I came here for dinner, and although there seemed to be a lot of people eating inside, we got seated right away. I noticed that there were also a good number of people eating alone... which I personally think is an indicator of a good restaurant because that means that people are able to put aside their pride and eat by themselves because the food alone is a great company. I also noticed that around half of the customers were not Korean--another positive indicator of a good, Korean restaurant because the restaurant draws not just Koreans. I got the vegetable dumpling tofu stew. It was really hot so I had to wait for it to cool down before I could get started on it. It wasnt too spicy, but because it was so hot, my nose got super runny... heh. The tofu stew comes with a lottttt of tofu... which can be good or bad depending on how much you like tofu. I got five dumplings in my stew which made me pretty happy because other dumpling tofu stews Ive had at other places only gave me two or three. The tofu stew cleared up my headache so that was nice :). Service is great!! The waiters came by to check up on us pretty often, and I felt very cared for!! Very respectful, courteous, and friendly!! You also get complimentary Yakult after you finish eating!! Drinking it definitely made my mouth calm down after all that hot and spicy food.

In A Nutshell: -Had some out-of-town guests visiting and wanted to take them out to some Korean tofu soup. -Kong Tofu & BBQ Korean Cuisine wasnt our first choice, but we were glad there was a place open on a Sunday night. -The restaurant was pretty big inside and was pretty busy. -The service was solid and attentive. -The al jigae (fish roe tofu soup) was just okay. Nothing really stood out, but it was still palatable. -The galbi and bulgogi were pretty good and would recommend ordering the galbi. Overall, this is good spot and good to know its open on a Sunday night.

Every time I visit, I feel like I have walked into my Korean friends homes. One person very calmly hovers over the cashier, while a bunch of waitresses furiously run around with dishes and utensils. This usually means very fast service in and out for lunch! We usually arrive around 11:30-11:45am and there is not too long of a wait for a 4+ persons table. My favorites are the tofu soup and kalbi lunch specials with red rice The dolsot bibimbap is also good. For the non-adventurous, white rice is also offered.

Rude manager! 1st visit: Manager points out that my party (of 9) is 10 minutes late to our reservation in a curt tone. 2nd visit: My party of 9 (again) is on time. We finish our meal in 53 minutes. The manager says "many hungry guests are waiting for your table...". Suggesting guests to leave is offensive in most cultures, especially Asian. Note to manager: Know that there are many Korean places in the South Bay. You better relocate if you keep up your manners.

This a place that I visit regularly. They have quality food at great prices and superior customer service. I love everything about this place. The wait staff is very attentive and kind. The side dishes are delicious. I never get tired of the Kim Chee there so I always ask for an extra order. Their tofu stew is superb and I also love their tacos. Another excellent entree is their short ribs. They are fantastic! I would highly recommend this place.

Good service. Good tea. Tofu is tofu. The service was great. I give these guys points for proactively asking which side dishes we end refilled. Its not common for Korean places to do this. They were pretty friendly about it. There was also choco pie available on the way out for dessert. Cost is 15$ pp after tax and tip for tofu.

We have eaten here many times. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The are very attentive and hospitable. I have never once had a meal come to our table that was incorrect, or anything short of deliciously prepared. I feel like family when I eat here. I love the spicy rice cake appetizer and the bbq short ribs.

Best Korean in the South Bay. The Banchan is great, and the soon tofu is excellent. The broth has an excellent flavor and the spice level is always exactly as I ask for it. The service is quick, efficient and nice. The man who owns the place always tells funny jokes too, if thats your thing.

Food: 4 Decor: 3 Service: 3 Came here for lunch after I realized the cafe I wanted to go to was for Apple employees only. Beef and veggie special, 12 ~Pretty good. Came out steaming hot, and the banchan was good. Would have liked cucumbers instead of squash though.

This is our regular Korean standby. The seafood pancake (pajun) is crispy and huge - could be a meal for two in itself. The tacos are another favorite. I dont think anything will blow you away, but it is very reasonably priced, high quality and yummy food.

This place has very good soft tofu stew and decent side dishes. I have found their service professional and friendly too. Its a popular place and if you come in groups more than four, making a reservation might be a good idea.

Ate here with my parents. Ordered the short rib BBQ, chicken ramen, and seafood tofu, and seafood pancake. Everything was good. Side dishes were flavorful, and had little flavored drinks for desert. Total price: $51 bucks.

Tried the beef steak and beef cold noodle, didnt meet our expectation. The "steak" was just thin slices of marinated beef that I dont think should be called steak. The beef in the cold noodle was overcooked and dry.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend the barbecued short rib and the white ramen. Also, they have great staff and are very speedy when it comes to getting your food.

The only bad thing about this place is that youll eat so much because its so damn good that youll feel like youre going to explode from having so much food in your stomach.

Bibinbap was pretty good. The spare ribs though were $20 and were just fat and bone not like real ribs. Lots of appetizers though which I liked. Service was good.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Simple Korean food without all the hip add-ons. Great atmosphere, prompt service. Great food at a great price.

Really enjoy the purple rice and the side dishes are decent. The soon dubu is OK, wish it was a bit more flavorful but if youre in the area its a good option!

They have the normal soft tofu and Korean BBQ offerings. Yummy food, not too crowded on weekday evenings, even during peak hours. Kid-friendly.

Reliable Korean food with free "baby tofu" for your little ones (they get mild tofu soup, rice, and of course all the small dishes).

Seafood pancake here is so good. Air circulation isnt too bad either so you dont leave with your hair smelling like korean BBQ.

I ordered the veggie dumpling tofu soup but I think they give me the pork dumpling tofu soup...otherwise everything is ok.
