The cafe was a nice surprise. A friend and I biked there for breakfast. The menu is posted on the wall in a large, easy to read print, listing ingredients and prices. I ordered the breakfast bowl, which was delicious, but way more than I could eat. I easily could have split it with my friend. Both of us had leftovers! I thought the prices were very fair, especially because the food was plentiful and delicious. The only thing I would improve is the cleanliness of the eating area. It is outside and the seat cushions looked filthy and the tables felt dirty. The employee washing the tables used a dirty rag which basically just pushed the dirt around instead of really cleaning the tables. I will definitely go back for the excellent food but I recommend a lesson in cleaning to the staff working there!

So glad my friend told me about this place because I wouldnt have come across it otherwise. Its right by the Chevy Chase Country Club and in a beautiful residential area. There is plenty of outdoor seating and heaters so we were able to sit outside on a cold day. They serve Peets Coffee and my cappuccino was good. I loved my breakfast bowl. It was delicious and they listened to my requests of what to leave out. I definitely plan on going back and trying the waffles next time. The only thing I would change is maybe adding some light background music outside so its not super quiet out there but otherwise loved everything.

This is where I met my boyfriend / lover for life most handsome dude ever for the first time, so its good in my book for that reason alone.Aside from that, the selection is diverse, the staff are friendly, and the location is great. The coffee itself, however, is too strong, too expensive, and never fails to make me feel poppy afterward. Not my favorite, but not horrible either

I gave this place a five because I love the secluded location in Chevy Chase canyon next to the golf course. With the seating outside and a quiet atmosphere its great. Ive only had iced americanos and hot americanos and some cambucha of which all I enjoyed. I decided to rate at a 5 for the experience I have drinking coffee there. I dont have any complaints

A 50/50 place. Looks great and the food is ok but too overpriced. The service also deserves improvement, long wait time and if you charge 15 bucks for a simple sandwich, at least serve it on a normal plate with a choice of sides not on a paper one with barely edible chips as a single option. The coffee is completely terrible.

Great atmosphere. Good food. I expected more of a sit down restaurant. Reality is that it is an indoor grill and market with outdoor seating. The food was good and very filling. The outdoor seating area is very peaceful. All in all a nice place to eat and hang out.

A small but comfortable spot to stop for breakfast or lunch. Most of the seating is outdoors on the covered patio (the road noise can get a little loud). The breakfast burrito was packed with flavor and super tasty ... though a little on the small size.

A really beautiful location tucked away by the side of the road. The staff was accommodating and helped my dietary restrictions with ease. The resulting food was delicious, especially the fries with resounding compliments around the table. Great place

Yummy food with generous portions. I thought expensive for what you get, but its also a really chill place to settle in for a few hours. Gotta try riding my bike here along the awesome Chevy Chase route to earn my massive meal next time

Tucked away in a canyon and next to a country club, this place is weird. It looks like a gas station. Chicken and waffles are nice. They served awesome treats and desserts. A neat surprise if youre looking for a fun change of pace.

Lovely spot for relaxing brunch. It is a rather peculiar setup- a converted gas station is now a mini market and served great food. Price is high but so is quantity and quality. Crispy chicken is especially good.

Space is pleasant. Food was above average. Disappointed to see all the plates, utensils and cups were disposable and filling up a landfill. Cant you use plates and glasses?

I was not satisfied with this place, being a person who loves breakfast their prices were too high for the food since it was pretty tasteless. Also the staff looked unhappy.

A pleasant breakfast on a cool ,rainy day. The canopy had ceiling mounted heaters. Comfortable seating. Excellent breakfast . Potato order too oversized, but good.

Amazing oak tree covering the whole place...true to the name. Majority is outdoor seating with great desserts and dishes. Croissant sandwiches are my favorite.

Great place tucked away in the neighborhood. Their breakfast offerings are pretty solid, and they have a small market section if you want to grab a drink to go.

Fabulous food and drinks. Love the place. Edmond, the manager, served the best coffee. My family and I loved everything and will definitely go there again soon!

Kinda got all the charm of a gas station, inside and out, but its a weird place to eat breakfast under the oak trees (and gas pump shelter) so we like it.

The girl with the purple is not nice at all. She treated lots of people badly☹️ Also the donuts were old. My other food was amazing
