Only gave 2 stars cause the food was very good. Got seated, waited for over 10 minutes for wait staff even though not very busy and numerous employees standing around shooting the breeze. Waitress came over and took drink order. 10+ minutes and the hostess brought the drinks. She finally told the bartender who was shooting the breeze the whole time with a bar customer. We flagged down a busboy to get water and kettle chips, the quickest order of the night. Waited another 15 minutes for the waitress to reappear to take our order. 15 minutes to get to table, again not busy. After 20 minutes finally got waitress attention to get check. Took her 10 minutes to bring the check and bring back the receipt. For a "quick" meal we were there for over 1+ hour . Will not be going back. Plenty of places in the area with better food at lower prices and good service.

Vanessa and Phil were outstanding. They treated us with sincere appreciation and care. They were right on top of our order and vanessa provided good suggestions on the food and beverages. The food was fresh and very tasty. We really enjoyed our meal. The quality interior setting was upscale and provided good ambiance for nice dining in Azusa. We will be make city cafe one of our favs.

The house made kettle chips are free and delicious. I dont even like potato chips and I helped mow the large bowl that they happily refill. The French Dip was the best Ive had. The soft ciabatta roll was different but a good paring. The meat was perfect and the horseradish was very tasty. Great service and a fun little atmosphere as well. If I lived closer Id eat here frequently.

Awesome place, great food! Ive been a few times and everything ive tried has been delicious, from the filet mignon to any of their soups and also the beef dip is great. Service is attentive and friendly. Great drinks at the cool wooden bar too :) Its great to finally have a nicer restaurant in Azusa without being too expensive. Highly recommend!

The lamb and the steak dishes are delish. It is tender and tasty. Their side dishes are also good, i had the spinach and my husband ordered the corn for me too just because i love corn. And i was not disappointed although their prices are pricey but you should try to go have a good dinner.

Very good food my husband got the smoke house burger and I got the bbq pulled pork. My husband really enjoyed it but next time Ill ask them to go easy on the bbq sauce. Overall great experience and were already thinking of going back soon!

I love this place. Just got eating there again for the 1st time in awhile service was excellent the chef was awesome he actually came to our table and then gave us free desserts I highly recommend this restaurant

Great cocktails and solid classic beer selection. Foods great, i have a weakness for the chip dips and pizzas. Great place for a small crowd. Place is a little tight but a must stop for a night of partying

The chips they give you to pick on is a trap. They are more than glad to offer you seconds. By the time my food came I was full. Look at that thick chunky blue cheese dressing!
