First of all, let me clarify that this review is of the coffee. Not the food (which is quite good). However, I feel it necessary that their be a review evaluating the quality of the coffee as this establishment boasts a Roastery. As a custom, whenever I try a new cafe I order a simple latte. Its a good way to learn about the care taken in preparation of the milk as well as to the grind of the espresso and skill in dosing, tamping, etc. In the case of Andina, I was sadly disappointed. The woman who took my order was very nice and prompt, but she was clearly not a trained barista. Having worked in coffee for a very long time, and now having moved on to a career, I can understand that working at a cafe is not exactly something for someone to pour their effort/life into. She tamped the coffee with her full body weight, multiple times. It takes roughly 30 lbs of pressure to properly tamp a porta filter. Granted she was stick thin, but still. She then proceeded to pour milk into her steaming pitcher and turn her steam wand on full blast and let the milk sit there. There was no expansion of the milk, no control, and it came out thin and smelling very burned. I do applaud them for using double shots, but the espresso came out black as tar (no crema, no rich red coloration). I have heard great things about their drip coffee, and perhaps thats where their roasting skills come into play. But if theyre roasting their own espresso, its lacking. I want to like this place. Its got a great set up, and its in an ideal location. But as far as coffee goes, Id be inclined to recommend a Starbucks. And thats saying something, because I have more than a few bones to pick with them.

I have frequented this coffee shop for a long time and love their newest location, very comfy-cozy, like the coffee shop from Friends, good gathering spot with Wi-Fi, and when the weather is nice open air to the street front. Luv it! Never disappointed! They have many flavored coffees - MY favorite is Bananas Foster - and then additional flavored syrups for all sorts of various drinks...yayyy!! They have great food for anytime, with or without coffee, and then there are the decadent muffins, cookies and CheeseCakes!!! Especially the Key-Lime Cheesecake, it is a sight and taste to behold. I always have to take a piece home, with a bag or two of coffee beans....mmmm!

I traveled from Memphis to Hope, then to Hot Springs and finally to Little Rock. I spent a good week without a really good cup of true Medium roasted coffee. Im not talking Charbucks oily and dark version of Medium. Im a coffee roaster too and was just about dying for a good cup of coffee and found Andians Cafe just down the street from out hotel on our last day in the south just in time. Thank you very much for a great cup of coffee. I could taste the sweetness instead of char. If you have not experienced the different nature varietal flavors of coffee, visit Andina Cafe. Youre in for a big surprise and the owners are really nice people as well.

The food is scrumptious especially the omletes, but the only complaint I have is with the husband, he is very rude and he only speaks to a certain class of people. I know I dont have to patronize the business, but if your prejudice why would you open up in the heart of little rock, Arkansas. And the most killing part is that he shows it. But to the owners of Andinas cafe, Im about to expose your butts. Fatty

The Staff is Awesome! The Coffee is Awesome! I take friends there to show them what a Great Cup of Coffee taste like. When they walk out they say "wow thats an awesome cup of coffee". Then there is a Roast Beef sandwich with wasbi sauce! Try it!.... the bread will rock your world. I am a foodie....and I will drive across town for them. Plus they have Qbot loyalty program... ask them about it.

My girlfriend and I go in at least once to twice a week! We love the atmosphere and the specialty coffee drinks. The fact that they roast there own coffee beans in house is the best! Their cheesecakes and assorted truffles are to die for! They also have a full breakfast menu and if youve never tried their omelets..... You dont know what youre missing!

Great plate lunches + regular soup/sandwich fare. Price a bit high for lunch. Very friendly staff. Down fall is no outside tables to dine with your dog but there is a dog friendly park with picnic tables across the street.

We come here often for breakfast, great omelets that are huge. The wife and I split one which seems about right. They also offer excellent pastries and Cheese Cake. Great place to eat and very friendly staff.

Food was good but hardly worth the wait. Bagels are great, coffee is good. Omelets are very good. Owner was very friendly. Mocha wasnt much more than hot chocolate with a shot of espresso.

Good downtown coffeeshop. Inexpensive. Friendly staff. Easy and open on the weekend (unlike many downtown shops). Cooked dishes arent memorable. Nice eastern-European influenced pastry.

Eh. Disorganized, overpriced and mediocre food/coffee. At 9am on a Saturday we had to wait 10 minutes for them to brew coffee. Asked for water and we got 1 glass for our table if 4.

Great house-roasted coffee, thick sandwiches, and a newly opened taproom that serves Diamond Bear beer exclusively. Tell the owners hello, they will probably be serving you.

After my hotel had terrible coffee, I went searching for something good. Andina delivered, and the pepper bacon, egg and cheese croissant was delicious.
