Ive eaten at all three Contra Costa locations, and all three have limitations. Timing is everything at the WC location since its downtown & adjacent to a high school. The Pleasant Hill location is a joke - two other restaurants & an organic food supermarket share a small retail center - virtually impossible to park here at lunch time. Concord is the least accessible in terms of sitting for a meal. Whoever planned this place should be fired - it has the least seating of the three in an area that has : a major hotel, golf course, a college and three schools nearby, and is located on a street with heavy travel. The food is still in beta - fries are sometimes good, sometimes over-cooked; the burgers are good, but the condiments are disorganized. Given time things will even out, but unless diners are willing to brave the elements take out is probably the best - some times the only - option.

We visited for the second time recently. The staff are fantastic, service is great - friendly, fast and everything you could want. Sadly, on both occasions, the food was underwhelming. Not bad in any way, but just not the flavorful experience I hope for from a great burger. It may be my own taste preferences. The first time I had the Original Charburger, then tried the Teriyaki Charburger on the second visit. Nothing wrong per se, but there are so many great burger choices out there, The Habit just wont stay on my list.

Despite a box of gloves on the prep counter not one employee was wearing gloves for orrp of good. People pushing in and out of kitchen door touching their faces and then touching the food. Even post cook no one with gloves handling buns, lettuce, tomato and everything in between. So know anything you eat there you are also eating what the employees touched at home, in the bathroom, and on every door in between. If this is not a concern, you may enjoy the food. I left with conscious to my general health.

The line cooks dont wash their hands or wear glove when preparing food. I came in on 12/09/16 round 9:45. I ordered Mushroom Burger with fried, soda and 2 meat patty for no seasonings. It was late. The line cooks have pre-cooked much of beef patties and put on side of the flat top. One of the line cooks was handle food with his bare hands and touching the meat patties. The line cooks did not use tools and gloves. Then new employees came back from outside and start handling food without washing his hands.

If you want some real food, this place is it. Although this can be considered another fast food joint, their quality are top notch.. you dont see finger indentation in the burgers unlike some other places and everything is made fresh. My only gripe is parking is very difficult here, especially on the weekends and their lines can be out the door. If you want to come in, get your food and go, this aint happening. My burger and salad took well over 15 minutes.

I cant remember the last time any restaurant ever told me a coupon for a free item expired. The end of last year they gave me a coupon for a free burger. I hadnt used it until now, but when I tried they wouldnt take it. So left.. I mean, their food is alright, but it does give me the sh*ts. Why would I do business with them when they crushed my expectation of a free burger? Ive been saving that coupon for a rainy day, not cool Habit!

Hearing these burgers were great, so I couldnt wait until I had a chance to get one. Soo disappointed ! The burgers were tasteless and nothing to write home about. on top of that my little one ordered kids meal with Apple sauces and milk, they gave us apple slices instead and NO MILK! I had to go back to the counter and ask. And the place is over priced for the quality. There are better burger joints for the value & price.

I love, Love the Habbit. My only problem with this location is seating and the tables. You better come before the dinner or lunch rush because seating is so hard to get. About the tables, We have been going to this location for many months and they do not keep up with cleaning tables. We always have to clean the tables are selves.

I usually love the Habit but this location was slow and the employees in the front were so busy chatting with eachother and with friends who were there that we waited 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. There was no customers in line just us! I dont think Ill go back to that location.

$10.03 for a small burger w bacon meal. The burger meat was room temperature after waiting nearly 15 minutes with only 2 people ahead of us. The fries were ok but nothing special. Very disappointed. Definitely wont be back.

Classic habit experience. Ordered the caprese for 7 dollars and was a bit disappointed in the quality and serving size feeling less satisfying than a double char which is only 5.50ish.
