Every time I take someone here they are impressed. Another hidden gem in Los Angeles full of rich culture, amazing food and genuine people. The burgers are a great price and a great meal!! The meat is high quality and made to order. The Cuban Burger particularly amazing especially with the sweet garlic . The pastries are sweet and perfect for parties. Today I was blown away by the El Salvadorian style tamale which was wrapped in leaves. Ive never been such a fan of a tamale until recently. And this one blue my mind with how juicy it was. Perfect neighborhood joint! Its also great to see the community enjoying the space creating a lively environment!DeSimone Deli & Bakery is best.

I am of Cuban descent and always seek out hole-in-the-wall Fantastic food. I have had Cuban sandwiches in Cuba, Miami, Puerto Rico, Atlanta, LA, Long Beach, and here at this bakery in Huntington Beach. They are very, very good here. But my favorite is the Chefs Special. Just typing this is bringing visions of the turkey and pastrami mixture with pickles on fresh baked bread....WOW! Love it! I only wish they could bring on the tropical batidos or shakes that a similar bakery in Atlanta had. Best of all, I live 5 minutes from DeSimone! Lucky Me!!!

Woohoo! As good as it gets! And yes.. thats what I really think about De Simone when it comes to sub sandwich. Ive been looking for long time to finally find a good sandwich spot. No more subway and quiznos junk.. One of their specialty sandwiches with pastrami and turkey has to be the greatest tasting sandwich. Gotta love their salad bar that adds extra star to complete the rating. Its a value, great taste, and more reason to love HB.

The best place to get a pastrami sandwich. Not only are their staff ultra polite and kind, they offer unlimited potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and beans, for anybody that eats in. Their bread is good but their meats are what excel them past other sandwich shops.

What a gem. A little New York-style deli near the SoCal beach. Sandwiches are great, and theyre huge. Atmosphere is completely deli - minimal, but hey, youre there for the food. Service has always been good, and the prices are definietly right. Quite a keeper!
