The Mantra is the best placement of a well thought out and ingenious conceptual design top shelf cafe, Beanerie Ive seen. Ever, Fore! We Wallow in fathoming Ambient lights trotting comfortably along. I posted the below, review earlier this afternoon, however, there was indeed miscommunication. I have changed my rating to a more positive outcome. Thank you for responding Mantra. Regards Kul *************************************************************************** Good ambience but the customer service really let us down. We even sent an email to talk to someone in Mantra rather than leaving a public review to work out an amicable outcome but our e-mail was completely ignored! My wife and I made a special 30 min trip to Mantra on the 30th of April around 730 pm. We were served by a lady - 2 coffee’s coupled with a chocolate cake - $17.25. Half way though our cake we found a long piece of hair. The lady that served my wife and I was outside where we were sitting setting up the heaters so I took the opportunity to show her the hair in the cake. I was disappointed in her reaction and approach. Her words were similar to “we do not bake them here rather buy it from bakery”. The latter comment was disappointing indeed but what astonished both my wife and I was that the staff member did not care to replace the cake (we did not request one as it would be seem obvious gesture). We did finish the cake (I do not think a piece of hair is all that of an issue, however, the way it was handled was poor). We entered a warmly place with eagerness, however, left with disappointment! I have to admit, one doesnt usually find many high-quality coffee shops outside of the bustling hub that is LA- particularly the hipster spots- but this hidden little gem is holding its own amongst the best of them. According to my friend, who happens to live nearby, it isnt only cranking out some of the best-quality coffee, pastries, & local merchandise, but its philanthropic as well, giving a portion of its proceeds to improving the city. Hearing that, one would think the drinks are overpriced, & the service pretentious; but that couldnt be further from the truth. Not only are the drinks super affordable, (my superb cold brew only cost $3), the service is akin to what one would find at a mom-and-pop shop. And really, coming here literally feels like youre walking into someones house with a very nice living room & cozy seating areas both inside & outside. The walls are lined with artwork, the coffee is robust, the lattes are creamy, the hot cocoa is sweet, & the cold brews are strong; the pastries taste homemade & the seating is comfortable & plentiful. If you arent a local or acquainted with one, chances are youve never heard of this place. But Im telling you right now, it is not to be missed. I dont care what time it is. Theyre open until 1AM, so really, theres no excuse for hesitation. And yes, Wi-Fi is included in the deal, you laptop junkies!

I love the feel of this cozy and decorative residential house turned coffee shop. Its on a pretty big and busy residential street, snuggled in between other homes. Its a great space to get some work done or to meet up with friends. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the Vietnamese Coffee. It was not what I was expecting... pretty much a small shot of coffee with lots of condensed milk. Not poured over ice or anything. The coffee had a burnt taste. I ended up asking for a cup of ice and poured in the coffee. It was slightly better. My friend ordered the cold brew and he said it tasted burnt, too. Perhaps I came on an off day. If I was ever in the area again, I would come by and give this place another shot.

I am from Glendora and I happened to see Mantra Coffee on my way to dinner down the street. The large bright, very nice design of their lit-up sign caught our eyes, then the whole upgrade of the building, great job on the upgrade caught our eyes next. We stopped by after dinner to check it out. We were greeted, I think by the owner who gave us some great suggestions. All of our coffees tasted great. The staff did a great job and was very helpful. Their desserts looked really good especially the Berry Cheesecake but we did not have any room for dessert after dinner but we will save room on our next visit. If you dont live in Azusa area, Mantra Coffee is definitely worth the drive out of your way.

Was driving by and needed some time to wait for my friend! This place is pretty cute, cozy and well decorated coffee spot. Amazing atmosphere inside the cafe and outside in the patio. Its bright and comfortable with chilling vibes, welcoming and friendly staff! I spent time chatting with the barista about their coffee, blends and roasting. They have lots of drinks and desserts with bakeries on their menu to choose from! I took the cold Brew and the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Both were very delicious. Thanks for the nice time.

The facility: Nice ambience, especially if you are a student. They also have comfortable sofas as well. Moreover, if the place gets crowded (which I think it does) they have a nice patio area with plenty of chairs, tables, and umbrellas to block the sun. The food: the coffee crumb cake is the bomb! I think they need to spliff-up their pastries presentation, plus maybe add breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Overall, the outer and inner perimeter of the property is very pleasing to the eye.

Amazing ambiance, bad coffee. Ive been here 3 times and gotten an Americano (3/5 palatable but not even Starbucks), the French press (2/5 over steeped, acidic), and regular limitless drip (I think my first cup was from yesterdays batch because it tasted terrible and gave me a stomach ache). THAT BEING SAID the environment is amazing, the decor and indoor/outdoor seating is superb, and the customers are all super friendly.
