Anthony the server is a stuck up egotistical narcissist ... I dont think they should have a person working while there is no manager on site, because he treated me badly and gave negative remarks while I was on training he said "ask as many questions as you want, like really ask" Very enthusiastically and then when i asled a question he replied "arent you suppose to know that already?" like legitly this guys ego is so weak he has to constantly demean people just because hes been stuck working here for a lil over 3 years because he has nothing better to do. Even when my sister ordered to-go he did not give her back her change and when i confronted him he claimed "she left" when she waited there until the food was done. And she paid with cash if you havent gotten change back by the time food was done and right after a transaction its obviously his fault .. He lacks accountability and goes back to his annoying know it all attitude.. He just blames lol the foods great all and all i just dont like the fact that they store food ingredients in the bathroom and hide that fact from food inspection that thought seems kinda gross.....

We were acting like tourists this weekend but still wanted a solid, foodie meal so Im glad that Shin Ramen was close enough to the Chinese Theatre, right on the edge of the Hollywood Boulevard action. The actual food was just okay. My friends chicken ramen was pretty bland, and I got their tonkatsu shoyu ramen which I was told by our waiter is the most popular item here. The broth was excellent, but I wasnt thrilled about the pork in it. There were a few legit slices of chasyu pork, but mostly shabu shabu style pork slices, which Ive never seen in ramen. Also, you have to add the egg, and they give you two choices of egg: soft boiled or the more traditional ajitsuke tamago (marinated soft boiled egg). I ordered the regular soft boiled and it was barely boiled! I like my yolk gelatinous but the outside egg whites were barely holding it in so it was like eating a raw egg in my ramen. At least, with the Yelp check-in, the egg was free as you can get any any of their added toppings free (up to $2).

Unbelievable service. The to-go was placed and "supposed" to be ready when I get there. The two snarly looking waitresses (obviously counting down the seconds to close) very rudely said "order isnt ready". F me. 20 min later still nothing. The guy (whom I presumed to be the chef lol) came back along w one of the waitresses carrying what appears to be the remnants there own personal dinner they had been eating in back (or on that smoke break) Either way, when I asked her again about how long the until the order is ready, she screams all Flo-like to that guy, who shrugs "its working!!" Horrible service!! Long story short, I never got that order. I left after 45 min, especially after getting lectured by the waitress that "this is how the real world is sweetie" Holy effing shite!! Cannot believe her, her poor service and the audacity of the place the be in business if they are going to serve poo poo attitude.

I visited here while exploring Hollywood! It was late and I had a long day, walking by I noticed this place was PACKED so naturally I wanted to see what all the fuss was about! The owner was on location and must have noticed how confused I looked because I had never had ramen before! He actually sat me down at a table and told me all about Ramen, the history, the process, the favourites offered at this restaurant, and helped me order! My dish came out quickly and was DELICIOUS and I had such an AMAZING experience! I will absolutely be back here next time Im in LA, and Ive been enjoying ramen ever since :)

The food was delicious. 2 peoples food and drinks came out to $36. Not bad but it could have been less expensive. That said, my ramen still had great mushrooms and broth. You can add toppings for 99 cents each if you pick 3 or more. It can build up, though, so be careful! The ramen itself starts at $11 or $12. Their green tea was okay, but I went for the cold option which was maybe why it wasnt amazing. There is a small plaza parking lot. I would go back, but not soon. Maybe with someone new who has a lot of money.

Restaurante Japonés. Excelente. Pequeño (4 mesas en el interior) otras más en terraza. Acudí en 6 ocasiones y lo recomende llevando a más gente. Comer sano, de caliente y a un precio entre 15/20 dólares.

New ramen spot in Japan town pretty decent! We were told that they have a shop over in Japan and just recently opened one here in CA . What I liked most was that this bowl of ramen wasnt super heavy like other ramen places. The broth was actually really light and clear, but still super flavorful. Couldve used more egg and chase & less onions. Great service! Ill definitely be coming back if Im in the area.

A bit disappointed as its been about 12 months from my last visit and the service and food are lacking. Could not get our order or adjoining tables right, which could have been an off day I get it. But not even an acknowledgement of sorrow for messing up. Pork was lacking in flavor and with so many other ramen spots around they need to step up. Will be back for a follow up, maybe it was simply a bad night.

Fun environment with tagging on the wall from friends and celebs. I love magic and magic + ramen is normally a win situation but I was underwhelmed with the ramen noodles / broth here. Beautiful staff, they were celebrating at the time of our dinner. Really nice people and owner- just needs work on the improving on their recipe.

Bardzo dobry ramen w Hollywood. Duży wybór dodatków, świeżo, szybko i przystępne ceny. Świetna obsługa! Jedyne czego brakowało to piwa.

The delivery guy didnt speak English and told us our method of payment wasnt his problem, the website made us order extra items totalling to over 30 dollars even thought their minimum delivery price is 20. The food was terrible, probably some of the worst Ive ever tried. It was difficult to attempt to eat.

Pretty decent ramen place. The menu has lots of customization options that could be confusing for a newbie, but the staff is friendly and helpful. The open kitchen allows you to watch as they prepare your meal, which to me is the best part. Place is small and not good for groups.

Great ramen in LA. The owner Tim is super nice and the staff are extremely attentive. Try the Ghost Dip as an actual bowl of Ramen. Its not on the menu but they are happy to oblige! Wash it down with the green tea iced tea. Your taste buds will thank you for it.

Its a small parking lot and an even smaller restaurant. I think of this place as a modern ramen shop with the traditional offerings and some modern twists. The broth here is rich and the flavor is intense. The staff here is very attentive.

Had the pork shin ramen and my coworker had the pesto ramen. The food was very good and enjoyed the broth and the noodles were done perfectly. If we we are in the area, Id come back again. The waitress was very nice.
