3 reviews 5.0 star rating 4/28/2016 First, I would like to say that no one, in any way, asked me to write this review. I do not personally know anyone that works for this restaurant except for the people that my wife and I met yesterday. My wife wanted to come here for her birthday. I told her that I had been to the one in Concord and was not that impressed. Since it was her day, we decided to give it a try. They first gave us a booth that had the speaker loudly playing over head. My wife asked if we could move, no problem. They gave us a nice booth on the other side of the room. Our server, Kalin, was awesome. Quick-witted and very nice to both of us. I told her that this was my wifes first time here and that it was her birthday as well. The manager, Adrian, gave us a complimentary "first visit" flat bread. We both had the NY Steak that was grilled to perfection for both of us. I meant to ask what they use in their mashed potatoes, great flavor. At the end of the meal Adrian says, the woman sitting in the corner, Roxanne, is the Chief Operating Office for Lazy Dog. She was up from LA and noticed us and decided to welcome us to "The Lazy Dog Family" and picked up our whole TAB!!!!!!!!!! We were blown away to say the least. Roxanne talked to us and I explained that I had been to the one in Concord 2 years ago and was not impressed. She became COO about a year and a half ago and since has changed management at the Concord location so I will try them again as well. I forgave her for being a Padre fan, seeing as how the Giants had just finished crushing them. Roxanne is a huge asset to this business and has made us definitely want to go back. BTW --- the menu has something for everyone from pizza, burgers, steak, pasta, even wok-fried items. We will be back, not just because Roxanne picked up the tab, however, our steaks were fantastic as was everything we had. Thanks again for making my wifes birthday a memorable one!

The atmosphere provides for a great dining experience and the service was above average but wait time is horrendous. On our visit with reservations the wait was over an hour and a half past due with a couple of miscues (they give you a signal device) but were still not ready causing to lose our seats in the waiting room. Turns out they took too many reservations for the time frame which they gave us extra appetizers but only after our insistence. The menu and the food was above par including chicken and fish dishes along with steak. The burgers on the other hand they just dont seem to get. 2 in our party ordered them and both were not cooked to the order. The medium well burger was very rare - only to come back medium rare and gad to sent back again. The other burger was missing cheese and also not cooked to order. This resulted in a wait for them of another 15 minutes while the rest of us ate. So skip the burger unless another chef is available. They are little pricey but other then the burgers the other dishes were very delicious - the fish and chips are great. They also have a nice bar and covered outdoor seating. If they would fix reservation issues and address customers with service problems better they would earn higher ratings as well as their bottom line with repeat visits. They need to offer more when they make errors instead of the customer having to make a case out of it. Ill try again in a few months.

After the warriors won, my family decided to go out to LazyDog. After they were seated, they patiently waited for the waiter to serve them water. Truly, the service was so slow that it took the waiter longer then we could have imagined serving everyone glass of water. And forget about taking the food or drinks order. Service - rated as 1 star. Heres my reasoning for one star; we ordered appetizers and entrée. They took their sweet time to bring the first appetizer and 20 minutes later brought the second set of appetizers. And shortly after that, they served us with entrée. We didnt have time to grab all the appetizers at the table. At that point, we were confused whether to eat appetizers or our meal. Food - The appetizers were good but the food were bland and it wasnt appealing. None of my families enjoyed their tacos. The appetizers were great so another star for that. Recommendation: If you plan to try out this place then dont go in big groups or late at night. This restaurant is not on my families future go to list.

Lazy Dog has great food and generally good staff. Id say the staff at this location weighs much more on the good side than many of the other sit-down restaurants in the area. Dog friendly outdoor seating is a great bonus, its hard for folks to have dogs and need to leave them behind for most social events, this place not only likes dogs but has stuff for them on the patio so they arent ignored. Their menu has a wide enough selection of foods to keep a diverse crowd happy but not so extensive that it takes forever to choose something. While Ive had some things that werent high on my list its all been prepared well so its just a personal preference issue on my part. Their portions are good and Ive never left unsatisfied. The place gets busy, I prefer to go earlier than the normal dinner crowd so we dont have a long wait but if you get there too early they dont have all of the tables open so you end up waiting anyway. Once you go a few times you start to find your groove, and this is a place worth becoming a regular stop.

On this visit, I was with my family celebrating my nephews graduation/promotion. Our party had 13 people, and I have to say the wait staff did a wonderful job of taking our orders and being attentive. I have never had a problem with Lazy Dog Restaurant, they have decent size portions, their prices are affordable and their desserts are really good. There was more than enough food, appetizers, our main courses, and desserts. It was quite the celebration. The Bar area is huge, great for watching sports games, they have plenty of large screens, so even if youre not seated in the Bar area you can be watching from where youre sitting for dinner. I ordered the chicken piccata, unfortunately, I wasnt very happy with what I ordered, I have had better. Now I know better to not order that dish. This location of Lazy Dog is located in a huge shopping center too, parking can be a little bit of a pain during the peak hours and holidays. But I would return to Lazy Dog Restaurant.

Lazy Dog is always a treat for my boyfriend and me when running errands in the Dublin area. The food is always delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Yesterday’s experience deserves a huge kudos. I ordered the Hummus Trio and asked for the flatbread to be dry with no butter or cheese. Someone in the kitchen clearly recognized that the customer who placed this order may be a vegan. A manager, Adrian, came out to our table and indicated that the walnut hummus had cheese in it, and he wanted to make sure I was aware of that. Talk about above and beyond! We were very impressed that a manager took the time to come out and personally talk to a customer to make sure she knew that a portion of her lunch was not vegan. Many restaurants would just turn a blind eye and not care about the customer’s wishes to adhere to a special diet. This experience epitomizes our regular experiences at Lazy Dog. Incredible food. Incredible customer service… At all levels.
