I came here for lunch in a group of 4 for lunch on Sunday. Its loud and crowded. The air was stale and hot, there are no fans (not even a ceiling fan) and no patio seating. It took well over an hour to get our food, and once we got it it was lazily and unprofessionally made. They serve warm water in small mason jars. All our plates were brought out at separate times, two of with came sloppily tossed together, and extremely unappealing. The other two look like something I would cook for myself when Im hungover. It didnt taste awful, but it was no good. Tldr: Uncomfortable, bad service, sloppy and bland food.

Came in to the Old Moutian Inn and was imediately greeted by a friendly server. The menu had some unique home made dish options including a bacon jam biscuit plate. I ordered some of the most delicious waffles Ive had, along with an eggs Benedict that was to die for. The staff was warm and friendly and they made feel very comfortable eating there. The interior was cute and cozy. Definitely planning on coming back!

The homemade jams and jellies alone make Old Mountain Inn worth the stop. The chef there has a standard menu, but the whimsical things created in that kitchen are truly delicious. If youre in the area, its worth a little drive out of your way.

After the new owners took over, I gave them two tries and hated it. The previous owners had good tasting potatoes and the omelets and it was a nice local breakfast hangout. Now it’s ruined.

Great local place to eat! Very friendly staff. If anything is off during your visit, theyre quick to make it right. Try the banana pancakes and bacon; you wont be disappointed.
