Do you want to support live music? Dont come here because they dont. The doorman didnt keep track of who paid to see which band, and when we asked the owner/bartender about it, he said hed pay us at the end of the night. We were the only band that brought an audience, we kept them there all night (25 people who paid a cover and drank at his bar, in addition to the band who paid for their own drinks), and the end of the night he gave some BS about he didnt cover his overhead for the night. Because in is mind, our overhead, our rehearsal space, our equipment, our time and and promotional efforts are apparently all free and at his disposal. If you are absolutely desperate for a gig, throw a party at home instead. Your friends will save on the door cover and dont have to risk drunk driving so this guy can make his living off you.

In an effort to determine whether there would be a cover when I went with a group of friends to see a band, I called a couple days before to ask. The person answering the phone cursing and acting ridiculous explained she had no idea what I was talking about and to call back later. I called back a couple hours after, a second person answered and acted very irritated by the question, and hung up on me mid-followup question. I showed up, payed the door fee, started a tab and got a couple drinks (super weak). When I closed out, I was charged for two extra drinks. The bartender said she remembered me ordering all four drinks and my card would be charged for them. To summarize... rude staff, weak drinks, charged for extra drinks when I opened a tab. Classy joint eh?

For a little dive bar the drinks are over priced a got a beer in a dirty mug and when I informed them about my mug they they took my beer and poured it into another mug that was warm. So my friend and I wanted to leave so when I asked for the bill the bartender have us a really dirty look like we just insulted her. I live down the street and was hoping this would be my watering hole but Im not into stuck up bartenders that over charge for beers in dirty mugs

Kind of a hole-in-the-wall place, hidden in the industrial section of Costa Mesa. Ive seen a few bands there lately & while it was busy, it hasnt ever been completely full, so you can actually move around fairly easily. Its small, but its a good venue for small bands. They even have pool tables & an outdoor area. All of the staff weve dealt with are also very friendly & helpful.

Fun Venue, great acoustics & very affordable pricing. Shows here are usually much more personal & intimate due to the size, but its still large enough where youre NOT sardine packed like most smaller venues. Love this place & they have live music several nights a week. If you like like music & good drinks definitely a spot to check out.

Besides having two perfectly-felted 75¢ pool tables, the sophisticated-American food is generous and delicious, everyone is friendly and available, but most attractive about the Tiki Bar are the live performances by really very good bands of all kinds and from all places, Thursday through Saturday. GREAT place!

Dive Bar... Has two areas... the bar area with two coin-op pool tables and a stage area for live music. It quickly gets hot and stuffy inside with little ventilation and no ceiling fans. Seemed to be a locals hangout spot. Bartender was friendly enough. Not my favorite dive bar.

They book pretty good tribute and cover bands 10dollar per person cover....no drink minimum. Couple pool tables..mostly a standing venue while watching band...all drinks served in plastic cups...... needs remodeling and better parking

Kind of gross and dingy. The bartender wasnt very friendly when I went. Still, a Jameson and Sprite was $6 which I definitely cant complain about. I wouldnt exactly recommend this place, but its not horrible, either.
