"I want it, oh, I want it Oh, I want it for my own Ive got to know Ive got to know What is this place that I have found? Whats this?" - J. Skellington The lunch bunch had wanted to enjoy Crepe Bar for many months, but had been previously scared away by reports of insane wait times and limited seating (sohwee Janee P). Realizing that they took reservations, I set aside a table for 6 (really 8) about two weeks prior. And boy, am I glad I did. Walking in with Ann R, I didnt see an available table in the place... which is when I noticed J-WoW and Linh were occupying the table of highest honors... the reserved hi-top. Realizing that our party of 4 was not getting any larger, we shifted to one side of the table to free up four contiguous chairs, because were thoughtful and stuff. Our Sep outing found us at Salut Kitchen Bar with the greatest waitress of all time: Keary. I found her male counterpart: Cody. This dude embodied the essence of Crepe Bar, fun, witty, timely, and able to turn down a bribe. Ill be back with more cash... Being our first time, the table took a while to lock in on palatable entrees, and Cody didnt rush, even though the place was packed. Even better, since we were at a reserved table, we didnt have to order at the counter. Dining in a group really is the only way to go. I paid for one savory crepe, yet was a partaker in four amazing crepe combinations. I couldnt pick a favorite, they were all so good! And Cody had the sensibility to hold off on the sweet crepes until our party had completed round 1. But whats this? We were being treated to a sampling of paper thin cut radishes on cultured butter. Hey, it could have been served with ignorant margarine, and I wouldnt have known the difference, but it was nice to feel so froufrou... because, you know.. Im in the fast lane from LA to Tokyo. Okay Upon arrival, I knew Js dessert was going to take the cake. That crepe was bananas, B.A.N.A.N.A.S. That crepe was also nutella, N.U.T.E.L.L.A! One more round of free resplendent Rollos and we were ready for our PhotoOp... which Cody and team made happen. Overall, it was a FABULOUS lunch. Ill award the Crepe Bar an: A + + + + + + + + + + ! And I didnt even have to use my AK, today was a good day

Maybe Im missing what is so great about this place that it has 4+ stars. Our familys experience was definitely NOT worthy of 4+ stars. We had to seat ourselves, stand in line to order, and get our own coffee (which is terrible) and utensils, but were expected to leave a tip at checkout without them having done anything but smile at us. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Admittedly, we were a good sized group, but our wait time was seriously ridiculous. Our kids were NOT happy and the food was not worth it. We ordered a variety of items and the only truly yummy dish was the nutella/banana/strawberry crepes; everything else was just "meh". Ive given it a day before writing this review and the only positive things I can come up with are that one crepe, the staff was mostly friendly, and it was clean.

ok, seriously.... You cant go wrong ordering the "First Time" crepe at Crepe Bar. It is banana and Nutella wrapped within one of their scrumptious crepes. Sure, you probably dont want to order one of these every day but if you want a treat once in a while, this will do the trick. Of course, all of their other selections are sure to make you happy, too. They have fresh produce delivered regularly and their crepe selections will not only give you many amazing choices, their quality and freshness will keep you coming back for more. Their coffee and teas are good. Forget Starbucks, meet a friend or business associate for coffee and a crepe at Crepe Bar. MUCH better choice. Yes, they have WiFi. Give em a try. Youll be glad you did.

I went here with a couple of people from work for lunch the other day. It took about 45 minutes to get food after ordering. I had the Papa crepe which at one time was really good but today was incredibly salty and unlike other times when I had visted, there was no small fresh green salad on the side. Ordered a cold brew for 3.50 and it was served in a small water glass size. My friends pork was tough and the sweet crepes they ordered were not cooked properly. It looks like the menu has changed which is understandable if its seasonal but the overall quality along with the high price for what you get is not worth it. And dont come here for lunch unless they wont miss you if youre late getting back. Sorry, but will not be back.

I have had two experiences here the first was alright and the second was exceptional. The first time we came was a Saturday around 11 and it was sooo busy. We waited forever (like an hour and half) and werent that impressed with the food. That probably was because we waited so long. Then, today (2/5/15) I went back again and ended up ordering the same food the breakfast burrito and the vanilla bean. However, this time we got the chocolate with the vanilla bean. All I can say is that it was fantastic. The flavors in the breakfast burrito were so rich and the chocolate added a while new dimension to the vanilla bean. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality. Im looking forward to my next visit!

The crepes were just ok. Good ingredients, but the presentation was a bit lacking. The crepes were structure-less with smeared sauces and toppings. Are they trying to replicate the fussiness of fine dining in a strip mall...or just being lazy? The end result looks like mush thrown on a plate. We also ordered yogurt with strawberries, however 20 minutes later when our plate arrived there were no strawberries - they ran out! Our substitution was dry granola. I asked for a different fruit and they said they didnt have anything else, when I could see plenty of bananas on patrons plates. This isnt a place we will run back to any time soon.

Great atmosphere and fabulous food. Savory and sweet crépes. I broke my gluten-free diet for the Pick Me Up crépes with coffee and chocolate flavors, and garnished with chopped hazelnuts. YUM! (Crépes are mostly egg and butter, so I figured I wouldnt react too much, and I was right!) Even the side of scrambled eggs was yummy and buttery. The others in my party loved the crepes with marinated strawberries and a lovely cream filling. Yummy is definitely the operative word at the Crépe Bar.

I went to this place today and was highly disappointed. While the breakfast burro was very nicely done and the flavor was good I was quite disappointed in the sweet crepes was very under rated the crepe dough wasnt cooked through at all it was practically raw the only thing that was tasty about was the ingredients they had in the sweet crepe. The coffee was also very bitter. I wouldnt recommend going to this place

Great, small crepe place! Really quaint interior. The establishment is slightly on the hipster-side, but who cares, the food is amazing! This also explains why its usually packed for brunch. Expect long lines, especially on the weekend! Both their sweet and savory crepes have been great. However, they are a bit snooty as they will not accept any substitutions or additions on their menu.
