Great Chinese food in SoCal can be hard to come by. Enter the Twin Dragon. The food is AWESOME, and shockingly affordable, particularly given the portion sizes which are big. Served at practically lightning speed but somehow always fresh, Im pretty sure the proprietors are using some kind of black magic to make this place so great. One of the best things about the food is that its consistent - every time I go there, no matter what I order, I know its gonna turn out the same delicious way it did last time I came in. (I especially recommend the chicken teriyaki, ginger broccoli, any noodle dish, and sweet & sour chicken). Which brings me to their delightful staff. Whether its the super friendly anime-haired hostess, the Asian-David-Bowie-Meets-Asian- Elvis-Costello head waiter, or the strong but silent type busboy with origami-like doggie bagging abilities, every body here makes you feel at home. Theyve clearly all worked there for a long time, and actually seem very content with their jobs, which in turn makes their service outstanding. Even when its time to leave, Twin Dragon blows the pants off other Chinese restaurants. Instead of just a fortune cookie for each person, youll also get some kind of vaguely lemony sugar cookie with an almond in it, and a carefully sanitized & plastic-wrapped steaming hot damp facecloth to refresh your hands/face/whateverelseyoucang etawaywithunderthetable before you leave. And possibly a 2011 puppy calendar with Twin Dragons phone number on it. How rad is that?? P.S. I ordered a mixed drink there once - it cost about $6, was big enough for 2 people, and I could literally smell the alcohol from 3 feet away as Asian-David-Costello was bringing it to me. My hubbs and I got about halfway through it, it was so friggin strong. A lot of bang for your buck, if youre looking to get your drank on. All in all: service, great food, great delivery, prompt price, great booze, ridiculous 2011 puppy calendars, adorable atmosphere, who cares when you have all of the above

Stopped in for late lunch on Saturday, 14 Aug and it was absolutely awful. The pot stickers were definitely made the day before, or even before that, and reheated. They were tough and inedible. We sent them back. Then we tried the General Chos Chicken and it was absolutely some of the worst chicken of this style I think Ive ever had in my entire 56 years of dining across six continents. The chicken looked and tasted like chicken scraps from the bird that they would use in making animal food. The sauce was just plain bad: no flavor, no pizzazz. Horrid! The rice, too, was just awful, as if they had reheated leftovers: globbed together in dry clumps and barely warm. The waiter was completely indifferent and not only did the food taste like no one cared about it, the service was equally blasee. I will never go back to this place again, I promise. I was never impressed with their food in the four years Ive lived in LA (friends of mine think this place is good, so Ive eaten here before). But today, was simply deplorable. Some of the worst Ive ever had. You get better Chinese food from frozen dinners. Avoid this place and find an eatery that uses fresh ingredients and offers some value. Twin Dragon should be euthanized.

Total garbage! One of the worst Chinese restaurants Ive ever been to in Los Angeles. Everything dish tasted the same. Completely devoid of anything tasteful. I went to this restaurant because I was drawn to how busy it was - people were waiting for takeout, waiting to be seated, parking was full, valet parking. Plus, a friend of mine recommended it. I grew up on Chinese food growing up in Brooklyn. This was a total joke. To be fair, I went a second time ordering different dishes. I hate to disappoint anyone but everthing tastes like it comes out of one pot. Just sorrowful. Dont waste your hard earned money on this food that looks like Chinese food, but is COMPLETELY tasteless. I am clueless why people come here. Soup, appetizers and entree - puke! This place fails folks. Lets face it LA Chinese is garbage especially when you come East coast.

My wife and I frequent the restaurant most Fridays. We have found the food to be very good however, there are three issues that I would like to address: 1. We drove by the restaurant this past Friday around 7:30pm and there was only one car in the lot. Quite honestly, it led me to seek out these reviews. I also think that refills on sodas should be free. 2. The customer service is questionable simply, the staff is not very friendly and we consider ourselves regulars. 3. Valet charged me to park in the handicap space and I believe that is a city violation. That really stimulated our belief that the new ownership was really money hungry and placed customer service as a low priority. We are debating on whether we should go back!

Wow! What can I day about twin dragon that hasnt already been said..here it is..they no longer allow deliveries from twin dragon to Cedars Sinai! *Sigh* Also, I read how this restaurant is under new management. Let me tell you, the same people who have worked here the last 10 years is still here. Amanda who happens to be a sweetheart had a conversation with me, and as I always believed, YELP is making a bad name for itself. If you dont advertise with them...meaning pay them, then the bad reviews start! Twin Dragon rules, always will! Traditional for Jews to eat Chinese food on x-mas, twin dragon is always my choice! *smooches*

Just had some food. Tried to order and asked them to take our order and we were often ignored. Felt like not at the right place. Food was ok but the service was "bad my innerself was screaming to run out". When the food was served waitress came and almost threw my food on the table. What the heck? People do not even throw food at their dogs. WTF!!! I came there not to feel your anger. I came to dine duh!!! Not recommended at all. Never going back. Twin dragon, do not forget there are many more choices in Los Angeles. You are not the only chinese restaurant.

This restaurant consistently exceeds our expectations. They have a great selection of food that is almost always completely correct and delicious. Whether youre eating at the restaurant or taking food to go they seem to be very quick, but never careless. The hostesses and staff are great and do great job coordinating, explaining dishes, and offering a friendly greeting. The drinks are good quality and Id absolutely recommend giving Twin Dragon a try if youve never been!

Ive been going here for years... The owners are welcoming and the waiters are the best!! I cant believe some of these comments?? Everyone has their own personal experience but from what my family and I have experienced it is awesome!! And yes they can cook chicken with broccoli... Must try are the lettuce wraps and for spicy food lovers order the spicy shrimp extra spicy... :)

Best chinese food in the area, take it from a Chinese person. Their dumplings are the best of any take out in mid LA. Really good fried rice and the walnut shrimp and chicken with spinach are a main staple of what I order. Most of the so called "chinese restaurants" in my area serve garbage, Twin Dragon is the only one I go to if I dont feel like driving anywhere.
