Where do I start? The menu. Its small, very limited as far as Mexican restaurants go, about half of what other restaurants like it serve. The options werent all that appetizing so I just got the quesadilla (which is called a sincronizada on their menu) which was good but how can you mess that up. The service. Not that good to be honest, friend ordered a side of rice and beans to go with what he previously order and the the waitress forgot and the guy had to finish his food without it. When we asked about it, she had totally owned up that she forgot, even though this place is tiny and not much people there when we were there. The check. Once we got the check, we noticed gratuity was added already and pretty generously if I may say so, totally not worth the overall experience (mediocre food, bad service). Theres definitely better places around, so do what you will with my info.

I was looking for something authentic that captures that Mexico feeling and this was the place! Honestly blew my mind away. Our service was amazing! Our waiter was the best! Very nice man! And he knew his stuff from heart! Sold me on everything! The decoration is beautiful and the food is the BEST. You get what you paid for honestly. I loved this place. Being Mexican myself Im very picky when it comes to eating out to Mexican restaurants but this place was outstanding. Live music, great food, beautiful place, great service, and etc. perfect place. I love it! Will be coming back a lot! Order desert its amazing!

Overpriced and out-dated. Simple things like the pico were obviously old (mushy tomatoes, soggy onions), appetizer was tiny and they used iceberg lettuce as its garnish. Ordered a $26 filet minion medium rare and it came out medium well. All other dishes were just warm, not hot and not fresh. Main dining room smells like rat turds: literally. Years ago I helped a friend remodel a house that had a severe roof rat problem: its one of those smells you wish you could forget. This place sucks. Go to Barrio Cafe if you want quality upscale Mexican cuisine.

I drive by this place a few times and Ive always been curious about whats inside this pink building. It was a pleasant surprise to find a little Mexican paradise tucked away. The service was great and I loved the food. Its Mexican food made by mom type restaurant. None of that greecy overly salted fast food type. They pride themselves in thier menu and I could tell that they try to stay true to flavors and fresh food. The place has great authentic feel, bar, admirable art/decor. My favorite thing so far is the chocoflan! Must try.

The mole is very authentic, probably the best in town. Its a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Its very romantic for the dinner hours so make sure that you keep that in mind. This is a place where you can get anything and it wont disappoint. The soups are very good and the flavors very different than anything offered by other places. The desserts are addictive. A great place to bring a date or just have a drink with old friends. The experience will be a memorable one.

If you are looking for a restaurant that has some good qualities such as: being quick, elegant, and good food; then I suggest giving this place a try. Just finished eating at Asi Es La Vida. Alex was my waiter. Immediatelly upon walking in, it felt like a high-end Mexican food restaurant. Needless to say I was happy with my visit. My wife and her family are hispanic so I am spoiled when it comes to mexican food. I have some high standards and this place did a decent job.

The service was good but the server asked if i wanted some chips and guacamole while we wait i thought sure u kno its like the mexican resturants where its free nope on the bill ....then i asked for tortas milanesa and the meat was breaded!!! Wtf food tasted gross and i had to pay $40 shouldve went to mcdonalds.....how disapointing to waste money

The entire place is decked out in Frida paintings so off the bat it gets a 5 for decor and setting. The servers are very authentic and very well mannered- it feels like a fancy dining experience. The sangria was too sweet for my liking, but the chef made up for that my making me an off menu vegetarian entree. I will return.

This is my favorite restaurant. The owners run the dining area and are chock full of graciousness and charm and the decor and cuisine knock me flat. Love shrimp? Love chili? Love great cocktails and smiling service? Do not miss this addictive place. Listening to the guitars strumming as I write this.

The place was amazing, great service, but it was a bit pricey be that as it may the environment was so warm and the allowance of private time, (intimate), was great although they didnt check in enough -was too much time in between but I would go back again definitely recommend to a friend hahaha.

Passing by phoenix and looked for a mexican restaurant, best decision ever made. Will return for sure when i am in the area. Authentic and delicious food!! I tried pierna de borrego (lamb) and my brother costillas de borrego, DELICIOUS! Wish there was a place like this in El Paso TX.

This is my favourite place to eat for Mexican cuisine (Barrio being a close second), both times dinner (I need to go to lunch still). Sauces are delicious, ambiance and staff are wonderful; but in the end, we come for the food. Cant wait to go back and try the lunch menu.

This place is one of my favorites and is in the running for one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the valley. The fresh squeezed juice and guacamole is amazing. There lunch specials are the best and the desserts are great. If you tried this place you are missing out.

Dont be fooled by the silly exterior, prepare for presidential service and gourmet dishes with incredible drinks. Possibly the best food Ive ever had and the setting was authentic and romantic. Definitely coming back to phoenix just for this!

Great authentic Mexican food. Biggest selection of Tequilas Ive ever seen this side of the boarder. Excellent service and would definitely come back. Great dinner spot too.
