I have to say that after going to Coffee Co. for over two years, today was the first time I was truly disappointed with the service. My friend and I met there for breakfast and I felt like our waitress was rushing us the entire time and she was gruff in her mannerisms. She has been my waitress in the past and has been a bit gruff, but today was worse. I dont want to think we were discriminated because we openly prayed over our meal before enjoying it, but as the meal progressed, that is truly the conclusion I came to. When my breakfast plate came, our waitress practically threw it at me and spilled some of my coffee because she hit my coffee cup with the plate, but she never apologized. She brought us our check almost as soon as we took our first bite of our meal! If that isnt a hint that we are not welcomed there then I dont know what is! We felt pressured to rush through our meal and they started taking our water, coffee cups etc away even before we were done. To add insult to injury, one of the host came over to ask us if we could be moved to another table because our table was needed! Yes, we had finished eating quickly because they took our plates away but I was still enjoying my coffee and we were there because I had always found it to be very cozy and welcoming. After todays experience, I doubt I will ever go back. There are many excellent breakfast spots in LA, Id rather go somewhere where I am treated with courtesy because I am a paying customer. And on top of it all, I still left a great tip like I always do because thats just the way I was taught to do. Yes, the place is being remodeled and it has done very well, but unless they train their staff on customer service, there is nothing that makes Coffee Co. stand apart from the rest. I really hope owners take my comments to heart so they can continue to be a preferred spot.

Found hair in my sons food twice. First piece of hair discovered in potatoes. Second piece, which was a two inch piece of straight hair discovered underneath my sons omelette. The manager didnt want to give us the plate of food for free after my son ate the food. the 2nd piece of hair was found under his omelette after he ate his food. My son didnt eat his last two bites of food left on his plate. This is a case where the customer is always right. Her argument was that he ate the food and out of moral conscious, we should pay for it. My rebuttal was, no I wont pay for it. I asked her what would be her demand if she found hair in her food after she ate the food and found hair under her omelette. I will not go back to this place, because she did not know how to handle this situation and because of the sanitary issues we experienced. I still tip my waiter 20%.

I had just got off a flight from Vegas, met up with my friend from LA she recommended this place but had not been here, just heard that the food was pretty good. Anyway the waitress was very impatient and pushy with taking our order, sorta rushing us, she kept pacing back and forth. Some guy kept walking around each table, it was just weird. My friend asked for the owner, well come to find out it was the weird guy pacing around. His name was GUS, he was rude, told my friend that we needed to hurry up and finish food, his turn around time on his tables are 1 hour :-O we werent there 30 mins. He was arrogant, out right nasty, as a business owner GUS you need to be careful how you treat customers, you have no IDEA who ppl are. Your threats to my friend will not go unnoticed. Im reporting your business. WILL NEVER EAT THERE EVER AGAIN.

Worst breakfast Ive ever had. Ordered eggs Benedict.... How could you possible go wrong with eggs Benedict?????? The English muffin was SOGGGGYYYYY the bacon was old (dry, extremely chewy, bad flavor) the ham was bad and the hollandaise sauce tasted bad too. Very disappointed. My fiancé ordered French toast combo (Apparently, as we read online previous to coming here, this place is known for having some of the best French toast in LA) he said his French toast tasted fine, nothing special, but were served to him COLD. Never coming here again!!!! If youre in the area I would recommend going to Cafe Buna or Blu Jam Cafe for breakfast better pricing and better food quality over all.

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast after dropping someone off at the airport. Pros: fast and friendly service, the coffee and its family-friendly (I had my 16-month-old with me and they had high chairs. Although, no diaper-changing station). The menu is varied and has many items. The food was good and served freshly made but it wasnt anything out of this world. That was the only con. I had french toast, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and a side of fruit. My husband wasnt hungry but ended up eating almost all of my babys smiley face pancake and off my plate as well. It was a lot of food.

I was craving their blueberry pancakes, but decided on a protein based breakfast. I had the spicy chicken sausage skillet with scrambled eggs. The portions are huge and delicious. I only ate half of my food, which will make great leftovers for later. The skillet is made with the potatoes OBrian as the base with the sausage sautéed in. The dish is topped with melted cheese and eggs cooked to your preference. Did I mention it comes with two warm homemade biscuits? I ordered the Vienna cinnamon coffee which was tasty also. Overall, I was totally satisfied .

Great food. Great ambience. Not too pricey. My absolute favorite part was their service. They went above and beyond. There was a person with walking inabilities, the hostess personally escorted him and his wheelchair to a table. They were also very attentive to our party ( I have a 1 yr old) , we did not feel uncomfortable, as we do in most places when asking for accommodation. We did not need to ask, the hostess was all over it! Thank you TCC, we will definitely return for dessert.

Un excelente lugar para desayunar. Comida rica y trato amable de su personal. Se ve que ha ido creciendo con el paso del tiempo, indicativo de que a lo largo del mismo no han hecho más que mejorar. La espera vale la pena.

The first time we went here, I thought we were just lucky. But after several trips back, its safe to say that The Coffee Co. is just as incredible as they seem. Amazing service (fast yet thorough) and delicious food that comes out within 10 minutes perfectly done. The place is clean with great ambience and bathrooms (sounds silly, but important!). Highly recommend for a quick bite on your way to work or a lazy Sunday morning. 15/10--thank you Coffee Co.
