So, a nice clean and new Chipotle opened off my bus route and everything was fine until my BF and I went the other day for dinner. I promise everything is fine, Ive been there before shortly after it opened, but this time was a pain. If the really tall guy with slicked up hair in the front is taking your order, be prepared to repeat yourself at least three times. I try to be really observant of the servers time and have my order ready when they greet me. I am sure that I spoke clearly, but he was just not listening. When he finally got everything together, just when he was about to finish our order, he stopped to cut up someone elses order instead of asking another employee to do it. Ok, Im not an expert on Chipotle relations, but it was definitely an unforeseen interruption and there were definitely other people at hand. The last and final straw was when we were getting ready to leave and my BF wanted an extra piece of foil to wrap the leftover part of his burrito in. I offered to get it for him and I got back in line. Tall and Slicked was waiting and when I got up to him I said, and this time I was sure to be extra clear, "Can I please have a piece of foil?" and he said, I shyt you not, "For here or to go?" Ugh. Maybe he got some of his hair gel in his ears.

I went into this chipotle after having a somewhat poor afternoon. I was caught up in traffic and needed somewhere to eat, I came in and was greeted immediately by the employees with a very friendly experience, and the food was great. I was new to the chain and they were very accommodating. I will be coming back with my buddies next time we surf!

I love Chipotle and have been to every one in the county. This was, surprisingly, one of my least favorite. The food was cold and they totally skimped on the food. It may have been an off day, but this was one of the worst in the county. I expected more from La Jolla.

I come here like at least twice a week. Usually pretty empty. I love it. No line at lunch time. Food is consistently great and staff is friendly. I usually get double chicken and my god it looks almost like triple b/c staff isnt wimpy with scoops
