This place was not busy. One third of their menu (a chalk board) was crossed off because they were out of the items (at lunch time). They have beer on tap, but not soda. The soda the do sell is by the bottle, so there is no chance of getting a refill. For a BBQ joint, the portions were small. The taste of the food was OK at best. The Bacon mac and cheese I had must have been sitting out for a while, as several bits of macaroni were quite hard. The pulled pork sandwich fared a little better. For a place that has been open for almost a year, I would have expected at least a soda fountain and better stock of their very limited menu.

I guess most of these reviewers have never had real good BBQ! Saw a clip on KTLA and thought, great finally a local BBQ joint to try. The Bad: I ordered the Tri-Tip sand, Beef Ribs and a side of coleslaw for lunch today. The tri-tip meat was not smoked and kind of thin in quanity. The Beef Ribs were way over SALTED to the point I was forcing myself maybe the next bite wont be as salty...The BBQ sauce was probably one of the WORST I have ever had, Tip, Bring your own if you still want to try this joint! The GOOD: The French Roll was fresh and the Coleslaw was good but @ $3 bucks for that little side???

Its a 5 star restaurant hands down, with BBQ there are a lot of critics so here I will discribe my experience... ribs are fall off the bone with a healthy amount of fat (fat is good people makes stuff mosit), wish they had the same dry rub the brisket had, Im a dry rub guy, I prefer to sauce myself. Brisket was perfect, I ordered moist and it was on point. The sausage had a nice crunch and good flavor but I would probably order a different meat next time. Thanks for fantastic lunch, if I lived in the area Id be a regular

Definitely one of better BBQ joints in the area but still felt it had room for improvement. I honestly think it might be because we came fairly late in the day but everything was a little overcooked. It was happy day so pints were only $5 which was a pleasant surprise. The beef rib is good, a little salty and a little to crusty but it was an end piece. The slider trip was great with each one being a different type. Definitely recommend checking this place out and supporting local.

I really enjoyed the food at this place. A small quiet spot in the city of la puente. I ordered to go the cheesy brisket sammie, pork rinds, tater tots and dirty rice. My order was done in less than 10 minutes after walking in and ordering. They have a selection of craft beers. I am definitely coming back. Also the prices on the food are affordable.

Ive been going there with my wife for a couple of months and the service is always great and the food is just amazing. They have a great beer selection and no matter what we try, the food always taste great, if not better. We recommend Domestic to everyone and trust us, you will not be disappointed.

I really like this spot its got a cool modern industrial ambiance. The staff is welcoming and nice.Specialty Craft beer selection is on point. And Ofcorse the bbq is really good. Try to go during happy hour to get the best bang for ur buck. I believe tues-thur 5-close and Sunday all day

Prices are too high for below sub par BBQ. I couldve bought a two pound brisket for the $15 I paid for maybe 3/4 of a pound of chewy brisket. Disappointing.
