Visited this restaurant with 2 other people in my company. 2 out of 3 orders came to the table cold. I mean not lukewarm, not hot enough kind. They were cold to touch. And they did not look freshly made. We were either served someone elses refused food, or they were previously cooked and warmed over when we ordered and the cooks did not do a banging good job at that. I had to send them both and the manager looked a little miffed, but I couldnt care less.

There is not a better place in the area to eat. Lots of food at a good price. We love having breakfast there every Saturday. The staff is all great, Julie is our personal favorite. We eat there at least once a week. Everyone makes you feel welcome. We tried several places for breakfast when we first moved into the area @ 4 years ago, and could not find better food or service anywhere!

This place is great... excellent food ...double excellent service... excellent value...huge portions...the place is old, but very well kept...a bit of remodeling will take it to a different hight ....will come back again for sure......***try the OBrien with your omlet...it is out if this world.***

The wait staff is generally nice and the food is good, however the seats in the booths are horrible. They are very lumpy and uncomfortable, and you sink in, in different spots. I do prefer booths overall, but until the seats are changed I will be using the regular tables and chairs

Have gone to Peppertree for many years. Great place to take the family or have a business gathering. The service and food are always good, and you cant beat the personalitys of the staff. The wait for service is so much shorter than anywhere else I have ever been.

The food was OK and the service was pretty good. But the ambiance wasnt. Dumpy place with out much character. Old and run down. I was there for a private party which was hosted in a room in the back that felt like a basement that had been remodeled in the 70s.

Great old school American diner. Food is predictable and a lot of it. Clientele skews older, waitresses are all seasoned and can be fiesty. Decor is a little outdated. Its awesome. One of my go-to diners when I need that.

fast and excellent service. French toast was fantastic and you definitely get your monies worth! Wish they used real butter and maple syrup. that is only thing holding them back from 5 ****. You should still go there.

Service has gotten better, definitely come here for dim sum on weekends, its really a tourist spot for people outside of la that come here to enjoy Peppertree Cafe. Lots of locals also come here to eat.

The bone in ham steak for breakfast is unbelievable gotta be more then a pound, be ready to take half of it home. Have the biscuits and gravy to go with it. Kathy the waitress is the Greatest.

Wonderful homely feeling from the decor. Fresh food. I am vegan so I only ordered a hot tea, hashbrowns, and toast. Nonetheless the potatoes were delicious and exactly the right consistincy.
