This is THE BEST black owned deli on Crenshaw. I love the corned beef sandwich on dark sweet wheat with all my fave toppings for 7.90. They make their own pickles (which I get on the side to eat alone )and they are soo bomb LOL ! Sometimes I turn my sandwich into a salad for a few bucks less but they always have a sandwich of the day for 5.00. Everyone at my job loves these sandwiches lol we have even catered them for our special events. I usually call in my order and This deli is always busy so for a walk in it may take 10 to 15 mins and well worth the wait. Brooklyn deli is the way to go.

Holy hell! I work in an area where there is NOTHING good to eat and today I found this place through Postmates and OMG thank gosh!!! Even my Postmate ordered a sandwich when he was picking up for me lol. I ordered the Mango Madness sandwich. I love sweet and spicy mixed so it was everything I could have dreamed in a sammy. It didnt drop everywhere either which is such a plus considering Im eating at my desk. Anyways, I have a list of sandwiches I cant wait to try from this place. Will be ordering again.....and again!!!

UPDATE: To Ms. D, the employee/owner of Brooklyn Deli, I can assure you that Im not an employee of Yelp. And youre right, I dont give 5 stars for everything because nothing is perfect. I give honest reviews of what MY experience was. Instead of attacking my truth, take the review as feedback on how to improve and become even better. Looks like prices are going up here because the price of the ménage a trois went up to $12.27 and a bag of chips added $1.19 extra and they also ask if we want lollipops now (which I didnt care for anyway). Overall, this is still a great tasting sandwich and if you participate in United Airlines of American Airlines dining programs, you can get miles for dining here! This is great if you need to reset your mileage clocks so your miles dont expire!

This place has awesome classic NYC deli sandwiches for a better price than most other places in LA. They also have a daily $5 sandwich special.. The guys who run the deli (a guy with his son and father) so so friendly and polite, amazing customer service. The bread and deli meats and cheeses are always fresh and delicious, especially the sweet wheat bread. Highly recommend for sandwiches and good company.

omg this place is awesome. the owner is young and positive, the type of men we need in the community. He has hired within the community..the food is sooooooo good. I continuously pray for their success and that they dont leave the community. Subway, Jerrys, etc..take lessons from that business there
