Pompeii is open. and under new management.. It still has the BEST pizza around.. with REAL crust and toppings made frest .. I was saddened when it iclosed. but they are back.. my earlier review is now obsolete pompeii pizza is open. I was saddened and shocked to learn that after being an icon for so many years, I will never again be aable to experience their Mt. Vesuvius pizza or enjoy the comfortable atmosphere, excellent food, service and the conversation with the owner who made a point to make every customer feel special with a friendly smile and remembering your name even if you were not a regular....

I have ate there before and it wasnt bad pretty good.... but last night i ate there again we ordered a salad and ravioli. 1st of all as soon as i poor my salad i find a black bug it was really disgusting and the ravioli was horrible didnt looked cooked just looked and taste like it was thrown in a microwave. All night I couldnt sleep was throwing up all night and still as i write this feel very weak and my stomach is really hurting. After restaurants change cooks its never the same. BEWEAR OF THIS HORRIBLE GOOD GONE BAD RESTAURANT THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS BEFORE THE KILL SOMEONE. =(

Yes, it is open with the original dishes we love. Prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful. My family and I have been coming here for years. It did change a while back, but it is back to the same menus. The big screen TVs have sports going or the news. Always a good place for basic Italian food.

My family loves it... We are usually a large group and the service and the wait time for your food is extremely fast... Perfect for my hungry boys! The Pizza and lasagna are delish! Reasonable prices too.

BEST PLACE EVER !!!!! The pizza was amazing n the crust was soft and thick, the cheese and sauce are just so perfect and the service is good too, they were so nice, this is my new favorite pizza place !!

We got there about 7 and there was only one waitress for the whole restaurant which got pretty busy. We ended up waiting about 2 hours total for some decent food. Ive been to better places!

The crust tasted almost cake like, delicious. The La Puente style had a deep crust with the next layer being cheese, followed by the meat, and a top layer sauce. Best pizza I have ever had.

Pompeiis is a personal favorite in La Puente, me and my girlfriend eat there as often as once a month and the service is spectacular and the food is to die for.
