience the phenomenon that is Beachside Restaurant, I highly recommend the fish & chips, a classic vodka martini with a twist, and if youre feeling extra naughty, the amazing carrot cake.

My recent visit to Beachside Cafe was special. Maricella was such a sweetheart. She was so kind and was able to accommodate our family without a reservation on such a busy day. Our server Justin made my mothers birthday by bringing a carrot cake for dessert. Literally the best carrot cake I have ever tasted. The busser Lance was kind enough to drag an umbrella away for my grandmother and replace it with a heater. Food was delicious, view was great, and the service was memorable. Thanks Beachside Cafe! We will be back. Get the French Toast with fried chicken....yum.

Great view of the water and fantastic service. Probably favorite brunch spot in the marina. I had the turkey avocado bacon Benedict and my friend had the smoked salmon Benedict. They were both delicious! I was expecting the turkey to be thinly sliced like lunch meat but it was thanksgiving style thick cut and SO yummy. Topped it off with a mimosa and some sunshine on the patio and had a great time. Pro-tip, if you self park its free for the first 2 hours! You still have to grab a parking slip at the valet desk. Will definitely be going back soon!

Had a good time this weekend! Place is a little bit funky because it is literally a construction zone. We had to sit outside because they are remodeling the inside and it was a bit cold. However, our servers Michael and Lance got us blankets and pulled over two heat lamps so we were nice and cozy! Get the enchiladas. Serious crack. My wife had the French toast with fried chicken. Loved it. Better than Roscoes. Good place with a great view. Hope they get construction done asap!

3 stars is a stretch but the view is wonderful. Food is mediocre. Service... while the waitress was sweet she was mostly absent. And then when I went searching for her to get my check (along with another unknown patron) she was found visiting in a corner with a co worker. I finally get my check and its another tables. So 15 min later I finally checkout. Wont be returning. Killer Shrimp and Tony Ps are still my top choices.

I was walking on the bike path by Mothers Beach and stumbled on Beachside. I didnt realize that a restaurant was inside the hotel (its called Jamaica Bay). Very friendly human service and was dog friendly. My server Lance even got my dog a bowl of water. Ended up getting a lovely Ahi salad that was reasonably priced and a very good glass of Rose. Will definitely come back again. Thanks!

Three stars for the reception upon arrival, but adding a star as they were kind enough to accommodate my dietary requests. Three stars because my wife didnt enjoy her food but adding a star because I thoroughly enjoyed mine. Three stars because of the wait for my wifes prosecco but adding a star for a decent margarita and a great local pilsner on tap.

Used to have a good happy hour. Returned today. New hh is not happy. Happy Hour menu said featured cocktails were two for one. I asked the male bartender what happens if I only want one? He said, "Well then just order one." Am I naive to have assumed I would be charged half price? $14 for one happy hour featured cocktail did not leave me feeling happy.

I was in town for vacation and picked this place because we were unfamiliar with which places served breakfast. Im so glad we did! The patio view of the marina is just Lovely! And the Hostess on duty that morning was super helpful and was a smiling beacon of joy. The food was also rather good. I had the crab cake eggs benedict and I added bacon.

Somewhat limited menu but offers all the options from seared tuna, crabcakes, fish n chips to flatiron steak. Decent portions, reasonably priced for the area. Well prepared and amazingly tasty. The chef does a wonderful job putting the flavors together. Multiple heaters on the patio kept it comfortable while enjoying the beach side dining.

Great as usual, but these damn dogs!!!!! There need to be a section in restaurants for animals!!! Dogs shaking off sjitz on them flying in the air towards me drives me crazy!!! Dogs sitting on chairs and the ledge where people sit, hell to the nawlll!!!! Section only for pets!! I stay in my lane and animals should, too!!! Nothing personal!!

Amazing hidden gem! Literally over looking the beach. Good food, good drinks and a really great happy hour. They even had it on Sunday. The short ribs and fish tacos are a must. Our bartender Lance made us a spicy margarita called "el chapo" that I loved. My girlfriend got a Mai Tai and raved as well. Definitely check it out! Thanks Lance!
