$1 a slice woohoo! Theres only pepperoni as an option for single slices, but thats fine with me... warm cheesy goodness is all I need. The crust is very doughy, so depending on your crust preference, you may not like it. So usually, pizza places have parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes that you can sprinkle on your slice. But Sweet Basil also has... sweet basil! Its another container of powdery stuff to add on top of your pizza. Yup, its good. As I tried to detect the flavors, I could taste basil and garlic. We tried to be slick and ask what was in there... but no no.. the owner said it was a secret recipe! Its a very small place with only a few stools and a TV. The two guys working there are pretty nice to chit chat with. Moreover, they let you bring your own beverages from the 7-11 next door. Even beer! Just make sure you have your ID for them to let you drink alcohol in their shop :)

Greasy and so-so pricing, crust was decent but I could hardly find any sauce. Toppings were at least 20% grease, even on the supreme. $15 for a pizza, take-n-bake for $11. An employee cracked a beer and had some while watching the game, which doesnt bother me especially but it makes you wonder what other health code violations there are... Establishment is pretty clean, open floorplan and a nice red brick oven. Cash only, so plan ahead or spend $4 for the "convenience" of not having to carry cash at the ATM next-door.

Ive had various types of pizza and I would have to say hands down that nothing, I mean NOTHING compares to that of Sweet Basil! I stopped by for a few $1 slices today and a regular customer that was having lunch there told me "See that $1 a slice sign out on the window? That sign has been there for the 8 years since Ive been coming here" That says a lot about how awesome this place is, but more so its the food that speaks for itself!

THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!! THEY DO NOT WASH THEIR HANDS BETWEEN HANDLING THE CASH, OR TAKING OUT TRASH, THEN HANDLING THE FOOD!!! Their food is also a tad bit overpriced ($10 for a large 1-topping pizza vs Dominos or Little Ceasars who does $5 for the same pizza). Their dough/crust is very good and doesnt appear frozen but the pizza itself is pretty greasy.

Great place to go for a slice of pizza. Ive been going here for 17 plus years. The guys here are very nice! They gave me a free bottle of house seasonings when I mentioned the passing of my grandmother. They were very attentative which u I always appreciate! Super nice guys. I definitely recommend this place!

Classic neighborhood American pizza restaurant. When I got there, there are bunch of families and friends, drinking beer and joking loud. I asked pizza slice and coke, but the master responded no drink there. $1/slice pizza was pretty big and reasonably good, but I didnt like the atmosphere.

Best Pizza!!! The ingredients are the freshest, and the service is excellent!!! These guys know what theyre doing...I definitely recommend this place if you want a fresh pie for a good price...I am definitely looking forward to watching football this season and calling up these guys...

My coworker just told me about this place today...I can promise you I was dumbfounded by the excellent quality pizza and almost unbelieveable price. Im definitely gonna be a regular from now on :D

Bad customer service, employees dont wash their hands, saw guy cough and handle food disgusting, calling health dept. Not to mention out of items on the menu, good for me. poorly managed.
