Realay bad customer service. We ordered our food. 40 minutes later we ask about our order and the waiters and waitress are looking at each other like they dont have a clue and start scrambling around. In the mean time I notice that our waitress walk out from the kitchen stare my way and looks shocked and runs back to the kitchen. One of the waitresses comes over and says that there was 16 to go orders and that ourshe got mixedone up. Funny thing is that in the time we were there only one person came in to get a pick up order. At no point in time did the manager ever come to check on us. I noticed a lady who kept yelling at the waiters and waitress She had bleached hair and wore a fancier top. I assumed it was her because she was ordering the staff around. When I told the waiter we would be leaving he said he would be talking to the manager. Again at no point did she come over to see what was happening or even try to make right of the situation. When staff went to her for the problem she just hid behind and let the waiter handle the problem. I defiantly wont be coming back here. The staff and most of all the managers are extremely unprofessional and severely lack training. Dont waste your time here.

Tomikawa is a typical Korean-run sushi place. This play may win some points for being a bit more chic than the others. Food-wise, its OK. Sushi/sashimi is limited to the common varieties (tuna, salmon, yellowtail, albacore, red snapper) but nothing special. The good thing is their dine-in nigiri sushi prices are cheap (<$3 for two pieces). They also have a bunch of sushi rolls but I rarely get those. Im a nigiri sushi type of guy. Their sashimi carpaccio plates are nicely made, but because of their average-grade fish, its OK. They also have a many appetizer dishes. I like the ankimo and hamachi-kama. The thing to watch out for at this place are: 1) service is usually slow 2) if you order from sushi menu, MAKE SURE they all arrive. This has happened to me more than twice where they dont bring out all the items ordered but I get billed for everything I marked. 3) get a copy of your receipt and check it! On my last visit (with party over 8 people), the tip was automatically charged and it says so on the check. But when I paid using my credit card, they tacked on the tip again! I talked to the girl who did the billing and she seemed "clueless"... yeah.

Went here for lunch on a Friday. The place was busy, especially the sushi bar. I had a seat at the sushi bar, and was immediately helped by the very polite staff for a beverage order, and soon after, by the sushi chef. I ordered a spicy yellow tail cut roll and salmon sashimi. They both presented very nicely on one plate. I was shocked to see the size of the salmon sashimi! I recieved 6 HUGE chunks of salmon. Many other places would serve thin slices, so this was easily double the size of normal. The salmon was very fresh and delicious. The spicy yellowtail was good, but not as spicy as I prefer. The yellowtail pieces were also large pieces inside the roll, and not small shredded meat. The tropical Ice-T was wonderful, and didnt need sugar. My drink was refilled immediately by one of the servers, and many others came by to collect my empty dishes. I was very impressed and will be back with some friends.

The $25 certificates conditions: - Minimum purchase of $35. 18% Gratuity. - Excludes 50% off sushi. I ordered $40 of regular priced dishes and $60 of 50% off sushi = $30, total was about $70 before certificate. Using the certificate, I was charged full price for 50% off sushi!? End up the bill was $40 + $60 + 18% gratuity - $25 = $93. I asked to split the bill into 2: - regular priced dished $40 + 18% gratuity - $25 = $22.20 - $60 of 50% off sushi = $30 Total should be $52.20, but they said nothing they can do!? Cannot spend too much time for argument, I gave up. Instead of just not applying certificate on discount sushi, they raise to full price then accept the certificate.

I take clients and friends here and always find the food of excellent quality. Its important to note the time and day, as on occasion, it gets very busy. When any restaurant is busy, there are multiple issues that can interfere with quality, but having a positive client attitude helps them help us - and we are always treated with respect, courtesy, and given the best possible deals as a result. There has never been a situation where the servers werent open and friendly. The food is always excellent. It can get noisy when busy, but if youre okay with that, then enjoy!

Tomikawa is a decent sushi place. Nothing fancy, but fixes the sushi craving. Their happy hour is what really stands out. Some of the most affordable prices youd find in the area. Their fish quality for sushi can be anywhere from disappointing to pretty good. They have an extensive list of rolls that are unique and tasty. Tiger, snow, and angry roll are all full of flavor. I havent had their AYCE (didnt even realize they had one) but Im sure that would make for a good bang for your buck.

Great all you can eat price however....not everyone should have to order all you can eat if one person doesnt want to eat THAT much food. The service is incredibly slow almost as if theyve forgotten about your table or to the point where your two hour max isnt utilized. We had to actually get up and flag down our server several times. Will NOT be returning. Jenna the server in training is the only attentive and friendly face there.

First time here on a double date. We ordered Sushi ...yellow tail and some crunchy one that i have no idea was was called, and shrimp tempura hand Sushi . Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We got a complimentary deep fried ice cream dessert right before we left since we told them it was our first time there. Definitely gonna become regulars at this spot.

The consistency here has been so mixed over the years both in quality and service. Sometimes theyre excellent while at other times theyre poor. I think the business has switched owners multiple times since theyve first opened. The happy hour and reverse happy hour specials are a pretty good price for what you get.

I have to disagree with all the negative reviews complaining the service is bad. Even though we were sitting in a one of the rooms the waitress made sure we werent neglected. Good job. What comes to food, it was good, nothing special. And the value, all the sushi is 50%! Definitely going to Tomikawa again.

Horrible service. I ordered two appetizers & my second appetizer arrived to my table cold. It also took more than 30 minutes for my wifes & I soups to arrived. Also, there were flies that hovered around our table while we were eating. Highly NOT recommend!!!

The only time I visit this restaurant is during Reverse Happy Hour which starts late at night. The prices are absolutely amazing for the quality and amount of food served. My favorite dishes are california roll, spicy tuna roll, and crunch roll.

The Lunch special is a great deal I always get it with Double Sashimi. The fish is always fresh and the presentation is great. Im not saying this is world class but the quality for $ is unbeatable. Fast friendly good food great prices.
