This evening after a 14 hr workday figured to check this joint for their pizzas. According to Foursquare reviews of it that a few peeps highly recommend their $19 , 12" Diablita pizza and I did. Regrettably after the third slice I was sure that taste and the aroma is Tabasco sauce and this is without the added $3 more pepperoni. Nothing special or unique about it. I believe that in my case the reviews I listened to are paid peeps who posted them. I havent mentioned how rude the bar lady with the pixie blond cut treated us with displeasure and cynicism. We asked to take our drinks to go and she says we cant period and walks away. I get another to figure out why and he came back 1 minute later with they were out of to-go cups. Just WOW! Im done listening to fake reviews. I DONT RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE FOR ANYTHING BECAUSE ITS FAKE AND THAT LADY WAS ETHNOCENTRIC. Stick to the well known favorites like pizza Hut, dominos etc. Amen.

Color me impressed! If I understand correctly, theyre a newly-opened establishment (as of this writing) and they have at least the food pretty much spot-on. I went on a Tuesday for lunch. It was $1 oyster day, so I had some of those, which were from BC and tender/delicious. I also had their kennebec fries which was pretty good with their dips. I had their Magic Carpet speciality pies - the combination of fresh ages gruyere, seasonal mushrooms and bechamel were just right. Some at my table also had the sizeable wagyu beef burger and big chopped salad. All had pretty primo ingredients for a surprisingly low price. The pies are refreshingly priced the same all day.

This is my favorite pizza in Alameda. I came here with a buddy with a reservation. To start, we ordered a dozen oysters ($1 oyster on Tuesdays), the teleme cheeses & foie gras. The oysters tasted fresh, the cheese was really good and the foie gras was okay. This was the first time Ive ever had foie gras. I can see how it would be good, but it was smothered in marmalade sauce, so it just tasted like marmalade. We then ordered the meateor pizza between the two of us. It was delicious. For being an all meat pizza, it wasnt super salty. The staff was great, the food was great and the price was surprisingly low for all that we ordered.

One of my favorites. Been here, 3 times now. Ive only had drinks, appetizers and pizza, but Ive never been dissapointed. Im a self proclaimed vintage cocktail snob and they have some of the best in Alameda. I would come here more often, but with the aromas of ridiculous pizza and my lack of will power when it comes to carbs and cheese, its a dangerous combination. Sebastian is a fantastic cocktail connoisseur and was great to chat with. Definitely check this place out. See for yourselves.

East End has the best pizza in the East Bay, in my opinion. Their 9" pizza is never enough for me though, and its all too tempting to eat an entire 14" by myself. But I usually eat at the restaurant. Once I took a pizza to go, and by the time I ate it, about 15 minutes later at home, it wasnt nearly as good. Their specials change seasonally, but their standard margherita and bianca are always great. They also have an impressive liquor selection and cocktail menu.

This place was recently written up in Sunset magazine and we were in Alameda running some errands to decided to check it out. We didnt have a reservation but we were able to get a seat within 10 minutes which was great. Everything about the place was great besides the Arugula salad which we both thought lacked any real flavor. The Mousetrap pizza with Prosccuitto was really good though. Cool spot in Alameda with good pizza and drinks.

Creative pizzas with daily specials written on the board. I love thin crust pizza! The sauce here is good, crust could be a little better, but overall a quality pizza that is my go to spot in Alameda. Its also right next to the Feel Good Bakery, which is a plus. They also serve cocktails and good ones at that. Save room for dessert too! The deconstructed smore is yummy!

They have this one bartender there, Bunny, who is hands down the most thorough and friendly Ive encounteted. My gluten free dining companion asked about the soup and Bunny knew to ask a more specific question than either of us thought of. Also, their cocktails are balanced and well thought out and though I didnt eat, the food looks delicious.

East End is amazing. The food is excellent, and the drinks are excellent as well. Most of the menu is high end pizza, but if you are gluten free like I am, there are still a lot of great things to eat. I had oysters and risotto and mussels. All were top notch. The owners are friendly, as is all of the waitstaff, highly recommend.

Good pizza and great cocktails. People say its expensive, but its no more expensive than Pizza Delfina. Quality of ingredients are good. Also surprisingly they had good cocktails here too. The bathroom was interesting, since you need to ask someone for a token to avoid paying a quarter to use it. - Get the diablita - was very tasty.

Overpriced, under-cooked, and bland. Diabilito was soggy and almost raw. Service? Hipsters recently moved from Seattle with the "oh, youre ordering *that*" attitude. The cocktail was good, but that cant make up for crappy service and terrible food. I just dont understand the appeal or how people can rave about this place.

The ambience is too noisy. We tried the risotto and it didnt have any flavor, the Parmesan cheese is from bags, already shredded. The chicken wings had a lot of ketchup, personally I dont like them that way. Not worth it. Finally the flatware looks from the flea market. Im pretty sure they can do better than that.

Best real pizza in Alameda. Worth the extra cost for a traditional East Coast pie. Not $20 for most. We get traditional pie with pepperoni for $16. Please eat it there hot. But, we do go elsewhere when the gang is coming in and quantity is more important than quality.

Yes, the prices are a little steep, but you get what you pay for...and when it comes to pizza, East End gets it spot on: thin, crispy, tasty (especially the Diablita). The cocktails are not half bad too. The island needs more places on a par with East End.

East End is a bit of a splurge but you get what you pay for. Each pie is carefully crafted with quality ingredients before basking in the wood-fired oven. If you have a hankering for Neapolitan pizza, East End will not disappoint... Delizioso!

Flavor wasnt bad. A slice of pizza is more of a snack than a meal for lunch. Even buying a full size pizza will not feed more than two people if you are out in a group. Honestly Costco has better portions for the price plus is much tastier.

The pizza is excellent. The toppings are unique and high quality. My favorite is the very spicy Diablita. As a non meat-eater, I especially like that all pizzas come with no meat and the option to add it.

Hands down the best pizza in Alameda, top notch cocktails, and a great selection of beer & wine. Happy hour specials on drinks and oysters = good times! Reservations recommended (can be made online).
