"Peris the love we have, for as long as we both shall live. Peris the love, Peris the life, Peris the love." - Parody of "Cherish", Kool & the Gang Peris Restaurant is a Persian restaurant which also offers up American comfort food - burgers, sandwiches, classic dinner entrees like chicken fried steak & all day breakfast. Previously located nearby Alondra & Bloomfield, Peris Restaurant now occupies the former location of Pho So 1. Whenever I drive by, I notice Peris Restaurants signage displaying their French toast special for $3.99, M-F till 11am. Having the urge to dine here since many moons ago, I finally two-stepped my way in for a meal. French toast special / $3.99 (hash brown substitution for $1 more)- 2 eggs my way, sunny side up, 2 bacon & hashbrowns. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the crispity crunchity strips of bacon providing the unctuous fat & saltiness & the filling starch of hashbrowns bringing it all home. A great deal for a hearty breakfast. Add a liberal slathering of Cholula & breakfast was on! Hummus- Per the recommendation of the owner, I went with the hummus for an appetizer. Good thing I did! A very generous plate of creamy hummus, accompanied by pita bread, welcomed me. The texture was angelic & went well with my meal. Coulda used a little more brightness, but tasty nonetheless. Red & white wine, along with beer, are the available libations for those that want to partake in a tipple. Service was great! The owner was very friendly & hospitable, constantly with a smile on his face. He checked up on me repeatedly, making sure I was having a pleasant experience. Ready to refill my drinks, he made dining here a joy. Plentiful seating, with comfy booths & tables for groups & bar seating available as well. A free banquet room for up to 200 people is available to reserve for special occasions. The owner invited met to have a look & I was impressed. I can visualize using the banquet room for future gatherings. Parking is in a private lot. Peris Restaurant is located on the corner of Norwalk & Carson, next to Platos Closet. I Peris the opportunity to dine at Peris Restaurant again. The $3.99 French toast special w/ hash brown substitution was a delicious breakfast for cheap. The hummus could be a meal unto itself for those with smaller appetites, which doesnt include me ;p Im eager to have a go with the enticing offerings of Persian cuisine on the menu. Ill be back! Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

If you are craving for a mouth watering Persian food, look no further. Just drive to this delightful restaurant at Cerritos and treat yourself to one of their outstanding selection of Persian dishes. My favorite dish by far is their tasty and extremely delicious Soltani Kabab. Besides high quality tasty food, one cannot help himself to be taken back by their warm and friendly hospitality, outstanding service and of course extremely reasonable prices. I had heard very nice compliments regarding this restaurant from some of my friends and last Friday I decided to take my family and specially my father who is very difficult to please when it comes to Persian food to this restaurant and what a treat it was for my entire family. We all loved their food as well its warm and friendly atmosphere. We were also pleasantly surprised that they even had a belly dancing show and great entertainment. You owe it to yourself and to your family to try this wonderful restaurant. You better go there hungry and be ready to have a great time.

This is my new find... I absolutely love this place and all the people who work here. The food is absolutely fresh... its very high quality food and you just cant go wrong eating here. The owners of this restaurant are really, really smart in that not only is the quality of the food superb but the ambiance from inside to outside is extremely clean and just very, very nice. They have American Food including breakfast specials which they dont skimp out on and they have Persian food as well which is off the charts great. The owners and people are very caring for their customers and you just cant go wrong eating at this restaurant. I eat here at least once a week or more and every time its been a great experience. Thanks..:)

I walked in to this place Saturday night after driving in circles looking for a place that was not so busy, I was greeted by a very high spirit guy named Mike he was standing in front of a elegant wine collection with a big smile! he said " Sit where ever you wish" he came out to us immediately after we took a seat and brought us a high chair for our son and brought out Menus, there was so much to look at he started us with Hummus which was delicious! I then ordered the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich combo I was delighted and my wife ordered #9 and she was very happy with her meal.. Outstanding service from Margaret and Mike. Great place for a Date!! They gave us a great dining experience.. Thank you!

Their servers were wonderful: attentive and friendly. I highly recommend their borani (pureed eggplant with garlic, onions, and herbs topped with caramelized onions). Also enjoyed their Lentil Soup (soup of the day on Saturdays): you can make a meal out of this bowl plus pita bread; this is not a tiny side soup! They have a Persian and American menu so theres something for everyone. Hash browns from the American menu were crispy and well seasoned.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is always well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The owner, Mike, is attentive and his love for his restaurant and patrons genuinely shows with every visit! This is a new favorite spot. I highly recommend to everyone. My favorite is the combo plate with the boneless chicken and filet mignon with hummus and their garlic sauce is to die for!!!!

The manager guy, Mike has contagious STD, I know that for a fact and heard it from somebody who works there. Also I know he touches the foods and makes the salads at the back and is super careless, so easily can pass the disease. Whoever goes there should accept the consequences too! Not for me, thank you! There are so many other restaurants in the neighborhood, why going there

Great and traditional food, nice calm atmosphere and kind waitstaff. The only issue is that if you come for dinner, sometimes the food is not properly heated. I informed the manager both times and was able to get a second entree at no charge. However they should be concerned about maintaining the food at the proper temperature if it is not made to order.

I just love this place, all the kabobs, rice, garlic sauce with warm pita bread is just delicious! The Persian salad, hummus and the eggplant borami is just so flavorful. Mike is the best, great service, consistent great food. My family has had birthdays, and other special events here. Never disappointed. Breakfast is good too and served all day.

The chicken tasted rubbery and unnatural to me. I was disappointed by their falafel and their hummus. There was just nothing about this restaurant that I found appealing. Its a recipe for a stomach ache. The only way I would recommend this place was if you were deciding between here and A& W across the street, then itd be a tough decision!
