My husband and I visited this "restaurant" today on Fathers day. This was our first time at the packing district at all together so we were shocked at the way we were treated. When we arrived at Urbana the "hostess" proceeded to tell us very rudely we had to leave our stroller outside also we had to "look around" if there was a free high chair. I told her we would wait until there was one free and so it would be two adults and one child. She then asked me after I had just said that, how many people? Very rudely I might add with an attitude as if we were wasting her time. Then we proceeded to sit down and ordered from the happy hour as well as two main entrees and two drinks. Well I asked for milk and was told they had to check. They didnt. So looking at the menu previously there was nothing on there a 1 year old could eat. I got up because my son was hungry and proceeded to walk around. I found a crepe place and got my son one of those to eat so he could sit with us in peace in Urbana. Well I go back in and sit down and 3 minutes later the hostess rudely comes up and says you cant have outside food. I said that there was no food on the menu for a 1 year old and its fathers day! She didnt care. 2nd person comes up. Took it away from him and he screams as loud as he could. I said good boy and I pray he screamed the whole time so they understood how stupid it was for us to not have our 1year old get food when we were already spending $70. Same story from her, no sympathy. Told her there was a hair in my entree at that point, which there was and she says oh. Oh, thats it!! 3rd man comes up and says we cant have outside food or drink. He proceeds to tell me there was a sign. Haha. Yeah cuz I make it a point to read every sign at the front of a restaurant in back of the hostess......Ok. Now we are being harassed. We already took it from our son. I have a hair in my food. Ridiculous!! The 2nd girl comes back and says can I get another plate for you, pointing to the plate with the hair. I said no! I had already eaten 80 % of it! Seriously!! We asked for the bill 3 times and were so furious we had to wait so long for it! I would Never go back there and wouldnt recommend them to anyone. No hearts. The least they could have done was take the plate with the hair off the bill!! If this is what the world is coming to we are in trouble.

Urbana is a contemporary Mexican restaurant located inside Anaheim Packing House. Its not a big place. Reservation is highly recommended. We came here on a Saturday. Not only Urbana was completely packed, The entire Anaheim Packing House was completely packed. Everything on the menu looks good. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, the waitress recommended a few popular items to us. The cocktails here were definitely tasty, although I would like it to be stronger, and maybe less ice. For starter, we had Elote Callejero, Mexican street style corn. Corn had a aioli spread and sprinkled with paprika and cheese. This was very good, and I might imitate and make something like this at home. The Ceviche here didnt look anything special. But when you have a bite in your month, it was like flavor explosion. Fresh seafood with citrus and spices. It was probably one of the best ceviche weve ever had. Enchiladas Suizas was just alright. It was a solid dish, but didnt really stand out. Tacos, on the other hand, was exceptional. Each taco is $5, and you can mix and match to create your own plate. We picked Pork Belly and Al Pastor. I love the pork belly taco. Tender and fatty pork belly just melt in your mouth. Dr. P love the Al Pastor, very meaty and spicy. Dr. P was so happy with the tacos that he decided to have some tequila to go with it. Don Julio Blanco was very smooth. Although I think $12 is very pricy for a shot of tequila. We had a great time at Urbana. Both food and service were great. We also had fun walking around Anaheim Packing House after dinner. We would definitely come back for their ceviche and tacos again. Since both are on their happy hour menu, well be back for happy hour soon!

When I bought a home in Anaheim several years ago, I thought my dreams of eating delicious mexican food on a regular basis with easy access was finally coming true. Over three years later and I have still not been wowed by any local spot. Why isnt there any crazy delicious tacos at a regular mexican food joint? Last night I went to Urbana with my family and I am glad I called ahead, because my eye rolling family was not excited about the prospects of a busy packing house on a Friday night. We managed to park in a city structure and walk over to the Packing House through congested sidewalks filled with people streaming to the packing house. These people not knowing that they are walking right past some of the best places to eat in all of OC... Urbana is a delight and the food was wonderful, at my table we had: Kids Quesadilla 6$ made with Monterey Jack Cheese and a burrito size tortilla, probably enough food for any person I know Enchilada Suizas, this was a delicious combo of seafood that I did not try, but my mother in law said was great 14$ We also ordered three two taco plates 10$, The fish tacos were better than the steak and seemed to be in a totally different class based on appearance. The tacate craft beer was really nice to drink and quite a shock actually. My wife and mother in law had the mexican take on a Moscow Mule, the class was quoted with a citrus salt and they both enjoyed their drinks, served in a class shaped like a soda can without a top. We also had an order of guacamole, which was the perfect amount, regardless of how disappointed I was when they placed the long sparsely populated plate on our table.

Im not a huge fan of the Anaheim Packing District but this place changed my mind. I came here for happy hour to catch up with friends and its tucked away in a small intimate space near the main stairs. The spicy margarita was AMAZING! They go pretty heavy on the chili rim and jalapeno but I liked how it tasted with the hibiscus. I tried my friends paloma and that was also really good but didnt seem quite as strong. The food was also really good. We ordered the guacamole which had a slight kick to it. The mini chile rellenos were really good but definitely spicy. My favorite was the al pastor quesadilla which had a lime crema on it that was soooo good. All of this was on the HH menu so the prices were decent.
