If there were any way to give zero stars I would. Where the good reviews come from is totally beyond me! It must be from employees. The table in front of us was obviously filled with employees. And the discussion at the table included no less then 150 f-bombs & inappropriate talk about sex in the bar. We were sitting out on the patio and they were smoking at their table. A guest at another table walked over to them looking at the floor and asked is that a cockroach? And one of the employees said yes its just another sewer Roach. I hope theyre not in the kitchen! At that moment I seriously would have walked out, however, we had already ordered our food. I ordered the sirloin steak and I think a boot would have been a little more tender! I am completely awestruck I cant even come up with the words to describe this environment! I did video the table in front of us with all the employees talking. It would probably be considered R-rated. Not sure if there is a way to share it as a part of my review. Wish I could. However, on a good note, our waitress was absolutely amazing. I wish I would have gotten her name. She could do so much better at another place. I did leave her a good tip.

Went for the first time tonight. It wasnt very crowded, there were around 5 other tables already seated when we got there. After waiting for 15 min, the waiter came over, and I ordered a beer and a burger with fries, and my wife ordered chili, and fries. 15 min later, I asked about my beer and the waiter said hell check on it. About 5 min later, the beer showed up. About 20 min after that, so 40 min after I ordered it my food arrived, my wifes did not, hers came about 5 minutes later. So 45 min, for a bowl of chili, and fries. My burger was burnt on one side and over cooked on the other. Wait staff seemed to be sitting around the bar socializing. There were two positives for the night. Marble hearts was playing and theyre a great band. Jessica was teaching line dance, and 2 step lessons, and she was awesome. First time, and last time going here.

Went back after the change of new ownership because the first ones were not that good at all. New owners are worst then the last one! Bar has such potential I give it 6m-1year put menus were on an order pad like what in the world. Absolutely no drink me. Your drink menu is me is what they told me and my girlfriend. Super super slow like always so I was expecting a burger to get out pretty fast it took over 30 mins after we were there for 45 we left. They served us our water in red solo cups it gets better. They were reusing the solo cups my cup tasted like whiskey the bar tender was more like a first time bar back do not go there and spend your time cool name cool idea really bad everything

Came for dinner on Friday night. Waited for 18 minutes without anyone approaching table. As we got up to leave waiter approached table and offered to take our order for another server. Waiter was very friendly and apologetic. Ordered chicken dish which took 40 minutes to come from kitchen. Again waiter very apologetic but no manager at any time approached our table. Servers too busy congregating at front table chit chatting not paying attention to customers at all. What could actually be a nice place wont stand a chance if keeping doors open with all the nearby competition. Dont waste your time here move down the road

Not even worth one star, Service was terable. I jointed a group from work who had already been servied, and one other came in with me. she got served right away and the server said he would be right back with my wine order. after 15+ minetes of watching wait and serve others at the bar he finally came around, however he did not have my wine order. He instead started taking food orders from the rest of the group. I stoped him and asked where is my drink order and that I shouild get that before he goes on with any more orders. He said if I insisted on getting my drink he would not serve me and I would have to leave.

Im so confussed by the good reviews. We were there last Saturday; only one other table with a group of ladies and a few people on the bar side. Our food was horrible! Fries cold and rubbery. BBQ not quite fair, hamburgers dry and cole slaw had no flavor. I took 1/2 of my ruben home to find out the next day there were 2 very small pieces of meat at each corner, the rest was sauerkraut. Our dinners were horrible!! Will never go back. Too many other good places in Surprise.

Ive tried going to this place three times. Three strikes and youre out. The first time it was closed early. The second time l realized why its closed early. This place is full of snow birds, my dad and I waited at the entrance to be greeted. After five minutes of waiting and looking around and seeing no one under 75, we turned and left. The third time, the same thing happened. Plenty of other options to go to. Stay away.

The hostess was not pleasant. Had to find someone to take our order after waiting 20 minutes. Appetizer cane or with food because hostess have order to server late and all at the same time. We were seated away from everyone else and the establishment was not busy at all. Will not go back ever again just because the service was that bad.

Went in for lunch at 12:30 there were 4 other customers. We ordered, after a 10 minute wait for a server. Burgers and fries took 45 minutes! Had the tv not been on a hockey game we would have walked out. And the prices belong in a Scottsdale country club; not on a back street in an age restricted neighborhood. Poor planning, Boots!

I truly loved and enjoyed my experience with you this facility, Ben please look at the possibility of becoming the ultimate best facility in the west valley at the very least the surprise areaa by simply expanding yourself hours of operation, this place is the best place I have been in a very long time, I give you a 5 + star

My friend and I decided to find a local bar in this town where we live. We went there to try few drinks. We were asked to dance with a manager, Ben, who is an awesome owner. We got to karaoke too! Amazing night for both of us! Cheers to Boots and Bourbon! Definitely will come back for a Thursday night lesson of line dancing!

You have some real good employees at this bar. They seem to socialize with the customer instead of polishing glasses like many other bars. A real good attribute. I would be my guess that the new owners have been to some high class bars. I give it a 5 plus - we will see if the better employees are retained.
