Went there for breakfast, ordered the Lumberjack breakfast. ......supposed to be a THREE LARGE EGG omlette, more like 2 medium eggs. I have a 3 egg omlette daily at home, I know what 3 eggs are ...then I cut a piece of the HAM STEAK, really, this is what they call a ham steak?? Really thin, and looked more like a slice of ham for a ham sandwich...it tasted SOUR, like it had went bad last week...it called the waiter to tell him, he said he would let the cooks know...he comes back a few minutes later and says , " the cooks tasted it, and they said thats the way its supposed to taste". So I say, " so youre saying the cooks took a bite of the ham I returned? ??"....What a joke this place is, never again, dont eat here, theres many other good places to gave breakfast in town, just not here...

I like trying places off the beaten path when I travel, and this place had good reviews. How?! For starters the place is cramped with about 10 tables total. It was dirty, and the staff was cold and unapproachable. I ordered iced tea and it was like water. I asked for something else and my waitress got an attitude with me, and had a hushed tantrum. I was convinced she would spit in our food. It took roughly an hour to order and get our food. Then we had to ask for silverware (another mild tantrum here), and didnt receive a refill until just before we left. This place is garbage. The food was mediocre at best, atmosphere shucked, and service was awful. I would avoid this place at all cost. Dennys looked appealing afterward.

Food pretty good. Service consistly poor at best. I go there monthly as a free breakfast comes with my hotel room next door. Plenty of servers but obviously no supervision. Have to ask twice for almost everything and still go to counter. I have stood there not being acknowledged while girls chat. If you have te to kill and dont mind being very patient its probably ok. BTW. Bella Capri Inn next door is a great no frills place . Clean, cute, excellent service.

Service was terrible. No attention paid to our table. No drinks refilled during our entire meal, even after we asked. Food was just whatever. They serve grocery store hash brown patties. That was my first and last visit to Old Town Cafe.

I ordered medium rare and got well done, dried, overcooked. I asked for mayonnaise and had to ask again while the meat got cold. My wife asked for toast and had to go up twice to remind them.

My wife and I discovered this terrific café some years ago and have yet to have a disappointment. The benedict and Philly and fries are great and not pricy. Give it a try.
