Generally I love the freshness and quality of this bakery but today find myself quite irritated. Ive called in at least 10 times to try to place an order for tomorrow and their phone system is not picking up my calls - keeps going in and out. I left a voice message about my order and asked them to call me. They havent. I had the operator try to call them and the same thing happens - phone cuts out and they hang up. There is NO email to communicate either. I just called again, left a voice mail to cancel my order. Given that I have to be on the other side of Alameda at 7:15 am, I wanted to have my order ready and paid for at 7:00 am when they open. Grrrrrrrr..... Maybe this review will wake them up to the connection problems they are having.

Feel Good has the best bread that I have yet found in the Bay Area. Their baguettes ($3) are crazily well made. They can be eaten just by themselves; there are also smaller baguette rolls for singles or couples for just $1. Paying $4 to $5 for a good pound loaf of bread is OK with me, but I am careful when ordering the sweet things without a price tag in the display - a one-inch macaroon can be $2 and a slice of pie can be $5. Tarts and cakes are very good as well yet pricey ($25 for a tart and $40 for a cake). Their sandwiches are OK but do not stand up to the quality of the bread - Culina next door is a better choice for that. The staffs friendliness has improved drastically over the last two years.

Chocolate croissant bread pudding. You have to get it. Trust me. Trust me!!! They run out of it apparently and dont have it everyday. I did not realize how lucky we were to see a whole tray of them. The girl behind the counter suggested not sharing. SHE WAS RIGHT. So sad we didnt listen. We had one of those, a cupcake, and a couple of macarons. I regret tasting the chocolate croissant bread pudding first, because it made everything else not taste as good. What am I saying, I can never regret eating this delicious bread pudding... They have lots of macarons. I tried the maple bacon one. Im not a fan, but other bacon lovers out there might enjoy it!

Love this little gem inside the marketplace! They have the best macarons; my favorite flavors are pistachio and green tea. They also have delicious banana chocolate muffins, called "Bancho." They also use almond flour instead of regular white flour for their baked goods! I have to stop to get something every time Im nearby :)

Its a relatively nice bakery for your last minute sweet tooth. Best time to come is 8am-1pm for best selection. They use to have sit down location known for breakfast/brunch never went there yet, but learn its close already.

Extremely disappointed in their cake. They dont do real buttercream frosting. They use the same God awful shortening disaster that you find on cakes at the grocery chain bake shop. Bottom tier quality at yuppie prices.

Quick polite service, AWESOME pastries and bread. This isnt the bland fare you find in most local bakeries, this is buttery, crumbly, baked goodness on par with the BEST. Now if only they had coffee!

Nice little bakery inside of Alameda grocery on Park st. Great selection of macaron flavors and probably the best Ive ever tasted. The breakfast pastries are really good too.

Holy crap! This place is addictive. Great bakery with tons of options, though I am partial to their baguette that looks like a tree branch (youll know it when you see it).

Everything is superb here -- baguettes, a variety of savory loaves (olives, cheese, nuts), luscious sweets, sandwhiches and Blue Bottle coffee.

The bread here is awesome. Some of the best pastries and tarts ever also. Check out their new savory puff pastry mini pizzas.

An amazing selection of breads, pastries, and desserts. A bit more selection than their farmers market truck.
