Los Primos! Delicious Mexican food. This restaurant is strangely located inside of a gas station (you can read about this on all the other reviews). Almost everyone of my co-workers have gone there. My weapon of choice is the Monster burrito and the carne asada nachos (although Ive heard the fries are Heavenly) not at the same time of course. The monster burrito is quite a deal only about 7 dollars for a burrito the size of your arm. You can choice from a four different types of monsters. I think one comes with fries inside. Its funny, because one day I cut it in half and was about the start the second half when a co-worker commented on how big it was... that was only half a monster. It is filled with clean and fresh ingredients. If you are not a big big eater Id recommend spiting the burrito in to two or three meals. The Carne asada nachos yum! This appetizer is a meal. I personally would add more meat, but the beans, cheese and chips make up for it. I recommend top it with many different salsas from the open salsa bar. If you are in the Lake Forest are I recommend LOS PRIMOS! Great for take out. Much better than Albertos in Lake Forest. Albertos (only lake forest one) YUCK!

Absolutely amazing !!!! i woke up one morning wanting some delicious menudo . My girlfriends mom had told me about a small Mexican food place inside a Shell gas station off of Lake Forest so we went there. JACKPOT!!! The owner served me up a sample of menudo before paying , it was absolutely delicious . I went ahead and paid for my food and some buñuelos as well he then gave me arroz con leche and flan (a full sample of both :o) soooooooo good !! Amazing chef ! long story short you have too come check them out . Great customer service, great authentic, delicious, mouth watering, and a great value!

Pretty darn good.....very authentic. When I want some authentic, unhealthy, cheesy, loaded over the top mexican this is the place I head to. The marinated carrots and peppers are tasty as is the salsa bar. You can tell the girl at the counter lots of cheese or load it up or give her the personal touch and shell come through everytime. Not the friendliest people in the world-but for this area this hole in the wall is a much needed location in a sea of Rubios, Baja Fresh, and Del Tacos

Not 1 thing in my $25 pick up was correct, unless you call the over cooked pork fries with what looks like canned guacamole a correct item. I order burrito no beans, get home theres beans, i ordered 2 chicken street tacos or "minis" as they call them and I get 4 chorizo and egg tacos smashed together like 2 more burritos. TELL ME HOW YOU GET CHORIZO AND EGG OUT OF CHICKEN! The health department should have kept them shut down.

Wow! Im still enjoying my meal and thats a good thing since I am very picky about my MX food since I cook it better than most places. Very tasty and large portions. I look forward to trying other dishes. Only thing I can say is maybe the head cashier should smile just a lil bit, could make a slight difference.....

Dont let this place fool you these guys know how to cook. Yes, its in a gas station. No, dont be afraid. This place is popular with the working class. If your in the area and your on lunch you eat here. Outside seating as well. Sorry for the bad picture but Im in the middle of destroying a taco salad.

Perfect for your trashy MexiCali Carne asada fries or Cali burrito but they also serve buche, tripas, and a ton of other legit foods that arent on the menu. Homemade Arroz con Leche made on Wednesdays and Fridays so get there when its fresh. They have the best Carmi carnitas in this part of OC.

I ordered the beef soup or stew today and they gave it to me not even hot. The vegetables looked like they were old and the overall soup just tasted like it was not even fresh. It seemed like they were a few days old. I usually had no problems with this place but today was just gross.

Ive read the review below and thought well, it looks ugly and smells bad in here, but dont let the apeal fool you... so I got fooled. This place is just as bad as it looks. If that is authentic maxican food, Id rather go back to Taco Bell.

This food is more authentic than you would get at Taco Smell or Del Tacky! These people will actually put meat in the tacos and burritos. Its definitely not the Whitewashed Mexican food served down the street from Miguels.
