An amazing place for burgers They have some of the best burgers in California. The wait time is pretty good. When I came at the busiest time of the day, the wait time was probably like 6-7 minutes which is good considering the amount of people they serve. Also I LOVE their shakes. Theyre so good. But if you go late night about 45 min before they close, you cant buy a shake as they are cleaning up. I recommend coming either an hour before or after noon due to the huge crowd. I also really recommend ordering online and going to pick it up that way you can skip the giant line. Please give this review a thumbs up if you liked the information. :)

Great fast and friendly service 5 stars. I ordered the Santa Barbara burger, tri-tip sandwich, refer fries, onion rings, mocha shake and a coffee shake. The portions are good and the price I feel is on the low side for what they give you 5 stars The fries are mediocre at best they are pre-cut frozen fries 1 star tops not worth buying. The onion rings had a weird oily flavor to them 2.5 stars The shakes are thick and very flavorful 4 stars. The tri-tip sandwich was good and juicy 4 stars. The Santa Barbara Burger was a little on the heavy side not sure if they grilled the buns in oil. 3.5 stars.

I wouldnt say this was better than In-n-Out or 5 Guys. More like comparable. I got the Teriyaki Char Burger. The teriyaki sauce was bland and the whole thing was immediately soggy. Ive had their BBQ Bacon Char Burger at their original location in Santa Barbara. It was much tastier. Their sweet potato fries are good but not spectacular. Im hoping that next time I come, it will be better. EDIT 5/2017 - Im on a low carb diet and they make it EXTREMELY easy to get any burger in a lettuce wrap!! Food is good, wait isnt too long anymore, the drink area and condiment bar are pretty clean every time we stop by, the only issue is the lack of seats, there is rarely an open booth and often when we go to sit after ordering, someone walks straight from the door to grab a seat then they send someone up to order, which leaves a bunch of booths with people sitting there alone with no food, in the way. there is plenty of patio area which would make sense to have an outdoor area to enjoy the passersby and traffic of pruneyard, but they dont have that.

We tried to phone in an order to-go. They insisted on a credit card up front... unusual, but OK... they want to reduce waste from orders not being picked-up. But after we placed the first several items, they told us we could not order anymore because our order had reached their arbitrary $50 limit. They would not allow us to have two orders, or pay for the rest when we picked up. Completely stupid. They gave us no choice but to give our $70 order somewhere else - and we wont go there again.

Nice restaurant with well priced burgers! Havent noticed myself waiting to long for the food to come out but it does take a while to place your order. The flavor of the burgers themselves are different than In-N-Out and Five Guys. They add pickles to their burgers which gives them a more juicy texture. The onions are not pronounced like they are at In-N-Out which is more favorable to some customers. IMO: Five Guys>The Habit> In-N-Out. You just cant beat that In-N-Out sauce...

I just ordered 2 burgers and I specifically told no drinks. But when i saw my bill , they had charged me with 2 drinks. in case she misheard me and put 2 drinks in the order she should have given me 2 glasses for drinks, but she dint. So i dont know what it is , was it just an honest mistake or they are trying to rip people off.so guys please check your order reciept after ordering. They gave a free charburger ticket for next time tho. The food otherwise is tasty.

Service at night is bad. Sandwich didnt have the swiss cheese that I ordered, nor was toasted, and when I asked for the change, the employees and manager were very rude; they didnt accept. Also, the fries had too much salt, and for somebody who has came many times, the quality of the food was the worst. Although, during the afternoon it is much different, the service is great as well as the food.

This is my 1st visit to HB. I had the grilled tuna sandwich and charbroiled burger both without fries. I was pleasantly surprised by the sushi grade sandwich which is cooked rare to my liking. The burger was excellent too. A good quality semi- fast food style meal without having to pay exorbitant restaurant prices. A good value place to eat. Atmosphere is so-so typical of fast food diners.

Good veggie burgers. Nice shakes. Very salty burgers and fries. "Whip cream" is cool-whip. Basically your typical fast food joint except for better burger options. I dont like that every option costs extra, and the way they ask, it sounds like its just a personal preference. I do like that they have tempura green beans. If your gonna have fries, why not sneak a little green in!

The food here is always excellent! Great selection of burgers and other tasty items. Restaurant is crowded though and often a line well outside the building. Not enough seating for the popularity I feel. The outside looks like at some point they may add a patio, but at the moment its just a bare concrete pad. Patio seating would definitely help ease the congestion in the store.

Food is good. However, there was one person waiting for an order. It took five minutes for the cashier to take my order. She had a lot of trouble understanding two burgers w only pickels, mustard, mayo. Other w everything. 12 minutes later... you guessed it three fully loaded burgers. Not even an Im sorry, instead an "you dont have to give us attitude!"

Pretty good burgers! Could have a better BBQ flavor though considering they are "Char-Burgers." Im extra picky with a great burger and these are pretty good, but I really favor a great Char-broiled flavor (like Clarks burgers in Mt. View). Dont get me wrong, Ill be back...just saying that there is room for improvement.

Loved It! Habit is always a good stop for a Santa Barbara style burger. Their burgers make me think of Kirks or Clarks with the little bit of char taste to them. Also love that they have an option for sourdough bread. You must try the onion rings! Enjoy :)

Excellent burgers and sandwiches. We got various burgers and sandwiches for a party of eight and everyone loved the food. The staff are nice and the place is clean. You get your food quickly and there is usually plenty of parking spots available.

Melting in your mouth meat, complimented by freshly toasted bread buns, vegetables and condiments, assembled to make a consert of well made burger. With a raspberry-lime lemonade, it is truly a habit forming. Oh well.
