I have been there several times and am not impressed. I feel they are over priced for the quality of food and the size of the town. The food does not impress me because of some discrepencies on the menue. For example: a Cobb salad is a specific salad created by chef Cobb from Hollywood. A Cobb salad has Bleu Cheese Crumbles in it. The salad decribed on their menue has feta cheese and black olives. This is not a Cobb... I believe that would make it a Greek. After informing the owner of this error; I was met with the comment of, "thats just your opinion." I would say it would also be the opinion of chef Cobb as well. Other than that... I consider this establishment to be less than average... but it IS a small town. You can find me at Bobbies!

I usually do wrte reviews, but I have been cooking for 55 years. We moved here in 2011 and since then the food has gone down hill :(. We went for breakfast this morning, They had a group meeting in the back room with only waitress and that was Betty. Betty is assume, but to have her do this by herself very sad :(,. My husband & I had the chareizeo, fried egges, hasbrowns & sourdough bread. Pretty sad too when it was ground hamburger the chareizeo flavoring (gross)very salty. Plus breakfast for 2 was $31 plus tip:(,. Malso can see how people are gaining weight, because the portions are enough for 2 people and every one eats all of it. Probably will not be back. Main Street is just about he only restruant in Clearlake for breakfast.

Disappointing dinner. Dont go out much but took the wife and the kids for fried veggies and omlett 7:30 and watched two tables come and order and get served. While we were told that the reason its talking so long was due to hash brown. 8:20 a bunch it drinks later we get our dinner. Toddlers ready to go. Baby is over it. Daughters full off soda and crackers. Wife is stress and I finally get my plate take two bites and am over it. 78.00 bill 5 dollar tip I get five leftover trays for the dogs to eat. Yup there you have it from a fathers point if view

The Main Street Grill is a family-oriented company its got a great atmosphere and the people the bullies are very friendly their food is very good you get a lot of food for the price its not the cheapest place in the world but you do get all the food that you need its me more than worth it Im not get there because I enjoy the delicious food and the kindness that the servers show they will make sure that your experience at the Main Street Grill is a good one and you will want to come back

We traveled to Clear Lake California for vacation. Wanted to get breakfast with the family before starting the day. 16 years ago this resturant was much smaller. They remodeled and now its roomy and the food still awesome. The menu has foods for everyone from vegetable breakfast to hash and meat selections. Large portions and the best server we had all vacation. Family friendly, the bar is completely separate from the dinning room so bring the kids and enjoy.

The food was decent but very time consuming. It was quite embarrassing when Alexandrea our waitress told us that our orange juice refills were not free from four feet away from our table "assuming we didnt have money to pay for our drinks." The Atmosphere was decent set aside a girl with a broken bloody nose was being interviewed on TV . When my biscuit and Gravy came to the table my waitress had her thumb touching my biscuit covered in gravy.

We checked to make sure that they were open on a Wednesday at 5:30pm for dinner. Site shows them to be open until 9:00pm on this day...along with a big bright NEON "OPEN" sign lit up in their window to indicate, business as usual... There happened also, to be four other cars full of disappointed hungry people in the parking lot, other than ourselves... Bummer... Id heard it was a good place...

I do think that the weight staff does a nominal job, in that sometimes theyre great and other times theyd rather be anywhere but work. But the food is bad, it sounds promising but its a lie. Its bland and overpriced. Ive been here about 4 times over many years, just to give them a chance, 4 chances, but every time Im let down by bland overpriced food. Ill never eat here again.

Requested a refill on my drink. This server brings a cup of soda and pours over the cup Ive been drinking. Asked the reason why he wouldnt give me a new cup with fresh ice, he responded he wasnt allowed due to water shortage. Really? Ordered crab cakes, direct from the freezer. Had better ones bought from Walmart. Staff is rude and unprofessional.

Pulled into town, seen people eating outside as we drove by, good sign. Friendly, ordered from a well rounded menu. Ordered a garden omelet, omg....so good, the whole family had a great experience...we all left stuffed and happy! Mission accomplished!

I have been here many times.. They totally upgraded the restaurant recently and everything is very nice..Nice people.. Nice view.. Good food... Excellent service... Maybe the best place around in Clearlake!! And the service is excellent!

The service sucked. I asked for water & she didnt bring one. I had to walk around to find a another waitress. My husband who is in crutches had to get up & ask the busboy to bring him a refill & and a water. Never coming back.

I love this place and the food right along with the great staff. My family has had parties here before and they have set up a whole room for us. The food is great tastes really good just like any other restaurant quality.

The food is really good and I always want to go back again and again. My favorite dish which I recommend is the bacon, avocado, mushroom omelette. Its surveys with any kind of toast, I always get an English muffin. Yumm.

The food was good but the service was lacking. If you get lucky and get Betty as you waitress you will have a great experience but if you dont get Betty you will barely see your waitress.
