In-N-Out Burger was busy when I arrived with two hungry boys 13 and 15. We went here because a gift card with $20 was to be used for lunch. The gift card was enough for 2 double-doubles p, 2 shakes, 2 fries and a burger to go. So, i had to buy my own lunch. I had ordered a cheeseburger with extra onions and no lettuce. It was on the receipt but the special instructions were disregarded and when i asked for a burger, the way i asked for it, i received a cold burger. I then alerted the manager on duty and then received a burger the way i ordered it...it was not hot, or fresh, it was dry and warm, the burger, even chewy., the other ingredients were fresh. The fries were fresh and I requested 2 cups of fresh coffee with creamer. The order taker looked at me like i had asked for a piece of cheese from the moon. I know what good food is and what it should taste like and i read that since 1948, IN-N-OUT is all about the quality of the beef (not frozen)..ok...but non-juicy, chewy burgers are un-appetizing as well. The management relayed apologies. Wendys has the In-N-Out burgers beat. I wont be going back to this location any time soon..no care about the quality of food served will have a business going out of business quickly.

Great place to eat. The parking is sometimes tricky because of the drive through line being so long. This is a good sign that people love this place. Patience is required to sometimes find parking. The drive through is probably the best because theres usually someone outside taking orders so you can hear them and you know they hear you too. I usually order double double with whole grilled onion. Great tasting burger at a good price. The beef patty is tasty with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. The fries are usually fresh because you can see the workers cleaning and cutting them in the back. Every few times, I do get some fries thats been cooked in old oil but it doesnt happen often so Im good. I love the milk shake, its awesome. Taste like real ice cream :) I read a review about Wendys being better than In N Out. If you cant tell the difference in quality of the two, I dont think it will matter where you go. Definitely would recommend anyone here to get a great burger.

Ok, so most of us have to admit we love In n Out. The food is basically the same at all of them, so aside from rare screw ups, you know exactly what youre getting foodwise. As far as this location goes though, its not worth it unless you luck out and get there when its not crowded. Just getting through the parking lot most nights is a flippin obstacle course requiring both great agility and fighting skills since they insist on having two entrances for one line. Good luck if you get stuck trying to merge into the line when its already out onto both Firestone and Lakewood. I wish the owners of that location, the city, or the PD would try to get some changes made on the whole corner because its a complete clusterf*ck most of the time and I often see close calls between cars and people. Sorry, In n Out, but even though your foods good, you can suck it like Trebeck until you get your crap together.

The place was packed, but the food is good. The place was a bit of a mess, but that is OK, because, the food. I had a friend take me here on a recent trip. I had heard of the great In-N-Out burger, but did not know what the big deal was. Honestly, the big deal is that it taste like what you would make at home. It does not taste like pre-packaged McDonalds or Wendys. It tastes like food. I did not get a chance to try any "secret menu" items, but I enjoyed my burger and my shake. I mentioned before how busy the place was, and that is OK. If I lived in the area, I would make it my late night hangout as well.

I love In-N-Out... A protein style burger is my thaaaang... YUM! Any burger from there is bomb and the fries are really good. Get some chopped chilies in your burger if you know whats good for you. The pink lemonade is a smidge sweet so I just add a little agua. Get some cheese fries and ask for a packet of special sauce and youve got yourself animal style fries. Unless you really enjoy the grilled onions, then ask for the real deal. Again- add the chopped chilies to that too! Its an LA burger staple.

if youre a downey kid this is the place to be, no matter how old you are now. you probably remember being in high-school and hanging out here after class, or after a game, even if you werent into the whole school-spirit, there were time when you happened to pass by this burger joint and notice how much it felt like the downey high cafeteria. well, it still feels that way. this place is always packed! the service is quick and the food is great, thats for sure. the shakes are good, the fries are amazing!

This is my first time eating in a In-N-Out restaurant that i can honestly say hands down it was the best experience ever!!I have gone to others and the service is not as well as this one..I love how the workers are working as team they are communicating among eachother and that right there helps to get your food on time and with the least amount of time waiting for it.And the food was amazing everything about this dine in experience was PERFECT.Thank you for this experience see you soon!!

Been going to this In-N-Out since forever. They are pretty inconsistent though. Food always tastes acceptable but sometimes Ill get fries burnt and hard as potato chips, and sometimes theyll be just right. Burgers are usually always ok but sometimes the buns are cold and not really warmed up or toasted like I prefer.

The dine in lobby is way too crowded all the time and the drive thru is so slow and busy all the time. It is a one lane drive thru, so people need to stop making two lines for it. Firestone & Lakewood are very busy streets so you have to be careful that no other vehicles hit you. The food is amazing though.

This In-n-Out never ever fails to make me happy (: sure, there have been times where I ask for extra onion or something and I dont get it, but I understand that they are very busy sometimes (all the time, honestly) and they cant always be perfect. But they continue to be more than perfect for me (:

Pretty typical In N Out location. The drive through line weaves through the parking lot, so if the drive through is busy, good luck getting out of your parking space. Spoiler alert, the drive through is ALWAYS busy! Food comes out just as quick as other locations and tastes just the same: Perfect.

I am surrounded by three In N Outs Downey, Huntington Park and South Gate. But we always choose this one. Speedy cashiers, excellent customer service and clean facilities. Karina gave me an excellent experience today that demonstrates why this location will continue to have lines out the door.

Even with a drive-thru line out to the street, they made sure to get us in and out within 5 minutes. Food was hot and fresh; animal fries were loaded to the brim and my grilled cheese was just the way I asked, down to a T. Friendly drive thru staff and clean parking lot, would visit again.
