Ordered online, and when I got there to pick it up the young male was friendly enough, but the young female that seemed to be in charge was not friendly toward him and in turn that made me not feel comfortable. The biggest problem however was that there was BARELY ANY STEAK on the sandwiches! It was like eating bread with cheese and a few pieces of cut up steak thrown on. Terrible, and being from Buffalo, NY which has a lot of cheesesteak places given its proximity to Philadelphia, I know how a cheesesteak sandwich is supposed to be made. There were 7 little cut up steak pieces on my girlfriends junior sandwich, and 18 on my full size sandwich. We are talking about maybe Quarter-to-half dollar sized pieces of thin steak like steak-ums. Totally unacceptable. Maybe the Arcata location is better.

Vegetarian friendly menu was much appreciated! We were able to order from the menu and substitute soy instead of the meat. Our Teriyaki and Pizza Philly sandwiches were delicious! We think they used textured vegetable protein (TVP), which seems like a good fit. Also, the size options were nice because a junior was plenty for me, while my husband got the regular. Its a little pricey at $9 for a regular, but these are filling without causing us to feel overful / sluggish. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was our first visit so we were slow on the order but he was patient and answered our questions. Food came out very quickly, maybe 5 minutes. We signed up for the free loyalty reward program because we plan on coming back!

Recently moved to northern Cali. From Eastern Pa, wasnt sure if I dared to try there rendition of a Philly cheese steak, But I was impressed, cheese steak was better than some of the places in PA Philly area, To make things even better,they had butterscotch krimpits made by Patasty cake companyservice was great friendly pleasant Staff, I recommend it to anyone who knows what a cheese steak should be,only thing missing was Mrs.Ts perogies....thank you... I will be eating there again n again...

OMG these are the best!! The Double-Double is the bomb, but the Cool Ranch Chicken is great, too. Well worth the trip (we live 3+ hours north) Jimmy H (who gave a 1 star rating) must work for a competitor, weve been there (& the Arcata store) dozens of times & always get good service with a smile (we have actually asked about opening a branch in Grants Pass). Enjoy

WARNING!! I have ate here many times but Everytime the girls are cooking the sandwiches are much smaller then they should be. I would say to anyone who goes in dont bother if the girls are cooking you definitely dont get what you pay for. this has happened many times.

Im from Philadelphia, love cheese steaks, this shop does a fairly good 1. Little juicier your meat would been better, nice roll, good cheese not many onions though. A good did have good Italian hot cherry peppers and good pickles - a must for a real philadelphian.

OMG! These people are SO slow! And then they gave me a small sandwich when I ordered and PAID for a footlong sandwich! Should have looked in the bag before I left, but was expecting to receive what I ordered and paid for. DONT GO THERE!!!

I love this place!! Im from NY so I know a good cheese steak and this is the best place out here! If you get the hungry man you get extra meat and cheese, you can barely close the sandwich!! I can never finish it in 1 sitting

This place is great. They some of the best the best vegetarian food in Humboldt. Really good soy cheese steaks. I like the one with teriyaki. But anyways the staff are also great. I highly recommend checking them out.

One of my favorite places to eat in Eureka. I have tried, and failed, to find a better cheese steak than Ive had here. The staff is always pleasant, and if you call in an order they never take longer than 20 minutes.

Good vegetarian options with a soy substitute instead of meat. Only problem I would say is that they dont let you take the cheese steak challenge with that substitution. Try the Spicy Cool, its pretty great!
