The cake I bought from the case was not as fresh as I expected it to be. Less expensive than similar quality cakes in the area. Their web site is years out of date, and DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT STORE HOURS. I had to go there before the website posted hours of operation, when in reality they were open for another 3 or 4 hours. Knowing that would have saved me 40 minutes of driving (I could have picked up the cake on my way to the event if they had posted their actual hours). Big waste of my time. When I informed them of the issue on the website, they were indignant and argumentative. That is crap service IMO. They informed me that the web site would never be changed, no matter how out of date or wrong.

I visit La Patisserie on a fairly frequent basis to pick up cakes for parties and cookies and baked treats for gifts and during the holiday time. Everyone at home is a big fan of their macaroons that are in short supply and in popular flavors. The also offer a whole lot of baked pastries and cookies by the pound. It might seem expensive at first glace ($10.5 a pound) but you get quite a bit of value for the money you pay. The cookies are all to die for. I have also picked up birthday and event cakes from their bakery and they tend to be on the pricier side (about $28 and over for a normal size birthday cake that serves 8 people). The cakes have all been big hits at every party I have taken them to.

To me, this place has the best (finest = lightness, texture, flavor, appearance) cakes around, albeit a bit pricey for the "goods". American wages and standard of living is what I blame it on - not price gouging. I do wish there existed a **true** french bakery (breads, baguettes, rolls, croissants.) sadly, cupertino only (and thankfully, too) has Boudins (rolls and baguettes tho not french style) and Paris Baguette (croissants) I have yet to find an excellent *french* croissant outside San Francisco!

Tried the Chocolate cake......after paying $30, I actually distributed the cake to my neighbours and friends saying eat with caution.....coz it was so freaking sweet & just too rich to be edible. a small bite was enuf to not try another bite for the day. A friend got their Burnt almond cake. I like the burnt almond layer, but again the cake was just too sweet for me and I like Sweet!

Very good shop, very tasty cupcakes Visited this store recently while walking around and was very impressed. They had a very nice selection of unique cupcakes and the store is very nicely decorated. I spoke with the owner and they were very knowledgeable about their shop. Highly recommended to visit there after a movie or a trip to the mall, it will be worth it!

Came here one afternoon and got a chocolate truffle cake and two raspberry chocolate thumbprint cookies. The cookies were delicious. Just as I remembered them from when I was a kid. The cake was okay but I felt it was just...normal? Very plain, just chocolate. If Im here again with M Ill get the Hazelnut Bliss which people seem to rave about.

The star: Burnt almond cake. No fail there will always be someone waiting until the end to scavenge the leftover candied almonds. The cookies and pastries are also delicious, as well as the meticulously detailed pastries. I especially like the Spanish wedding cookies and thumbprint cookies - not overly sweet, and always fresh.

Visited for the first time and bought a mango mousse cake. Very disappointed. The mango mousse filling felt like eating raw egg, never eaten worse mousse. Too much whipped cream on the cake, which in my opinion, is what bakers do when they run out of ideas. Not coming back, I am going to stick with the Whole Foods bakery.

Superb cakes. My wedding cake was made by this bakery. I didnt order a traditional custom-made fondant wedding cake because 1) I dont like fondant icing, and 2) I had a small wedding, so I just got a B-52 (yes, that is really the name of the cake). Everything Ive ever had at this place has been delicious.

Not sure what to say about this place. Its not bad but not great either. Dont think they bake their pastries daily. Prices are not too outrageous but not cheap either. Parking is easy except during lunch time.

Great cake options....if youre getting red velvet make sure to ask for the cream cheese frosting instead of the butter cream.

Extremely creamy, very little cake. If that is what you like then this Patisserie is for you. Not for me!

Decent pastries, was not too amazed, but they will beat anything you grab from a grocery store.
