Found PUBIC HAIR in my napkin during dinner tonight. This is a cloth napkin with utensils wrapped inside. I was shocked and disgusted, that some strangers pubic hair was on the napkin I was about to wipe my mouth on.. I brought it up to the hostesses at the front and they got the manager. He immediately dismissed it as "any other hair" and shook it off to the ground, as if hes getting rid of evidence so other customers wouldnt see. This was not a head, leg, or armpit hair. This was definitely a thick pubic hair. He asked "what do you want?", as if I placed pubic hair on purpose to get compensated. I asked for a new napkin. I felt humiliated and even more disgusted on how the manager treated me. By the time I got back to my table, I had lost my appetite and canceled my meal. I sat there waiting for my family to finish their meals and left. It was my first time going to The Reef, because of high Google reviews and it was right by the Queen Mary Ship, but Im never coming back.

My boyfriend and I went for the Champagne Sunday Brunch. The buffets offered a variety of foods ranging from normal brunch breakfast items, to mexican, to bbq and soul food, to all the seafood you could eat (including some delicious spicy tuna sushi)! It wasnt phenomenal food, but it was a buffet so I knew what was expected. I liked the fondue fountain alot, it was a nice treat. And all the champagne you could handle was nice as well. The only problem was the wait staff seemed to take forever when we had finished to even give us the check. Now Im not complaining too much because the champagne kept flowing, but under normal circumstances or if I needed to be somewhere, it was an issue that would have been unacceptable. We did have to wait almost an hour before we got the check. :( Ill probably go there again to see if its any different. It was a lot of fun and I liked sitting facing the harbor, its a very pretty view.

Not coming back! From the moment we arrived the service was bad. The hostesses were rude. Id expect better service for such a nice looking restaurant. Our server was bad, took forever to get out our drinks. My food was not worth the cost. The corn on the cob was not fresh. Not only did it taste like it was old and recently defrosted, but had no good flavor. We asked for salt and pepper, by the time they brought it I was almost done with my ribs. The salt was moist and wasnt even coming out of the salt shaker. We asked for another round of drinks, and again, it took forever to get them. The Hookah lounge was nice but it took a long time to get our charcoal. I gave one star because the view was excellent, and the watermelon drink was yummy. The dessert was fantastic. Thats what made me smile. Its so unfortunate to look forward to coming to The Reef and leave so disappointed. Major changes would have to be made for me to come back.

The food was great! The only problem was the waiter. We called and made reservations for 10 people hours before we came. Our waiter took our order, he was rude and fast paced, and then we didnt see him again. The bus boys filled our water and were better to us than the waiter. When the waiter took our order we told him how the check would be split up, when we asked for the check we AGAIN told him how it would be split up, then he brings back a full check with everyones order. We said we needed the check split like we asked and he said "Uhm k" and ran off with the check while my boyfriend yelled, "Do you want to know how?". He split the check how he wanted and it was still wrong. My boyfriend and I were on two different checks. We were very patient and the service that we received was terrible. We wont be going back.

I came here for Sunday brunch with my friends. The best thing about this place is the beautiful view of Long Beach that overlooks the pier. They have a small outdoor patio but seating there is limited. The food is buffet style and its just alright. They have a variety of breakfast food from the usual eggs, bacon, and potatoes, to a selection of seafood, and Mexican food too (even pozole). Servers are nice and helpful. They serve you unlimited champagne...but they wIll not mix the mimosa for you. They refill your champagne glass (to the top) and you have to mix in the OJ, which is kind of a hassle because you find yourself pouring OJ out of a glass into the champagne flute and it gets a little messy. Id come back for the view but theres way better places to grab some brunch.

As a wedding venue I expected more for the amount paid. We had to track down someone to put out the runner down the aisle because it wasnt there prior to the wedding starting. There also was no mic or mic stand for the minister. And when they did finally get it set up, after the wedding was already running late due to these issues, it didnt work and had to be turned off because of the feedback. Not to mention we couldnt get into the main room where the reception was being held until an hour and a half after we were told we would be able to get in there to decorate, because they couldnt get the people out of the room who had brunch there earlier. These Logistics should be figured out way in advance and ready prior to the wedding.

My brother and I took my parents for Fathers Day brunch. We are infrequent patrons due to the fact that we live 1-2 hours away depending on traffic. Once again the food was great with great variety. Chile rellenos were awesome. Service was great too. But what really caught my eye this time were the totally kid friendly food and drink choices. Fruit roll ups, jello cups, chicken fingers, capri-suns, and a freezer full of ice creams! How much easier it was to keep my 1 1/2 year old happy due to the friendly staff having her favorite snacks on hand. How very thoughtful, thank you for making our day, we had a great time and will return. Worth the drive!

Ive been to the Reef on several occasions and have enjoyed each experiences. However today I was horrified at the service. The waitress who never introduced himself to our table but so gracious introduced himself to the dog at another table. The waiter Who was clearly a dog lover proceed to Rub the dog head and behind his ears. The waiter then bring back our drinks but not before serving water to the dog first before the paying customers. Also he had dog hair on his hand!!! We left but not before the waiter had the nerve to ask us to pay for our untouched drinks. I dont eat dog Hair!!!

One of the best places for all you can eat Sunday Brunches over looking the water. Brunch includes the following: unlimited champagne, made to order omelets and pasta station; craved meat station with prime rib, turkey and ham; Mexican food station, sushi station; seafood station with smoked salmon, Crab legs, muscles, clams and shrimp; made to order waffles, kids station; salad station and more. Great place for Holidays, Birthdays, Special Events and just for fun. Adult and Family environment. The staff is amazing.
